Excellent food
Was I leery with only a handful of reviews and nothing recent? Yes. But I'm glad I took the chance. Ordered a torta combo - super yummy carne asada on a nicely toasted ciabatta roll. Highly recommended!

The cakes are super delicious and always taste the same 😋 They have a unique flavor and they make them quickly. The atmosphere is also really nice for relaxing. I recommend going during the week to avoid the crowds and parking hassles.
Tortas carbonas are delicious!! This place has many small restaurants with different types of food, tortas, hamburguers, sushi, pizza, delicious coffee and pastries. There is something for everyone. Their prices are very affordable and right on thr main stret close to rosarito beach hotel. The guys at the torta place are very friendly. Best torta Ive had in years!!! Plenty of outdoor dining.

Solid food, decent prices for a touristy area and nice service!
Not a tortas place. Only one kind of sandwich is sold and three more items on the menu. My sandwish had just a few pieces of meat. It looked nothing like their pictures or other people's pictures. They made their tortas with Ciabatta type bread with excessive amounts of flour. A small portion of chips and meat sold as NACHOS with a predominant vinegar flavor. Service is ok.
It's 4 PM and they're not serving. I came back at 8 PM and they still weren't open. I asked for flavored water and they didn't have any either. Seriously, don't open businesses like this if you're going to leave them this neglected.
I came here three years ago and they were really good. Today I asked if they were still serving carne asada and they said yes, but it was a mix of something like pork leg with a slight sardine flavor. The tortas were terrible, I felt ripped off. I think the only good thing was the soda and the super greasy fries; they looked like they'd been reheated. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.
