I normally like the food here and sometimes the food tasted old. So I try to choose my days wisely. However, recently they putting a lots of legs in the jerk chicken dinner. It makes myself and husband angry. Now today I requests to please not to put a lot of legs in my plate, I ordered a large meal, and didn’t look and open it until I got home. My plate has 3 big pieces of legs, and one thigh. I feel disrespected and not accommodated, and I won’t be going back. They must be trying to save making all these legs. I don’t buy food on the street for legs. I’m so angry I won’t be eating it, I’m just going to order uber eat from somewhere else, and if I was close enough, I would bring it back for a refund.

Food is always good but they NEVER NEVER NEVER have sides. The sign outside the establishment tells you to order online, don’t come inside but I think I need to come inside. Please stop sending lettuce instead of actually investing in sides like other West Indian spots.

Nice staff. Always soo polite. I come for pick ups and usually everything is ready on time. Keep the nice work. Just had a very bad experience. The ladys that used to work here is not here and the staff is been soo unprofessional. I had way better experience in the past. Today these guy wanted to argue and fight. I don't have time for waiting half an hour for you to fight me.

Got a cake here today it tasted ok the middle didn't taste good i scraped it out and trash it but the cake itself could pass, but half way through the cake I felt something sharp in my mouth when I took it out it was a piece of egg shell.. suddenly didn't felt like finishing it... big turn off

Beware the medium size order is really a small. Spoke to the person at the front and customer service is poor. I explained I've been a customer for over a year and always order medium and food is much less and she said it always been the same. Unfortunately I don't have the option to post pictures.

My order was placed and instead of delivering it , someone had hungry children at home they needed to feed off my dime instead. Trifling. I should have followed my spirit and not ordered anything from this place. Go to Dunns River instead, i always get my food and its always tasty. Thumbs down for CJ Cafe. BUMS

I mean where can I start, your in line quietly and ppl can walk in and shout orders over you and get their food and be cashed out first! Thank god I can stand up for my self, bad service don’t equal good food, and make sure you don’t ask for any gravy they will make sure it’s dry🙂‍↔️😩

This was the absolute worst service I've dealt with in years. The receptionist took my order and set it aside. Then her and the servers took four orders within the next 11 minutes, gave them their food, and they left. They literally did everything to ignore me while the cashier hid behind the order screen snickering. I confronted them with respect. They were smug and arrogant. They were intentional with the disrespect and delay tactics. This place definitely needs new management and staff.

I normally go to halal bros next door so I decided to try the jerk chicken with rice and peas from CJ Cafe. I also ordered mac and cheese. They call it mac and cheese pie. I waited 5-8 minutes before anyone took my order. Which in my opinion no one should wait that long if it isn't busy. Regardless customer Service needs improvement. There were other lady's behind the counter but I waited till a young girl finished her meal...(maybe she was on break), there should be a back up. Now Back to the food...the chicken tasted old, rice was soo bland ...mac and cheese was decent . I ended up giving my food to some else. This place needs new management.

I ordered a soup from UberEats. It said soup of the day, nothing specified but I ordered anyway because I just wanted soup. The soup tasted like 100% oil. I tried mixing it around, I tried throwing the oil off, it still tasted the same. I could not drink that. I was VERY disappointed, annoyed and angry. I still do not know what type of soup that was because it had no taste and I could not make out what type of meat that was. Money wasted. Stomach upset! I will NEVER order from this place again. The only good thing they have is the macaroni salad. Everything else is trash.

I WAS a frequent customer here. The food here is good, not great, but good. The prices were decent and most recently the prices have increased, in addition to the attitude from staff. The light skin older Jamaican lady has terrible customer service skills. Her attitude is stinker than the fry fish. She is cold, and wicked. Her tone is sharper than knifes. Her eyes are like daggers to your chest. Deadly. I had to flee to the halal restaurant next door. Customer service is very important to the experience of purchasing food. I’ve tried my best to deal with the attitude of this lady on numerous occasions. BUT today, is the end of this bully. Dear customer you deserve better! Take your business elsewhere.

I ordered Rasta Pasta and the pasta was spoiled over cooked pasta. If it was freshly cooked , It shouldn’t spoil if you have it in the fridge. I Spoke to the manager instead of trying to rectify the problem he’s was argumentative. We ordered $73 worth of disgusting food. I will never order from this place again!
