I went here on 09/05/23. My co-worker raves about this spot so I had to check it out. In Queens there aren't too many places doing halal jerk chicken so when I heard they had it I couldn't wait to stop in. They have a pretty big lot in the back for parking. Street parking is tough to find on the Conduit so the lot is definitely appreciated. Inside is setup for takeout. The staff works fast & efficiently. The young lady who took my order was a sweetheart & very nice. I went with their jerk chicken quesadillas, jerk chicken platter, fries & onion rings. All the food was amazing! I've never had jerk chicken before & my 1st bite into the platter was heavenly. The onion rings were perfect too. They have a large selection on different types of sauces from mild to spicy & everything in-between. I can't wait to come back soon & give their burgers a try. I highly recommend Halal Bros Grill to everyone & especially those like me who are looking for legit halal Caribbean food in Queens. Give them a shot, you will not be disappointed. Plus they are open late.

I just went last night to grab some food. First time coming here. Grabbed me some chicken and lamb over rice combo. This is my usual. Wait time was not long, prices are about what I pay in MD but a dollar or two more out here and somewhat less food than what I’m used to with my regular spot. (It’s NY, what do you expect). Food was pretty good, the meat definitely tasted different from what I’m used to so that was something that caught my eye. I will admit, being there’s no tables to sit down and eat especially when you’re hungry and that was a downer for me because when you’re in the mood to stop and sit down and eat, I had to decide to either eat in the Green Acres parking lot or take it back to my side which was a half hour drive. I had to go with driving back to the house and that’s why my food in the pics looks drowned with sauce. That is what brings my rating down along with the no parking situation except for the laundry mat which that lot is small especially the place is right off of sunrise highway which is a busy spot also. The food was good otherwise.

Rating this spot a 4. It's not quite perfect. I was in the area and hungry. The reviews and high ratings are attractive. It was a decent experience. My few complaints, and from what I noticed, some others felt the same, was the meat portion. I ordered two combo platters, one mix, and the other was chicken - $15 each with a drink. The mix barely had enough lamb or chicken, while the chicken platter had plenty of chicken. The rice was okay, and pita was slightly stale. They charge 25 cents for extra sauce, too. Overall, it's just not a place I'd return to. I'd rather drive to the Halal Guys. But this place is conveniently located for you, stick to the chicken platter. But the staff was nice enough and the service was quick. Management, please take a look at the quantity for the dollar amount that you charge. Each platter should be consistent.

100% Halal and Delicious!! We ordered jerk chicken over rice combo, Mac n cheese, hot wings, cheeseburger, fries, buffalo chicken burrito, chicken zinger burger, and the lamb quesadillas. The best items were the lamb quesadillas. The fries could have used more salt and the hot wings were too salty. The zinger burger and the cheese burger did not disappoint but did not stand out either, they were your average burgers. The buffalo chicken burrito was good but the tortilla bread was too soggy, maybe need a thicker bread or wrap. Jerk chicken was good but the flavors weren’t meshing well with the rice and veggies. The sauces were on point especially the dragon one. We also had drinks order but they forgot to put in the bag. Other than that the restaurant was very clean and will def recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

The place is ok. We placed a big order and the food was ok. Some of the grill chicken was actually over cooked and a bit burnt. The portions are ok. The place is not set up for dinning in as there are no settings or tables. You have to order out. The good part is that they have a dedicated parking area on the side of the store which is a bless in this area. Overall, compared to other similar fast food places this is just on the ok not the great side. The staff consists of friendly young adults or teenagers.

This place has changed over the yr. The food does not taste the same. I ordered my usual chicken quesadilla the chicken was spicy & taste like curry chicken. The time before that I ordered chicken over rice. I thought it was maybe an error. But chicken taste like it was srqsoned with curry. The place is always clean. I used to look forward to ordering from here but I think I won't be going here anymore.

Used to be a long time customer here with my family. My dad always spent near $100 every visit, they used to have salmon and more items on their menu. They didn’t skimp back then, also the quality went down severely. Their chicken used to be flavorful and red, now it taste similar to the halal guys. The salad used to be so fresh, now it’s lukewarm and dry. They definitely cut costs here.

I hate to say this but this is my last time patronizing this location. My first experience was great. no issues at all. The second visit was less pleasant. When I asked nicely for two additional dressings for two bowls of salad (after only receiving two, the young black lady assisting me seemed visibly irritated. The guy was nice enough to ask what meat I wanted for my mix chicken. On my third visit, I placed the same order as usual. This time, the employee mixed lamb and chicken without asking. When I asked whether I could choose the type of chicken, he said yes, so I requested jerk chicken and lamb. At that point, the bowl had to be remade, and he appeared irritated. Unfortunately, there is no way to specify this on the kiosk, which is why I waited in line to clarify my order when I get to the counter. Almost half the people there seemed unhappy or disengaged. I can relate, having felt that way about jobs when I was younger, but being on the other side of the fence now has made me understand how important customer service truly is. Many businesses lose customers because of poor customer service, and I know many people who have done the same. I can’t speak on the other food, but their salads are definitely good, along with the dressings and sauces. But the service is terrible. I shouldn’t have to walk on eggshells just to get condiments that should already be included with my order, or have to accept whatever I’m given without a choice when I’m the one spending my money.

I have been a loyal customer for years. I always purchased meals from here without a problem. My last few visits I notice how much they have cut back on the meat and the salad. The meat was placed in small sections over the rice, I ordered the family plater the meat was barley enough for everyone and the salad was in a smaller box than usual. I'm Not sure what's going on with management, but this is the last time I will ever order from any of their locations.

Big rip off I ordered uber eats crispy chicken over rice and loaded fries. I paid almost $50.00, I requested spicy white sauce, hot sauce and dragon sauce on the crispy chicken over rice and they barely put some white sauce on the food. The food is already over priced and they do charge you for extra sauces. Never again I wasting my money at halal bros.

They do not answer the phone. Called 1 hour before closing had an issue with my order. They didn’t answer the phone. When I drove all the way back I called while in the store. They let the phone ring out and proceeded to talk about not answering the phone and how they should get the picture. I’ll never be returning !!

every time i go in store i have a great experience whenever i order online something’s missing. every time. if you want to enjoy the food, go in person. it’s also significantly cheaper if you do pick up/order to go.

This was absolutely terrible they completely ruined my order and skimped me on my Chicken over rice and my salad. I am completely disgusted with the service and disappointed with the food. I will no longer order from this place again. I barely had any chicken and barely had anything in the bowl. DO NOT ORDER THROUGH UBER EATS THEY WILL SKIMP YOU ON YOUR PORTIONS

Disappointed in the quality of food I received via Uber Eats Delivery on 11/13/25. The chicken gyros were put on a Pita Bread and there was so much sauce it had soaked through the foil wrapping making them not edible. I requested all sources to be put to the side, not on the food. The fries tasted like they had been reheated. The chicken over rice had all the sauces on them, the white, the barbecue and the jerk. No utensils, no napkins, just everything soaking wet. If I had proper transportation that night I would have brought all the food back but because I was traveling from out of state I was unable to do that. The quality of the food did not meet my expectations at all and I ordered over $50 worth of food. You can do better. All of my requests were ignored. They didn't even give me ketchup.

This was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had at Halal Bros on 8/27/25 between about 6:30-7pm. I placed a simple order: a bowl with less rice and more salad and lamb. Not only was my order ignored, but when I repeated it multiple times, I was dismissed and brushed off by the woman plating the food, who claimed to be the manager. Instead of correcting the mistake, she told me I would need to pay extra for salad on the side, when that is exactly what I had originally ordered. I explained that I’ve received this same order before without an issue: a small portion of rice on the side, half the bowl filled with salad, and the meat added on top. She flat-out told me, “If you wanted it the old way, you should’ve asked.” How was I supposed to know there was a “new way”? I asked if there was a sign or notice, she admitted there wasn’t, then shifted the blame onto the cashier, saying “he should’ve told you.” Well, he didn’t. And by that time, my meal was already paid for. Her solution? Pay more money for something I had already requested. I refused. The lack of professionalism, complete disregard for the customer, and unwillingness to fix a very basic mistake was shocking. This was not only terrible customer service, it was condescending and disrespectful. I have always enjoyed Halal Bros in the past, but after this encounter, I will not be returning. If this is how management treats loyal customers, then this location has truly lost its way.

I've been coming here for years, apparently they got popular on tik Tok and now they don't know how to serve proper portions. The last eight or so times I've been here, I've been getting next to no food. It's like chipotle. They used to stuff it with food, now it's barely over half. Incredibly disappointed but the food is good
