Got the number 1 with egg noodles and rice noodle added. This spot made me excited to get a taste of simple and tasty viet/Chinese noodle soup. 4.5/5 this spot is awesome!

My favorite bowl of noodles, been coming here for years growing up. I always get number 5 with big egg noodle, soup on the side, and some char kway.

This is one of the best Noodle Houses in LA I have ever tried since I started my studies here in the U.S. and I will always tell my friends you know the food is bussin when there is a shrine when you enter a Chinese/Viet/Thai restaurant as the food is served with a taste of culture. The vibe of the restaurant takes you back to your favorite southeast asian hometown and makes you feel nostalgic as you reminisce eating noodles with your family. Now for my recommendation you must try the number 1 thick egg noodle with soup on the side or number 48 with soup on the side. You could also request grilled onion which in my opinion one of the most delicious toppings you could add to the noodles. My family likes to order other things in the menu with different styled noodles and it is worth to experiment everytime you go there as it is fairly affordable noodles in comparison to other places in California. I highly recommend it and it’s one of the most delicious places to visit and eat if you miss home or want to try and experience true asian cuisine

tasty noodles. the cuisine is a mixture of Vietnamese/Cambodian/Teochew and is rather unique in the area. I prefer the noodle dishes here when comparing to KimTar's noodle dishes. They use the thick shitake mushrooms. 花菇. Excellent taste and texture.

My favorite place for noodles here in SGV - hands down! Quality food and the friendliest service. I’ve been coming here since they were on Valley Blvd and I still find myself coming back over and over.

Tried the beef stew with the egg noodles. Had very good flavors. The food portions were big this bowl will definitely fill you up. The beef was tender and tasty. I highly recommend the beef stew. Good prices too.

Service was great. Ample parking. They make noodle soups and they are good at it. Their fried Chinesse "doughnut" is freshly made in house and deliciously addicting.

Mein Nghia in Rosemead delivers food that’s not only delicious but deeply nostalgic. It reminds you of classic, home-cooked meals—warm, comforting, and made with care. Everything tastes authentic and familiar in the best way. The food is flavorful, authentic, and consistently well prepared. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. On top of that, their Vietnamese coffee is outstanding—strong, smooth, and perfectly balanced. This place never disappoints.

Best noodles around. Go for the 47. Thin egg noodles and if you are feeling fancy get wontons and dumplings!

This is the best noodle dish I’ve ever had—absolutely worth every penny, or rather, it’s a fantastic deal! The owner is amazing, never fussy about tips. Whatever amount you give, they always respond with a friendly “thank you.” I highly recommend this noodle shop. Every time I pass by, I make sure to stop in for a bowl of their “Prawn Noodles” with a side of “Chicken Offal.” I truly hope the business thrives and stays open for a long time!

Wanted to do an update, still love the food here. They mentioned that they just started to accept credit cards! Quite nice addition, you would just need to let them know how much tip (if you dining in). The food and most importantly peppers and chili oil, was just as good as before. I usually get the “Mi Wong” which is a combo of the rice and egg noodle, that has bbq pork, shrimp inside. I asked for the dry version but ended up getting the soup version. I still liked it but would have preferred the dry noodle due to the heat. Also enjoyed the ice tea they give, and the Hainan Chicken. Just wished a place like this existed more towards the inland empire. Will be back soon! Until then!

Mien Nghia Restaurant serves a special two-toned noodle soup, combining white and egg noodles, in a broth made from pork bones and organ. Plus a spoonful of their ginger-garlic vinegar sauce makes the flavor truly unique. The bowl comes topped with pork, shrimp, ground pork, crunchy gau choy (Chinese chives), and bean sprouts—making this dish, called Mi, hard to come by these days. The only downside is that the pork is dyed red with food coloring; in my opinion, leaving it natural or marinated would take it to the next level.

No frills Vietnamese place for morning noodle which is piping hot 🔥. Opens at 7am, this is one of the very few breakfast place in San Gabriel Valley. Taste good.

I typed in “hu tieu” in Yelp and this place popped up. There’s plenty of parking to the left of the building, while the right side was reserved for outdoor dining. I walked in the front door and said I wanted to dine-in. The guy said have a seat at the table and call him when ready to order. So we went to seat ourselves and on the table, had a little note that said when you’re ready to order, please call this phone number. That the menu could be viewed electronically on Yelp, inside on the wall, or printed paper menu at the entrance. We weren’t satisfied with the paper menu so we went back inside. The official menu on the wall had more pages with photos. The first page showed the types of noodles offered like large or small rice noodles, thin or thick egg noodles, and other types. We then proceeded back out to take a seat and then the food was brought to us in a bag with take out containers. I thought it was odd that the broth was in a separate container and you pour in the broth yourself into to the bowl. Condiments, garnishes, and veggies were all in sandwich bags. Oh prior to food coming out, we got served Chinese long doughnut. The portions were huge! My mom and I shared one soup broth container between the two of us. My mom got the hu tieu combo plus liver and I got mi (egg noodles) with char siu and wonton. My mom loved her meal and said it resembles Vietnam and how much she enjoyed it that she finished it all. For me, I enjoyed it. The broth was clear, not too sweet or salty, didn’t taste any msg. The portion was too much for me and I had to take the rest home. After we finished, we went back inside to pay the bill. I would think people have dine and dashed if payment is not taken beforehand since everything is in take out containers.

Ate the Pho Tai here. Pretty good. Meat is a bit tough and not tender though. If you are a big eater, you may want to order extra noodles. Free ice or hot tea. Pretty good tea. Service is quick. Been here three times and all three times the food came out quickly.

Great authentic noodle place. Not more to say other than it is cash and all the noodle soups are pretty good.

Easy and fast Quality of food has become deplorable. The meat in the soup is low quality and not marinated. Noodles taste like from frozen food. The taste is gone.
