I went to Farina’s on Monday for dinner—this was my second visit—and once again, it did not disappoint. This time I ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs. I chose the half portion since I wasn’t very hungry, and it was honestly the perfect size. It even comes with a salad, which was a nice bonus. Everything was absolutely delicious. I loved the flavors, and the quality really stood out. I’ll definitely keep coming back to work my way through the rest of the menu!

The food was delicious! Good service. Great place up catch up with a friend. I usually don't like the way restaurants do tomato soup but theirs was perfect! They make a great muffaletta!

Nice place for a glass of wine. Seating on the front sidewalk or back patio, which is a little more private. Bruschetta was tasty and the wine is good. The hubby love the Peach Bellini and Sangria swirl. We always plan a stop at Farina's when we visit downtown Grapvine. Our Corgi loves it too.

Sat at the bar. Had a nice waitress/bartender. Get the wine in the blue bottle from Italy. I know that's vague but it was really good. Wife and I had the meatball app (was great, sauce was amazing) and the meat/cheese tray. Ask for extra of the fig jelly. It was perfect addition to the meal!

Went to Farinas last night in the midst of the Grapevine Christmas chaos! It was extremely busy but their service was fabulous. Kimberly was our bartender and she checked back with us continuously! Very hard working, polite and fun. The manager, Will, was helping all around his staff wherever he was needed - even clearing tables. Very impressive. And the entertainment…. Darren Williams was beyond great! Always a fun time! We did not eat there but the cocktails were very good!

The mushroom ravioli is amazing! Love that you can get a half portion of some of the dishes for when you aren't as hungry or also want to have a salad, appetizer, and/or dessert. Depending on the time of year they may have a wait or you need a reservation for prime time dinner Friday and Saturday nights so plan ahead. While they don't have a full bar, just beer & wine, they have a broad selection of wines by the glass and reasonably priced bottles of wine. Great food that's very affordable in cute historic Grapevine. Always had great service from kind staff. Will definitely be back again soon for some great Italian food.

It was a great time having lunch in Farina’s Winery and Cafe Grapevine. I love the decorations most. I felt so special when I enter here. It was my first time but I was really impressed with everything. I love the atmosphere, our server was so sweet. We were there for almost 2 hours but nobody tried to bother us. We were so comfortable and having fun drinking wine and talking. Highly recommended to everyone this place.

Farina’s Cafe and Winery in Grapevine, Texas, is such a gem! The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, making it the perfect spot to unwind with great food and a glass of wine. The menu is full of delicious options, and everything we tried was fantastic. The charm of Grapevine itself only adds to the experience—such a cool town with so much character. Definitely a must-visit for good vibes, tasty bites, and a great time!

Perfect spot for a holiday dinner with friends! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with lovely holiday decor. The dinner was delicious, complemented with a great wine selection that paired perfectly with the meal. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. Great memorable experience.

We went for dinner during The Christmas holiday just for their amazing decorations. They were so festive and fun! The food was good, but we were given our wine, which was delicious in glasses that in no way could have been washed. Lip prints all over and finger prints.

The food was okay. The appetizers were good, but the meals were just okay. Service was great, as was the pineapple upside down mimosa. I had the chicken marsala; I wasn't a fan. I tasted the chicken parm, which was fairly good. I may go back to try the fish.

Dined here last night and I thought it was good. Definitely American Italian food (emphasis on American) so just keep that in mind. However they have a few different options like burgers and sandwiches which I feel adds a nice depth beside the pasta and flatbread pizzas you can get. My mom got the turkey club and creamy potato soup which she loved! We shared the bruschetta, which was really good. It had a nice sun-dried tomato pesto topped with fresh basil and tomatoes. I got the half portion Baked Lasagna, which is said to be their family recipe, with a side of tomato soup. I loved the soup and the lasagna was really good too! Service was great.

Nice rustic restaurant and bar that is eclectic at best in decorations...a rock and roll theme wall. Jourdan was our server and was absolutely delightful. Her pleasant attitude and smile brightens any day and is a great start to a meal. She gave great service and recommendations. Appears to be a nice appetizer spead...but we went to the entree after looking at all the food that comes with the meal. We both got the salmon piccatta. I had the tomato basil soup...excellent and my wife had the potato and sausage another good choice. Finisher was the chocolate cake.

Beautiful old building with an old, deep rich historic vibe. Chose to stop on way home from airport. Sat in their open air patio on a weekday evening. (Was painfully bitten by mosquitoes while there; be warned.) They have a beautiful fireplace. That said, the waitress was spread between in and outside so it was impossible for her to provide excellent service to anyone. Shame on ownership! The wine was just ok.

Farina’s is located in the heart of historic downtown Grapevine. It is housed in a pre-World War I building which offers a lot of charm. Upon entering, the space may be small but there are plenty of overflow spaces including a party room and a large, partially shaded patio in the back. On Saturday and Sunday, Farina’s is open for brunch from 10-1. Having never sampled their brunch offerings, we made a recent trip only to have a most underwhelming experience. I found it interestingly strange that there were no other guests dining when we were there. We arrived right at 10 am. We were greeted by a friendly young woman upon entering and seated promptly. We found the brunch menu to be quite short, which did not bother us. It is interesting, however, that the other neighboring restaurants on Main Street that serve brunch have many other offerings. We ordered a raspberry mimosa. Neither of us had ever had raspberry in our champagne. Thinking it might be from raspberry puree, the server brought out two glasses of champagne and one glass of raspberry lemonade. Any connoisseur of mimosas and most mixologists and barkeepers know this should never be an offering. Farina’s needs to rethink their mimosa choices and be in better alignment with other competitive restaurants who offer better choices. And more importantly, the champagne that was served was subpar. It lacked flavor and tasted a little flat. For a restaurant that touts itself as a winery, the mark was truly missed at this juncture. The food that was ordered was much to our surprise lacking in flavor as well as presentation. The Caprese toast was nothing more than a crustini that was quite small and seemed more like a margherita pizza. The bacon was slightly burned. The chilequiles was unlike any other that we had ever tasted before - and not in a good way. If you order this dish, be prepared for it to have mozzarella cheese and spaghetti sauce instead of what you might be more used to, which is normally a Mexican dish. It was served on a plate instead of in a bowl as it normally is in most places. The taste was very strange and subpar at best. The ground meat that was added, did not seem freshly prepared, but seemed more like a prepackaged meat that was warmed and placed in the dish. When it arrived to the table, the dish was not hot. Overall, I think this could be a great little place for brunch, but there definitely needs to be several changes in order for Farina’s to achieve such notoriety. It definitely has potential, but it also has a way to go if it wants to truly match the competition in the area.

Definitely not the service we have come accustomed to over the years. Last few visits have been poor. Tonight our server was over it. Drone show night ,very busy. Don't come to work if too many people is over whelming for you. Meatballs were tough, like rubber. We wanted to order to go beverages take out to see the Drone show. Our server told us we could not do that without to go food. Again, this has not been a problem in the past. We typically visit farina's for every Grapevine event and we've never been told that we could not take beverages out. At the end of the day, this review would not have happened had the server had a better attitude. Our group will not be back.

Stopped in just to taste some wine with friends and service was horrendous. The glasses were disgusting with water spots and smudges on them. We got new glasses and you can tell they either got other glasses with smudges and spots they cleaned off or just wiped the ones we had either way glasses were gross. Wouldn't really matter if they were serving quality wine but when I can get the wine they serve from the actual vendors site for $15 but you are charging $40. The i ordered a soda, she left and came back later asking if we needed anything and I asked for my soda again and she acted as if that was the first time. We will not be returning but there are many other wineries to choose from so if all the many other ones close down and you have nothing better to choose from in a 500 mile radius then give it a try.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. Despite having a reservation, we were forced to stand in line for 20 minutes just to be seated. Before being seated, we asked to sit outside and were told no tables were clean. Instead of cleaning one of the available tables, they just dismissed us. This interaction was with a guy working the host stand. He had tattoos on his forearm and long, messy dark hair. What made this more frustrating is that once we reached the front of the line, we were told to wait behind the host stand, where we then watched larger parties get seated ahead of us, even though we had been waiting longer and had a reservation. Completely backwards. The front-of-house was total chaos. A bunch of people skipped the line entirely by going straight to the woman working behind the bar, and somehow got seated ahead of everyone else. Meanwhile, the person working the host stand kept changing, and it was painfully obvious no one knew who was next or what was going on. Once seated, it didn’t improve. There were no drink menus because they were “dirty,” and supposedly no clean tables because nothing had been wiped down, yet guests were still being sat. We then waited 10 minutes without a greeting, which caused us to miss happy hour altogether. No apology, no acknowledgment. To be clear, we arrived in the restaurant at 6:10 and happy hour ended at 6:30. Our waitress, a Hispanic woman with dark, curly hair, was extremely rude and dismissive. She acted annoyed any time we asked a question or made a request. She told us they were out of crab cakes, only for crab cakes to later be brought out, at which point she acted surprised, as if that inconsistency was normal. She also took forever to run our cards, completely disappearing for about 10 minutes. From where we were seated, it also appeared that two children were working in the kitchen, which was deeply concerning as a customer. Overall, the entire staff seemed irritated, rude, and uninterested in providing basic service. Every interaction felt like we were inconveniencing them simply by being there, and requests were met with excuses or attitude. This place is disorganized, poorly managed, and not worth the frustration. Farina’s seriously needs to get it together. I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I called on a Saturday to ask about any last-minute availability, knowing it was a long shot. The woman I spoke with reassured me that both the front and back patios would be open and that seating would be first-come, first-served. Had we been told they do not truly maintain a wait list, we would not have wasted our time coming by at all. When my group arrived around 5:30, we were met by an extremely rude host (male, long brown hair) who refused to put us on any sort of list. After I explained my earlier conversation and after multiple eye rolls he reluctantly said “fine,” wrote my number on a scrap of paper, and drew a dramatic line underneath it. We ultimately walked over to Esparza’s and had a great experience. Every restaurant in the area was busy, but their staff was welcoming and attentive. Unsurprisingly, we never received a call that a table was ready at Farina’s. Skip Farina’s and take your business elsewhere.

This place used to be so great to come through and enjoy a glass of wine on the back patio next to the fire but the way things are now is really disappointing. The staff went from being polite, kind, and happy to see you to rude and snide. No more bar out back for a quick walk up and the food has gone downhill as well.

My family and friends choose this place to dine in after walking for a while around grapevine. We entered it took like 5 minutes for us to get attended and seated, when we ordered the food took a while to be served to us. First problem was the food was served separately and not all together like one would usually expect, second we did not get silverware for everyone on our table and they did not noticed until we asked them twice, secondly the burgers my mom and brother ordered were cold and my moms fries were served separately by 10 minutes after she got her burger, and the cherri on top happened when we were served meatballs by themselves instead of the spaghetti and meatballs we had actually ordered, this however was an understandable and honest mistake from our server. It was 6 of us and the check came to be $120 plus $20 on tip, which’s an average price but I would say it was a little overpriced compared to the quality of the food we were served. I would not recommend anyone this place, there’s lots of better italian places out there with much better service and and quality of food.

Saturday Night 915pm. Sign said open yet attitude was closed. Waited at hostess stand for 14.5 mins till host came to say "kitchen closed." Meanwhile, 4 waiters and waitress standing around chatting give us the eye. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! Go anywhere else since a meal is ruined with a lousy atmosphere. STAY AWAY, THEY DO NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS!!!! Shameful. 4 other couples left as well, who were behind us in line.
