Daily specials are always a good deal. ~ if you are new to the local taqueria scene, know that basic burritos are Basic: beef means yummy shredded beef wrapped in a flour tortilla, nothing else.. just beef. That's what sides and the salsa bar are for... Just split the burrito and insert salsa, your side of beans and rice and maybe some hot carrots and eat it with a fork if you have to have your burrito gussied up ...or order off the burrito menu. Beyond that, Cal Burrito's price to value is a little bit better than the other places - but hey, everything is going up these days.

Love this place for lunch! I always feel I get my money's worth and the food is delicious. I grabbed Super Nachos with grilled chicken and it did not disappoint. If you dine-in they have a great salsa bar with chips. The staff are always friendly and the place is clean. They have daily specials that will help save a few dollars too! One of my favorites is the Wednesday California Burrito!

This is it! My final destination to my favorite Mexican food restaurant 😋 I gotta raise the roof and put my hands down... do the hokey pokey and turn myself back around 😅😂😂🤣 Yes I'm really that happy when I pick up my food from here. We have a #19 Combo Steak Fajita! I don't do beans or cheese so I order without them. The portion is excellent and the flavor is amazing and on point each time! I love the corn Tortilla that comes with my meal, so fresh and so moist. 😋

California Burrito has the most amazing child’s menu items; the kid’s baby burrito comes with beans rice and cheese with a drink for only $5.75 which is more than enough for a child. The three rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese was very tasty 😋 I would Recommend California burrito for their delicious food and great prices & great service! 🥤🍵🥑🧅🥩🍍🌽

I've ordered takeout here several times. I've tried asada, carnitas, chile verde, adobado and it's all good. Burritos are filling and they don't skimp on the meat!

Definitely filling portions, I added sourcream and it cost nearly $2! Flavors are pretty basic not really any special seasonings to stand out from other restaurants. The do serve pisole and tacos barrias which is a hard find and they are amazing. Customer service is amazing, friendly , and more than happy to deal with last minute additions and extras.

Make sure you check your receipt. This place is a scamming place. I ordered the number eight item for 895 and they charged me 1795. I came today to get a refund and it said scammers they would not provide a refund.

I normally get the same thing every time I come here. Breakfast burrito #24 no eggs, sub fajita veggies. It's great each time. This go round, I wanted to try their birria tacos. The flavor is amazing and they're large tacos but the meat is chucked not shredded like typical birria tacos. They build them for you and i would prefer to put my own onions and cilantro on. The rice is pretty bland but not horrible. The pico has no flavor at all. Like none. However, the green salsa is really good, not spicy. Service is always pleasant and quick!

I ordered a shredded chicken super burrito. I was excited until I took a few bites to get to the chicken. It literally looked and tasted like the canned chicken from Costco. Very disappointed. There was no seasoning, flavor, and the presentation was just despicable. I had higher hopes for this burrito place and it has failed to meet my expectations. I will not be going here again and I don’t recommend the shredded chicken anything to anybody that values a decent experience. The green salsa is okay, not any different than your typical green salsa. Could have been spicier to compensate for the lack of flavor of the burrito. Also, the shredded cheese was cold and solid instead of melted. Again, such a sad burrito for 15.99$. Definitely not authentic.

I came by and got food on Friday 5/10 and the food was awesome! Came by today May 16th and it was a completely different experience. I ordered some ground beef hard tacos on 5/10 and they and a good amount of fillings all in the taco and the tortillas were warm and crunchy. I ordered some ground beef hard tacos today and there was about a quarter of a thimble of beef, a few pieces of shredded cheese and nothing else and the lettuce was just thrown into the to go box and wasn't actually in any of the tacos and the shells were cold and soggy on the bottom. Check the schedule of who was working on 5/10 and have them re-train the staff that was working today 5/16.

I ordered a super burrito, the lady at the window gave me a burrito with potatoes on it. I ordered a super burrito with shredded chicken. She felt the need to give me what she wanted to give me. This burrito also has steak on it. This is unacceptable. I will never go there again. This has happened twice to me.

The meat is not good. I orders the super burrito and they should call it the super bean burrito. I’m not joking. All this time in business and they seem to be a low budget Taco Bell. Food sucks. Come and steal the salsa and take it to Taco Bell , it’s cheaper.

I ordered chicken enchiladas rice and beans, taquitos, and carne asada fries with an horchata. The food was good and the horchata was too but I found myself pulling out a piece of metal from my mouth after my third bite from my enchilada. That is why I have to give one star. Safety is my number one concern.

By far the WORST! Carne asada mini tacos so bland, so chewy and to say the least they were not warm. The service I felt rushed through the drive thru and the communication was as so HORRIBLE I will not be coming back here. First time for everything smh.

By far the worse Mexican restaurant I order carne asada tacos and got onion tacos with some meat in it and icicle taco shells and about 2 pieces of cilantro in each taco had to throw meat in a rice bowl from the house and even that’s cold and dry!!! Definitely don’t recommend

Worse carne asada fries ever. Not enough meat cannot identify what is on it. It’s all just a mess fries are big soft mush in a mystery muck sauce. I’d complain but I don’t want them to remake it. Ever

Is this the kind of carnitas that you used to give to your customers? It was my first time there and really, disgusting. I just asked for a quesadilla carnitas and it was made so fast, and like anyway. 😔 I didn't eat and lost my money Thanks for it!!!!!

I ordered 2 tacos with grilled chicken and I received shredded chicken. I ordered the Wednesday special burrito for 6$. The meat tasted old, , over and under cooked with pieces of raw meat. I threw all of it up. Neve again!
