I don’t go in Salado Bushes very often, I was hungry for tenders, normally I don’t care for their food or hungry. The general manager was working by herself, taking care of the drive-through customers and inside customers but still very friendly, and the food was good. I did not get her name, but thank you for serving with a positive attitude.
We came Saturday May 3rd around 6:30 Amber was an absolute sweetheart and the other gentleman (didn't catch his name) had fantastic service from both. And the food was delicious!
I love me some Bushes Chkn. I stopped in and had a two piece and roll, which was delicious. The best part of this experience was the customer service that I got from a young man named Daon. He was friendly and respectful to me, and the other customers that he assisted before and after me. I really enjoy kind, respectful young folk. I suggest you Drive By, and stop in this location. Lol
Stopped in for a carry out drink & tender roll. I was served quickly and courteously with a fresh tea and hot tender in my roll. Tried their dipping sauce for the 1st time and loved it. Would definitely stop by here again.
Went this afternoon for 2-6 pc tender meals and 1- 4pc tender meals, and one gallon of sweet tea. We had to wait a short while because they had to cook fresh tenders. Not a problem at all. But because we had to wait, the very gracious cashier added a few tenders to each meal. Service is getting much better ❤️
I stopped going here because we had tenders once and they were so hard it chipped my tooth. But my recent visit changed everything. Food was fresh, not to mention delicious, service was top notch outstanding, and the staff is exceptional! I understand it’s under new management, so awesome job new manager! Keep up the great work!! We will definitely be returning. 😊😊😊
Are food was amazing but the kids meal. has a cookie you get they had one flavor that is the only one I do not like.
Good fast food chicken, but the prices have skyrocketed. 8 dollars for a 2 piece and a roll is insane ! However the staff is super friendly.
Food was hot, fresh, tasty, and filling, but the batter on the chicken tenders wasn't as crunchy as it has been in the past. It would have been nice for them to provide me with a spoon for the coleslaw, a few napkins, and if they are now offering a 44 ounce drink, for it to come with more liquid than the regular size drink. Full to the brim with ice, and then add a splash of soda is not usually how I hope to get an extra large soda.
Live down the road in Jarrell and go to Bushes in Salado cause the used to cook to order the gizzards. I went yesterday and got what seem to be old gizzards ( they came out with them immediately) and the fries were cold. I won’t be going back.
The new chicken is awful. Bring back the old tenders!
Stopped in while on a road trip. There were not too many patrons inside the restaurant. The food was good, no complaints. The gravy was delicious. I tried eating it with the biscuits, but it was kind of bland. Did not pair well with the biscuits. Chicken was crispy and moist. The soft drinks were extremely sweet (the syrup/ water ratio is off). I can't say it was a bad experience this place is maybe more suitable for the locals.
Restroom was dirty, dining room dirty as well. Fries were cold, chicken was just warm. Employees seemed to be indifferent and not very positive.
Yikes. Pulled up at 8:20, online & door states they’re not closed until 10. Tell me why the chairs were up & the door was locked over an hour and a half early?
I normally go here and the service is always hit or miss, I won't be coming back this time. I just stood at the counter like an idiot for 10 minutes and nobody even acknowledged me the entire time, they just expected me to stand there for who knows how long. I just drove to a different location. WILL NOT BE BACK, BEAWARE
Absolutely horrible! Visiting from San Antonio and the place was dirty. Stood for about 10 minutes before anybody even acknowledged us, and there was only 1 person waiting for his food inside. Continued waiting till we just walked out!! I usually love Bush's chicken, but don't even attempt to go to the one in Salado. Absolutely horrible!!!!!
Came in tonight chicken was cold taste like burnt oil the yeast and the bread could definitely taste it. French fries or definitely dry and cold kids running around working here just seems like a fiasco definitely won't be coming back here again.
Terrible service food was cold. Fries were dry the grease taste very nasty and the chicken. This is not the first time this is all the time. I haven't been here in months and now I remember why they just need to shut this place down it's not worth it don't spend your money here that same McDonald's is better. These kids don't care about customer service. They just want to sit at the table and laugh. Very terrible place.
I was charged almost double my order, the girl that brought my order said the manager refunded me when he charged me another 11 and some change. I never got the refund and still pretty upset as this was a meal for me to get home after seeing my uncle in the ICU! Pretty upset as well as I don't live in that area so ill never be back to get my actual refund!
This meal was just plain gross! I ordered the 8 piece gizzard meal. When I bit into the second gizzard it tasted bitter and had grit in it. I spit it out on a napkin and upon examination I could see there was green mush in the gizzard and what looked like seeds. I picked up another one and when I tore it open it also had green grit in it! I threw the rest of the meal out. I saw the manager in his office and walked to the door to try to tell him about it. He just told me to get back in front of the counter. We left without comment with me rinsing that very bitter bile taste out of my mouth and spitting as we walked to the truck. I'm glad we have a Golden chick and a pop eyes close by. Other than the gross food, the staff was very pleasant and the place was clean.
