Capriceuno Salò Reviews
Can not unterstand the 3.8 rating (2025). We (five, three of them children) had lunch. Nice view, very good pizzas and reasonable prices. Service was very good as well, especially with the children.
The best restaurant on the promenade for sure! The char was phenomenal. My husband’s wagyu burger was delicious as well. Can’t be the view and the seating was very comfortable. Staff was pleasant as well which is not something we’ve found at the other restaurants the other 5 nights of dining prior. Warm focaccia was served as well and rolls and breadsticks. We plan on going back for dinner with the kids it was so pleasant.
Excellent grilled trout with roast vegetables and chips. Great and friendly service, nice wine and reasonable value.

Stopped here for a break and enjoyed fantastic service as well as an awesome wine. They have a pretty good selection so if you like wine, this is a good place to stop.

We visited the restaurant twice in a week and had always a good time. Nice service personnel, good food and nice view. It’s a place to enjoy lunch an get a drink with a view on the lake de Garda.

Great food, great view, and reasonably quick and attentive service. The bill ended up quite a lot more expensive than expected. Didn't study it in detail, but I'm assuming the drinks were rather expensive, as well as the breads that are always brought to the table. There was also a 13% service fee added on top if I remember correctly. So all in all, a good experience but prepare to pay almost double of the actual price of the food when you include non-alcoholic beverages and the fees.

I would eat somewhere else. Our waiter (Vincento) was angry and impatient, and did not do a very good hiding his bad mood. The food was ok; but not worth the price.
Overpriced. In addition to the main course (approx. 20-25 euros), you have to order the side dish separately (approx. 6-8 euros). As with other restaurants on the promenade, you mainly pay for the location on the lake. The quality of the food probably suffers from the fact that the location of the restaurant means that there are always customers there anyway. When you read the menu, the dishes sound very special. But what you get is somewhat disappointing (poor quality, little in quantity, no love). Would recommend something else.
Fairly basic food. I prefer English food to be honest and can't say any restaurant impressed me this time. U less you pay €80+ you get a fairly basic pizza pasta selection IMHO. The management were watching and the service was friendly but wasn't wowed
One very unfriendly and unmotivated woman working there. The food was ok, Pizza was good. We are staying 2 weeks and if a restaurant and service is good we come back but this restaurant will never see us again due to the bad service. Luckily there are plenty of other really good restaurants in Salò.
Unfortunately our experience here recently was not a good one. This is mostly due to our main server for the evening. While the other servers at the other tables seemed to be friendly and attentive, our server seemed to have a bad day. He was unfriendly, unmotivated and caused our evening to not be as enjoyable as we hoped for. (I don’t think it was us as we behaved nicely 😀)The lady that sometimes served our drinks was very nice and friendly. The food was actually not bad. Since there are many other nice restaurants in Salo, I can not really recommend this place and it will be a while before I go back for another try.
Very average food. 3 of us. 2 dishes were just about OK but one quite poor and tasted like tin food. High prices and they add 13% tip. The menu was very expensive and was hoping for more quality food. The dishes came out within 5 mins which concerned me a little so I think these are ready made to heat up. Shame really as Salo is a lovely area to visit
My husband and I visited this restaurant whilst on holiday for our Wedding Anniversary in Lake Garda. Everything was so rushed it was like a fast food service so no time to relax. As soon as we ord…
A poor experience to say the least, we were greeted by staff as normal, seated to a nicely sized table for 6 (we’re a party of 5) and we go to order, one of the people on our table wanted to order a caprese salad and some bresaola, the waiter gave a judgemental snappy response ( we presume it broke some Italian food laws) and said he couldn’t do that but if we wanted to order them separately he would be able to let that happen, from then on the waiter was quite rude and unpleasant. Three of us ordered pizzas, 1 the salad, 1 a burger I, had ordered a Fritto Misto pizza (seafood pizza). It arrived after a large delay between the burger and the salads, meaning they had nearly finished their food before ours even arrived. The fries were soft soggy and tasting like old grease, and my pizza arrived lukewarm at best with the cheese solid. My octopus was full of grit which hurt to eat ( so i removed the rest) and the squid was like rubber, the muscles and clams were cooked fine but became awkward as they came in the shell full of liquid meaning the pizza become more soggy than it already was. Overall a poor time wouldn’t suggest going off my experience but I can’t speak for others who maybe did have a good time 🤷🏼♂️
Terrible place, I strongly advise not to go there. The pizza was greasy and mediocre, moreover, the prices are quite high and the level of service leaves much to be desired, they charge 13% for a coperto and there is even no grissini and bread. Not to mention the fact that the waiter spilt a full glass of beer on my wife and then it was added to the bill anyway.
Worst service in Salò. The pizza was ok, although it's a shame to get canned, soggy mushrooms in fall, which is a mushroom season and especially this region is full of porcini. But the service was a total failure. Spending most of the time chatting, not noticing us. When we declined coffee we were served the bill and had the feeling that they wanted us out as soon as possible, even if we hadn't finished our drinks yet. There is much nicer places with better food and much nicer staff. Try Don Pedro just two doors away.
First time in my life in Italy someone said that I can’t order only drinks in restaurant because “it is restaurant”. The waiter said to us something like this so I went to manager of this place and asked her is it true. She said “no, you can order drinks if you want”. But I’m disappointed of the waiter and hope he will never treat anybody like us.
We wanted to enjoy the view with some Aperol and Espresso. Let alone the 13% service and the above average prices, waiters kept rushing us to order something from the restaurant. If you want to enjoy drinks on the lake, this is NOT the place for you.
I had a table on the patio with an excellent view. After I ordered, I was asked to move inside the restaurant because I was eating alone. They wanted to keep the patio tables for bigger groups that would bring in more money. I found the request ridiculous because the place was empty and there were plenty of tables. The service was quick, and my pizza was decent however.
