When a fast food service blows you away, you just need to share. We just had the best experience inside with our order coming out in almost no time with extra fries. And then an associated greeted our kids with coloring sheets and crayons which was an extra special treat on a long road trip. And as we were getting ready to leave they offered me a frappe that was never picked up and were so kind and genuine. So thank you McDonalds for great service and being amazing people!
Very good place to eat. Fast service and the workers were very nice, they told me to have an amazing night. The food was fresh and I got it very quickly despite how big my order was. I am definitely coming back.

Came in at a tough time, lady was yelling at staff that she was waiting for her order for 30 minutes ( it was right in front of her in the pick up station ) some guy barged in to the working area demanding a refund and staff handled it better than I ever would have getting him out of the work space and got him a refund ( very professional for a fast food place ) and through all that they kept a smile and my food came out timely, fresh and perfect. Mad respect to everyone working there for dealing so well with everything and also making good fast food.
Ron does an amazing job. He is a credit to the McDonald's experience. Please stop here after you have visited the large buffalo statue here in Jamestown. The whole staff is friendly. It's a good place to sit and study weather models while you're waiting on storms to fire. Bring the kids...
It's a fast food place, which inherently will not meet everyone's standards. But they consistently get my orders correct, regardless of how obnoxiously specific it can be. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. The waits can occasionally feel a bit ridiculous, but that will happen with a busy fast food restaurant that I'm sure struggles to acquire enough staff. The food has always been good and fresh for me. Removing the staffed registers in favor of automated ordering kiosks was a mistake in my opinion, especially since they don't take cash.
A long line of cars that the staff couldn't keep up with. Inside was no better. Ordered a strawberry shake, it was like strawberry milk. The chocolate shake was fine. Kiosk receipt paper was out so I had no idea what my order number was. This would be an ideal place to open a fast food restaurant... this one is anything but fast.
The last 3 times I’ve come to this location my food has taken 20+ minutes. One time was 35 minutes and there was only one other table in the store. When you ask about your order the managers don’t want to talk to you. if you wait patiently for help, you will be ignored. You have to grab someone’s attention and even then they just kind of look at you. Last time, half of our order came and then it took 3 more attempts at getting the rest of it before we had everything we ordered. Once again, management does not acknowledge the problem. It will be a long time before I go back to this McDonald’s.
Slowest drive through I have ever dealt with. Over 30 minutes waiting for one McChicken. Staff was very nice and apologetic. Upper management- you NEED to schedule more people at late night. It is absolutely unacceptable that you would put this stress to your staff! Do better.
We ordered breakfast around 1030. Asked for a number 7 with a hot tea and a number 6 meal just no drink. We were given a hot coffee (I can't drink regular coffee), was told McDonald's doesn't carry tea anymore and only got a sandwich for the number 6. They did give us a bottle of water instead of the tea. Your website shows you still offer tea, if this store was out this should have been communicated before we got to the window.
Passing through town and we swung in for lunch as it was right off the interstate. Ordered at the kiosk and sat down with kids. It wasnt crazy busy but we waited an incredibly long time before food came out, and on top of the wait, they missed a LOT of items from the order. Didn't give any dipping sauces we asked for. Didn't give us a chocolate milk we ordered. Didn't give us one of the order of nuggets we ordered. One of my kids asked for extra pickles and no onions on his burger and they missed both those requests. I had to go back the counter over and over for all they missed. Very disappointing. Only saving grace is they kept apologizing.
wait 37 minutes in a lobby after placing my order for my order to never come. Spoke with staff got food then quarter pounder and fries are cold… I usually don’t put bad reviews but hoping managers see this and make the changes necessary to fix this store. Your self serve kiosk is out of receipt paper currently btw.
It took an 1 hour 15 minutes to get served 2 fish fillet sandwiches, the first ½ was NOT THEIR fault. The last 45 minutes was their fault. . By the time I was at the window for my food it was ¾ of an hour. They were waiting for my fillet sandwiches. I pulled up into the waiting area. ½ passed and I was irritated. The manager stated they were getting ready for breakfast and forgot about my sandwichew. They should have comped them because they were COLD
I went through drive thru lane on Sunday night, January 11 8:30 pm. Order went fine, very polite lady took order and was great. Then we sat for 10 minutes after pay window. Then another 5 minutes at 2nd window to get drinks. Then told to drive ahead and wait. 10 more minutes to have them bring WRONG order and then LAUGH about it. There were 3 cars ahead of us and about 5 more in lot. When we got our order (burgers were ok, fries cold, and nuggets rock hard). Absolutely the worst franchise in state. Need to be trained by McDonald’s on expressway in Bismarck or the one on Demers in Grand Forks.
On 10/29/25, I placed a mobile order for this location which was a small vanilla ice cream cone. I have arrived at 09:45 pm and was STILL waiting for this order to come out for a curbside pickup at 10:15 pm. This deserves a 1 star review and a customer that will take their money elsewhere.
Took the workers 30 minutes to get me my food with only 3 cars in the drive through. Never been to a McDonalds this slow ever. 3 cars ending up leaving the drive through due to how slow it was.
Over 30 minutes and im still currently sitting in drive thru. Watched an entire drive through line go by me. When I went in to ask what was happening the response I got was....."nuggets" 0 stars
I’m standing here waiting on a gentleman who’s been waiting 30 minutes for their order. Just for them to be forgotten and not even their order is right. This place doesn’t belong if they can’t even put basic condiments on their food. This sign is a huge lie, seeing as you’ve comped my meal several times. Utterly ridiculous and shameful business practices. I’d avoid this restaurant if your order includes anything more then a cup of water, even then I hesitate.
Twice in the last month sitting in the drive thru waiting on my order, employees kept bringing the wrong orders to me, 3-4 cars behind me got their orders, again employees would bring out more orders and ask me it they are mine I responded no, had to go inside talk to a manager said where is my order, still waited like 15 minutes inside before they figured it out! Management needs to control that process better. I’ve heard there was alot bad review about this location, will be along time before I visit this location again!!!
Service felt isolated. Counter staff was nice to the elderly couple and then the single parent that came in after us. Ignored myself and partner, and since we only had cash (being from out of state) we were not helped at the counter. So, we left.
I waited over 50 minutes for two kids’ chicken nugget meals after being asked to pull forward — and I was nearly first in line when I arrived. Car after car came and went while I sat there, ignored. I called the store and was told my order was “almost ready,” but nothing happened for nearly an hour. If I had known it would take this long, I would’ve gone somewhere actually worth the wait. This was beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable for such a simple order. If you're in a rush, avoid this place. If you're not in a rush, still — go somewhere that values your time and business. Very disappointed.
Went through the drive thru and there was a line of five or six cars that were waiting for their orders. The first car waited 30 minutes before going in to get a refund. I was there for 15 before I did the same. Horrible service. Will not be back.
Every time I use the drive-thru they overstuff my bag. They hand me open bags with french fries pouring out of their box because they lay them on top. Needless to say the fries are cold because I can't close the bag. Today the young man at the second window handed me one (1) bag with three (3) meals in it. He said "Be careful, the bottom of the bag is ripped open." What ever happened to following procedure? All bags must be double folded and presented to the customer with the fold away from them. Also, anytime I say something about problems with service they look at me like a deer in headlights. The management needs to do better when it comes to training. The staff makes at least $15 an hour. I don't expect perfection but I do expect to make it home with my order not falling out of my bag and fries that are at least warm.
I went in with my cousin worker and we ordered our food separately but sat in the same booth. The food was as good as to be expected. My coworker got his food delivered to the table first. A few minutes later I saw a young blonde girl come walk right by me and I noticed that was my food. As she got a few booths away I said again that order was mine. And the woman in the booth noticed and laughed as the employee walked away towards other tables. Everyone sitting had food except for me. And when I called for the girls attention a few times she finally noticed me. And when I told he that was mine she said it wasn't. It was exactly what I ordered...I even held up the receipt I have the receipt for that. She still doubted me. She finally looked at the receipt and gave me my food. I still had to go up and ask for the Sweet Iced Tea I ordered.
I hope it was just a bad night, but we waited 30 minutes for a simple order. Unacceptable for any fast food of any kind. I hope this review will lead to better customer service.
Jamestown North Dakota McDonald's closes at 11. My boyfriend and I got there at 10:30 a whole 30 minute before they close. I don't get off of work untill 10 so that why we went late, we also live on the other side of town from McDonald's. We finally get to the speaker box at 10:51 the lady was nice but told us that the Gernal Manger was calling them, telling them to close witch, I don't think was right Considering we got there as soon as we could. They main reason why they won't take our order is because of course only 2 people were working. I understand some people don't want to work/can't work, but come on. I firmly believe every place should have more then 2 people working because of people like myself that work late and just want a nice McDonald's treat/meal. Would I go back to this McDonald's yes I would but it's so sad that they can't have at least 4 people work untill close and very sad and rude that we nicely waited 20 minutes and was told that they would not take our order. I was even going to give them a tip. Sorry this is so long.
Went to McDonald’s. Didn’t get correct order. Came back and they were closed but 3 separate people saw us and ignored us due to closing time. Came out with a coupon as remedy because he closed till in front of us while ignoring us. The one sandwich we did get from our order was not even a sandwich. A deluxe mccrispy had nothing on it and no bun! Just two chicken patties.
