It was a quiet place, although the music wasn't to my liking. The food was good, and the prices are understandable for that type of place, especially since it's seafood. The fact that tips are in cash leaves much to be desired, but oh well. I admit the service was very good, so I didn't hesitate to leave a tip; I just don't like handling cash. As for the food, it was very good, but they should be careful with the salt, and I hope they improve the children's area. Even so, it's a good place, the food is tasty, and the service is very good and helpful.
One of the few places of Saltillo Coahuila Mexico where you can really have a great meal and service!!!!
A review from a foreigner living in Saltillo. Atmosphere - Incredible interior and exterior layout. Aesthetic interior with lots of lighting and a beach hut-like setup outdoors. Large screens for soccer matches. A decent play area for children. Food - Extensive menu with all kinds of seafood and seafood cocktails. Everything for an avid seafood lover. Refreshing cocktails. Taste - Delicious and authentic flavor, good portion sizes, and decent, ungammable presentation. Service and Staff - The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service was a bit slow, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.
We went to Jaibos to celebrate a birthday and were surprised by the excellent service and attention. Everything was delicious, the shrimp trilogy was 10/10. We just went on a day with low temperatures and thought it was missing a space heater; it was super cold! ❄️🥶Other than that, highly recommended! 👌🏻
Jaibo's is a very attractive, large restaurant with a tropical style and open, spacious areas. The food they offer is fresh, plentiful, and very flavorful. The mixed seafood soup was finger-licking good, and the shrimp cocktail was perfectly cooked—large and tasty. The customer service was friendly, efficient, and professional. Everything was very clean, including the restrooms. Their prices are good. If you're looking for a place to have a good time, this is the place for you. We'll be back!
A wide variety of dishes, all very tasty. The service was also very good, and the wait time for the food was very short. Overall, the service and attention were excellent. In my personal opinion, the only thing I didn't like was that they practically demanded a percentage tip. I usually tip, but I don't think it's appropriate to "suggest" a certain percentage. Other than that, everything was great, and I definitely recommend it.
The food is delicious and well-served, although the portions are very large. A dish advertised for one person could easily be served for two. The broths are enormous, the tostadas are served overflowing with ceviche, and the molcajetes with shrimp or tuna are filling.
Muy lentos par atender, me llevaron el codo de pescado frío, la torre de mariscos muy bien.
Double-check the prices on the menu, as they vary depending on the time of day. I also suggest carefully reading the ingredient lists, as the consommé is literally just broth with no vegetables, seafood, or any other ingredients. The seafood cocktail tastes like surimi. Previously, the service was excellent, but this week was a huge disappointment.
I used to really enjoy the generous portions. But now they've changed the menu, and the portions are nothing like they used to be. The band was great. The waiter was attentive, but in the end, he wanted to charge me 350 pesos as a tip. That's wrong. I'll give you what you think is fair for your service. They should be paid their wages, not have us, the customers, foot the bill. I was disappointed, and that's why they lost me as a customer.
It wasn't at all what I expected. We arrived around 9:30 pm (understandably, the waiters were perhaps a little tired or annoyed due to the schedule). The complimentary portions of salsa and tortilla chips were too meager. My son asked for ketchup and was served a very small portion. The aguachile, although very spicy, was very tasty. The Louisiana shrimp (very expensive for what they advertise) only came with 8 shrimp, and the rest was pure crab claws, which didn't even have seafood claws to crack. I spent the whole time like I was cracking nuts. In short, the place is nice. I imagine everything is delicious except for those 400-peso "Louisiana shrimp," and the least they serve is shrimp.
I don't recommend this place. They don't have what's advertised on the menu, you wait over an hour for your food despite it being quiet, and when it finally arrives, you realize they've brought you something different from what you ordered.
I'm not lying when I say that the only good thing about this restaurant is the location. The service was terrible; it took an hour to bring two dishes, and both were wrong. The food was okay, all things considered, but there are many better places in terms of service. They tried to be nice by giving us complimentary broth "for the wait," but even that was awful—a measly soup with three vegetables, and that was it. Avoid wasting your money at this place; go somewhere else for some decent seafood.
There are several Jaibo's restaurants in the city. Honestly, I'd never been before, but we decided to give it a try, and this was our experience. The dishes are expensive for what they offer. There's no value for money. The flavor was poor, and the dishes were bland. We ordered Jaibo's consommé, and it was practically just water with habanero peppers. The glasses were poorly washed (we ordered lemonade, and it had chili residue in it). The seats were considerably dirty; they desperately need to be washed and disinfected. We ordered octopus; the portion was very good, but again, it was bland and undercooked. They don't have an exhaust fan, so you leave there smelling like smoke. I had to go back and shower because I came out completely smoky. A total disappointment. The waiter was very friendly throughout. I absolutely do not recommend this place for a meal. Although it's not advertised as a sports bar, I think it's more of a place to drink, regardless of how bad the food is. It's not worth it; I won't be returning. They accept cash and card payments. Tipping is suggested, not required.
The tables outside look dirty and neglected. The shrimp cocktail was too sweet, some shrimp were unpeeled, and the taste was off, the presentation was poor. Prices are high. They also include the service charge on the bill as if it were mandatory. (Tipping should be optional, and one is even happy to give one. It's not obligatory.) I don't recommend this place.
