This place is a hidden jem! Im so glad I found this restaurant since there are so many around and it can be a bit overwhelming to find an actual good place, but this was it. The servers are very attentive especially Carlos, who was the one taking care of us. The food is literally exactly as the pictures on the menu! and it tastes so good! We love that its a fusion of colombian, venezuelan and mexican dishes. The variety of food is amazing and you’ll want to order everything :)

Juan G was amazing! From the moment we arrived, he provided outstanding customer service and made us feel so welcomed. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient while explaining the menu, making sure we understood the different options and helping us choose what would be best. You can tell he truly cares about creating a great experience for his guests. Everything felt smooth and enjoyable thanks to him. The food was so good too!

What a great place! Gorgeously decorated, delicious well-priced food, conversationally quiet, very friendly and attentive service. Both the Manager Angel and our server Carlos G checked on us multiple times, the food was delicious and well portioned. I highly recommend, a great Latina American brunch spot. We were seated immediately, atmosphere was very nice, the food was delicious, I had the Lomo Provenza and a Pistachio Latte with Oatmilk.

It was our first time here. We noticed they were a little short-staffed; however, I was happy to see how everyone was helping each other with an excellent attitude. I say this because when you go to a restaurant, the food is very important, but the vibe and customer service also play a big part in helping you feel comfortable so you can truly enjoy the experience. Nicolas was our server, and Mateo also helped us. Both provided excellent customer service. It’s so nice to go to a place where you can see people doing their best and treating everyone with respect and a smile. I really recommend this place excellent environment, good food, and outstanding customer service. 100 points to Nicolas and Mateo!

This was my second visit to this awesome restaurant. Today I went here with 2 other friends and the both enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Our server, Francisco was friendly and although busy, didn't neglect our table. I had the picanha steak that was tender and juicy . It is served with 2 sides. My friend had the seafood rice that when I took a taste, melted in my mouth. My other friend had the tacos that was just the right amount. They also have a fully stocked bar and can accommodate any drink order. Overall this is a delightful place to have an enjoyable dinner experience.

Bossa nova music is a nice touch. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms; honestly, I felt very comfortable changing my baby there. Food Blackberry juice with milk: very rich, tasty, very refreshing. The milk definitely complements the juice nicely without overpowering it, striking the right balance of fruity and creamy flavor. Lentil soup: very well done, super hearty, they were not selfish with the beans. I love that they added a bit of shredded pork, which gave it a nice kick of flavor and texture. I recommend. Latin Luka: my God, this was such a great burger. I was really worried because, since this burger comes with chicharrón, I thought the pork in it would overpower the burger itself. However, it only added flavor. Not to mention, the house sauce with a dash of lime gave it this unique flavor that really had me in a bind. Service: our waiter Francisco was such a delight. He gave us great insight on each of the menu items we asked about, which is another thing I appreciate. Hospitality is something I value greatly in waiters. He was very attentive to us and made sure our experience was an unforgettable one. I will be returning to try more of their wonderful menu.

Amazing find in plantation. I have driven hundreds of times by this shopping center and never thought of stopping by at Luke’s. Turns out it’s an amazing Colombian/Venezuelan restaurant serving amazing plates and drinks. Service by Nico, the hostess and the rest of the crew was great. Prices are a high and they added gratiity automatically (plus they asked for more at checkout). The coffee was really good but also overpriced. If the prices were lower this place would perfect.

It is a great place to go to. I had the cachapa with ropa vieja and Maduro and it was very good! We also had the risotto with beef and it was very good. The only problem was I think the food takes too long to be served. If you are going to eat appetizers make sure you order a small main course. Loved the service, very welcoming and always checking you are good. A little pricey for certain items. Recommend to go this place but not during busy hours. The pistachio coffee was the best!!!!!

I went with some friends, the place is easy to find, the food is good, the restaurant it's a colombian-velezuelan fusion, it's quiet, they also have natural juices, really good coffee, and some discounts in online orders 😉

Came in for the first time on a Sunday for brunch. The place was packed! I love the decoration and the overall vibes. For the drinks we had the pistachio latte and a coconut lemonade. Both drinks were great. The mini Colombian empanadas we had to start were delicious as well. For main we had the Luka ranchero which I was not a fan but it wan personal taste nothing wrong with the dish. And the lomo recalentado which it was delicious. Now the staff seemed to be short staffed and overwhelmed. Drinks and dishes took forever. I will visit back during lunch or dinner

The food is really good, even though its a bit pricey. I am a recurring customer. Unfortunately, this is the second time I’ve ordered a side of papa criolla and received only 5 small potatoes. It’s more than $9 for this, so the portion feels unfair. The first time, a manager apologized and said the cook was new. Now I’m being told this is the standard portion. The inconsistency is disappointing.

I was so disappointed, as I raved about the dish I took home to my husband and.. Only reason for the 3 stars was not for our dinner in the restaurant, it was for my experience with the to go order. I didn't like the experience it felt off. Service felt like forced, pushing us to order, but then waiter just disappear. Food was good, burgers were really great, but as a regular burger that cost $24 in a not premium place, you should at least include the fries. Also, when they brought water, straws where cut in half so you barley can use them. The atmosphere was more like a bar than a restaurant, very dark and loud music... Good for a bar. When I was about to pay, I notice that a 18% tip was included in the bill, but then when I was about to tap my card, an extra tip was asked... Did not like the place, not recommending it.

I am extremely disappointed by my experience at Luka in Plantation. I went with two friends — we are all Black women — and from the moment we sat down, something felt off. The management team kept watching our table the entire time. Not casually glancing — watching. It made us uncomfortable. We ordered bowls with steak, and the food was honestly terrible. The steak was tough, overcooked, and difficult to chew. All three of us said the same thing. When we mentioned it to our server (who was kind and clearly doing her best), she told us, “Unfortunately, this is how it is.” That response alone was unacceptable. Then I asked to speak with a manager. There were two managers present — one woman sitting in the corner on a laptop the entire time and a male manager who was openly correcting staff. I was told no manager speaks English. In Plantation, that is a serious issue. Guests deserve to communicate concerns clearly with leadership. When I approached the male manager, he could not hold a basic conversation about the issue. There was no apology, no attempt to fix the meal, no effort to resolve anything. The energy felt dismissive and cold. Meanwhile, the staff looked exhausted and tense, like they were walking on eggshells. It did not feel welcoming. It felt uncomfortable. As a customer, you know when you feel unwelcome. And that is exactly how we felt. There are too many good restaurants in this area to spend money somewhere that delivers poor food, poor leadership, and an uncomfortable atmosphere. I will not be returning
