The food at McAlister’s Deli is always good and delicious. There usually isn’t too long of a wait, and even when it seems busy or a little stressful, the staff always stays friendly and has a smile on their faces. That kind of consistency really makes a difference. The tea is amazing every single time. I definitely recommend getting the Tea Pass, especially if you go more than twice a month like I do — you’ll absolutely get your money’s worth. My personal favorite is either the Club Sandwich or one of their spuds. I especially enjoy the Veggie Spud. The store is always clean, and the atmosphere feels welcoming. Even when the line takes a few extra minutes, it’s never unreasonably long and moves at a steady pace. Overall, it’s a great spot in San Angelo that I highly recommend.

Usual corporate restaurant spot so you pretty much know what you're getting into going in. It's a great place to eat and chat with friends. Food is pretty consistent at this location. Ordering our food from Stephanie was a delight she was super sweet. The big question is would I bring my grandma here? The answer is no she has dementia and probably would make a scene. But would I bring my family here? Yes.

My family and I stopped by upon our arrival in San Angelo. We found that the dining room was very clean and appreciated that we were immediately greeted by Saul. He remained attentive throughout our experience there and made sure our food was correct and hot. Thanks to Saul, we’ll definitely make this location our go to when in town.

This is a great McAlister's for us. Too many choices. We ordered two nachos and a veggie sandwich with chili. We also got a sweet tea and a Dr. Pepper. Everything tasted great and when we needed a refill there was no hesitation on the part of McAlister's to provide a refill whether it was on tea or cheese for the nachos. The bathroom was clean and everything in working order. It was not overly busy but busy enough to know that they do good business. I would go back. I recommend them. One last item, if you're looking for a Bilt restaurant, this and the other McAlister's in San Angelo both qualify. At least they did today.

My new favorite McAlister’s!!! I had ordered delivery on the app and there was a mix up with the 3rd party delivery companies so it took longer to get my food but they went over and beyond to make up for it even though it wasn’t their fault! They took care of me!! They remade my order fresh and hooked me up with extra tea, extra chips, extra cookies, and to top it off, even an extra pickle!! So grateful for their friendly service and awesome management!!

Update: nov 2023 good sandwich but am choking on the cost. Sandwich chips drink $15.23. Was it worth it? Yes and no. Food was good. Order was correct which is a big positive these days. But....fans are on and it is freezing in here. Maybe less AC and food cost less? My tea was $4.18. That is quite a profit. Will probably go elsewhere from now on. Update: sept 2023 had a wonderful meal with friends tonight. The soup is really excellent. It is not too salty and flavorful. Also enjoyed my Italian sandwich. I definitely recommend this deli for a quick good meal at a fair price. Wow what a difference a location can make! This McAllisters is wonderful! I had a super friendly guy take my order and he gave me solid recommendations on an Italian sandwich and peach flavored sweet tea. I chose to come here because they have tables outside and I could bring my dog. We enjoyed the experience very much. Food was great and we will be back. I think this may be one of the only dog friendly places in San Angelo.

The McAllister Club is an amazing sandwich. The restaurant was very clean and the employees were very polite. We didn't have to wait for very long for our food to arrive. When they brought out my food they had given me the wrong side but the gentleman that brought it to us was very quick to replace it with what I had ordered.

We love McAllister's because they have TONS of healthy food options and it's all delicious. Our kids enjoy it as well! My favorite is their broccoli cheddar bread bowl, my husband loves their sandwiches and my kiddos like their mac and cheese (and their cookies haha). The place is always nice and very clean, the service is quick and everything is always delicious.

Nice place for a quick, healthy lunch. The portions are huge, so keep that in mind when you order. I got the half vegetable bagged potato, which is actual a whole medium potato. It was tasty.
