Chopsticks Chinese Buffet San Antonio Reviews
Don't let the campy name fool you. This is a legit establishment with both excellent chinese-american cuisine and Mexican cuisine. The hidden secret is their freshly grilled steak. For $12.99 lunch, this place is a steal. Plus, you can get their handcrafted cocktails at a fraction of the price compared to anywhere else. Every dish that I had, including the salad, was either decent at least or excellent. I'm not sure how other people gave this restaurant less than four Stars. Skip the lines at the riverwalk and come here!!
Always go to this restaurant when I'm in town on business great price, food always good great service.
For a Chinese buffet it's great. Sure the place is dated. But honestly what one isnt? The foods good. I was able to hit up the kitchen and it was clean. Everything was clean! They had a great mix of food. Definitely will come back.
Haven't been here since I was a kid. Service was excellent (the waitress who was serving us drink was the best, quick and very attentive, always had a smile on her face). Food seemed fresh. A good variety of options even if you don't love Chinese food. Definitely better than Lins international.
So the wait was over 20 minutes. That's after we paid. My lil sis has more patience that I. Anyhow, it was honestly worth the wait. A lil over $50 fed me, her, & my kid nephew. So I have no complaints. The price is on point. The food is a wide variety & delicious. The servers are very kind. Good food, good prices, and good service. What more can you ask for. Definitely recommend.
Good selection of Asian food along many American food offers too. Best time to go is during lunchtime pricing.
I loved this restaurant! The buffet selection was wonderful. Armando was excellent! I came from Cali to visit family and Armando took care of us along with the rest of the tables splendidly. He was super friendly, outgoing, helpful and full of San Antonio history! His sense of humor was on point for our table! Thank you for your hospitality! Will def come again when I return!
We go here all the time for date nights and even sometimes for special occasions with other friends!! Love this place recommended to me by my mom even before I went! We all love it!! Food is delicious you can get everything from normal buffet options, great selection of sweets and even steaks! Its so affordable and the workers are always so kind.
Food is delicious!! there's a dessert bar and a salad bar too. Egg drop soup is awesome 😋 I'm
The best Chinese buffet in SA, always satisfied, never fails me, everything is so delicious, I have no photos because I ate it all! Sushi is so fresh, highly recommend the Bourbon chicken
First time at this place, love the options. The cooks keep everything fresh and the staff maintains everything so clean! Where can you have, tres leches, baked oreo cookies, sushi, flautas, ribs...... loved it. Thank you to Maribel, she kept our table cleans and drinks full. Loved her attention to detail!
If you're stopping at any buffet in town this one be the one to go to this Buffet has all your Essentials for lunch and dinner Top Notch I go here all the time I've probably spent well over $1,000 eating here at this place not to mention referring people and birthday parties it's well worth the wait and the time even though there's not much of a wait at the most it could be a 25 to 30 minute wait maybe 45 minutes but they're really good with customer service and very fast clean sterile restaurant Lovett go here trust me it's worth every dime
A classic buffet with many options. First time coming on a sunday about an hour after opening and it’s definitely packed. The staff do a great job of keeping up and always try their best to make it enjoyable :) we’ve never had a problem here. One adult one child , two drinks (yes it’s separate) ~30$
It was my first time to visit this place. I'm going to give it five stars only based on how it compares to other Chinese buffets in San Antonio. Most in this city are not that good. Another reason I gave this place five stars is the food was actually warm to hot. Almost all of the other Chinese buffets in San Antonio have the food temperature from warm to cold. My favorite today was a medium rare steak, whole mushrooms, grilled bourbon chicken, fried rice and sushi. They have a pretty good selection of meats but are severely lacking in vegetables. I feel they had a little too much American food as opposed to Chinese food which is what this place is supposed to be. Nice selection of desserts too! I only gave them two stars for atmosphere because I experienced a lot of screaming kids who threw more food on the floor than they did in their mouths. That was a little disgusting. I don't understand why people bring infants and young children to buffets. Oh, and one other thing, I asked what kind of fish they use for the fried fish and the waiter said pollock. It was definitely not pollock it was catfish. There's a big difference between Pollock and catfish. Also, I did experience some of the wait staff were English challenged. However, I definitely appreciate the fact that they are working though. If you order water, one adult lunch buffet should cost you $13.85 and that includes tax.
We went on a week night. Food was fresh and so good. Other times have not been the best. Kind of pricey too but everything expensive nowadays.
We always go here after shopping at Walmart. The food is always fresh & delicious, with gobs of choices. The staff is super friendly. They are about the only joint that serves my favorite dessert, Keylime Pie. 😀
Amazing well cooked food with excellent service. Really organized and a great variety of international foods. Will definitely be coming back for more.
The food was very good. Everything was fresh and the service was good. I will definitely be going back with the family. Probably one of my favorite buffets in San Antonio.
The best Chinese buffet in San Antonio tx been coming for a while me and my family enjoy the restaurant and food Javier was my server for lunch he was very helpful and friendly.
Great food but can be over crowded. The problem with having alot of selection and good food is a long line, which you will find here. Come with patience for over crowding and rowdy kids, because the food is worth it, not the drinks tho.
Dude. WTH. Why did it take me so long to come here? I’ve now come twice in just a couple weeks with my family. For a buffet, the food is amazing. Almost everything I’ve tried is fresh, they have workers patrolling the food line, wiping it down and refilling. And it tastes GOOD. It’s probably the best sushi I’ve had at any Chinese buffet. Can you get better sushi at a sushi restaurant? Of course. But for a buffet? It’s up there with HEB sushi. Seriously, you have to try it for yourself. Even the jello is good. Usually it’s bland and flavorless. It’s actually sweet here. Tres leches was amazing. Just everything I try seems to be flavorful and good. Definitely hit this place up when you get a chance.
I’ve been coming to San Antonio every year for the last 10 years. I’m not sure how I’ve never been here. The food was impressively delicious, the service was quick and nice.Highly recommend!
Went on a weekday during lunchtime, location was clean, staff was friendly and observant to when plates needed to be removed or drinks needed to be refilled. Food area was clean, the entire time there was a staff member cleaning the food area constantly. The food itself was very good, I did not like everything however I did like the majority of it. I would definitely recommend and I will be visiting this location again.
2nd time visiting last week and everything was fresh , hosts are always on top of everything. Not a singular complaint, only wish it was closer to my house. Will be visiting soon, again
Had been a while since I had come to this fine establishment but we were working near hear so we decided to stop on by. Well, this place has not lost its touch. Food was great and the tables were clean. Thanks to the great waiters and waitresses that tend to your every need. We all had steak and didn't regret our choice. Everything looked appetizing. Can't wait till we head back for another awesome lunch with my friends from work.
It'd been a couple of years since I dined here. I did recall their choices were abundant (for a buffet), with a diverse selection of cuisines. From steak, chicken wings, sushi, shrimp, walnut chicken, fish to tres leches, and strawberry cheesecake that is but a mere & very small sample of what their buffet includes. The food was fresh, the sushi tasty. Their wassabe was quite runny for my liking but their shaved ginger was very good. Overall, a very good variety at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Best place to try Chinese cuisine all together at one place . Absolutely delicious and wide variety of dishes
What a great buffet to celebrate my father-in-law’s birthday! Aside from the usual fast-moving long line at the entrance, everything else was excellent. The variety of food caters to just about every taste—and it’s absolutely fabulous. There’s plenty of seating, and the service is big, fast, and friendly. After several visits before, I already know—I’ll be coming back for more!
The fried dumplings were great - they had a crunchy crust on them. I also really enjoyed the fried Oreos. The Orange Chicken and General Tso's are staples that they did really well.
I’ve been coming to Chopsticks Buffet for about 8 years now — this is a very late review, but I finally had to write one! If you’re in San Antonio and want real value for your money, this is the place. The buffet is always fresh, the variety is excellent, and the food quality is consistently great. What really stands out though is the service — the staff is genuinely friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome every single time. Whether it’s a quick lunch, family dinner, or weekend treat, Chopsticks delivers every visit. Highly recommend — you won’t be disappointed!
Never been there before. My friend took us there. From the moment we got inside everything was GREAT. Food was delicious, all variety to choose from. Servers were pleasant. Enjoy it very much.
Best buffet in town. Very good prices, excellent food. They have a wide variety of food. The sushi is great, as is the Asian food. My drink was never empty and my table was never cluttered thanks to the wait staff. Is a little busy around lunch time during the week.
I've been craving a buffet for a while, and finally, my family gave in. What better place to go than the legendary Chopsticks Buffet in town? I haven’t been in years, and going back was so nostalgic. Honestly, I had a better experience than I expected. The food was incredibly delicious, and the staff was all great and attentive. I will definitely be returning soon!
Absolutely loved this restaurant! The food is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The atmosphere is so inviting, and the service makes you feel truly welcomed. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
If you're craving Chinese cuisine in San Antonio, Texas, Chopsticks Chinese Restaurant is a solid choice. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes from flavorful soups and tempting appetizers to indulgent desserts. Whether you're in the mood for something light or a full-on feast, there's something for everyone. We’ve learned to arrive early in the evening, as the restaurant tends to get busy later on, leading to longer wait times. But honestly, the food is worth the wait. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is generally efficient. Overall, Chopsticks delivers great value for money. It’s become one of our go-to spots when we’re in the mood for Chinese food that’s satisfying without breaking the bank.
Probably my favorite buffet in the city. The sheer variety of food is staggering. If you like lifting weights and having enormous post-workout meals I can't think of a better place. Also, I'm unaware of any other place in the city where I can get a margarita and sushi and cake in the same sitting. So, this place rules.
I had dinner at this buffet for just $17 per person, and it was amazing! The selection of food is great, with plenty of meat, fish, seafood, salad, fruits, desserts, and even ice cream. The fried Oreo was a highlight—so delicious! The food is constantly refilled, so nothing runs out. The staff is very attentive, and they clear the plates from the table quickly. Overall, a 👍🏻 experience with good food and service!
Expect a crowd when you visit! This is a super popular restaurant, and after waiting about 15-30 minutes for a table, it's not hard to see why. All of the food we ate was incredibly good, and getting to try their fried oreos was such a treat. The server was very pleasant and made sure we were taken care of (thank you, Crystal/Krystal!) Would love to come back again the next time we're in town!
Everything was fresh , and clean. You can get a little grilled steak as well as traditional Chinese buffet , everyone left satisfied
1 star taken away for NO wonton Soup about a year ago. PLEASE put it on the buffet! I have a son with autism that refuses to go there because of this! And I LOVE the food.
In town for vacation, this is a very nice restaurant, food was very good, however I would like to compliment Nouna for her awesome service, attentive, always with a very pretty smile, makes you feel important, up lifting! We were impressed!
The food is pretty decent for the price. The wait was about 20 minutes, but that's not too long. There's a lot of Mexican inspired dishes that surprised me at a Chinese restaurant. The service was good overall, but they could use more restrooms since it's always packed, no matter when you use it
It was good food, had more of a Latin twist to the cooking. Too crowded for just 4 rows, had to pause because of unsupervised children running around. Should have tripped the little boogers too!
Chinese buffet, what else can I say, not too bad, not the greatest or newest that I've had. I can say this place is always packed, and they should invest in some renovations, spruce it up a little bit. The food is pretty okay, I've had better though, but good for the price, which was around $35 for 2 people during lunch time. Check them out, my 2 cents.
We've driven by @chopsticksbuffetsa a few times, and it has caught Dad's eye. Hubby and Dad had been there together before. Today, I joined them for lunch. I guess you can't beat all you can eat for less than $13. We had the Agua frescas to drink. Dad got 3 plates of food and 2 soups. This is where Dad seems to have a bottomless pit. Dad does enjoy buffets. He wouldn't do so well at places that charge you if you have leftover.
My family had a great experience. We went on a very busy day, full house as they called it. We didn't have to wait long, the food was promptly being restocked so it was all nice and warm besides the cool items like sushi and dessert but they were also quickly restocked. I will say the steak was a bit chewy and tasted bitter from the grill but I enjoyed everything else I got. The walnut shrimp was my favorite even though it didn't have walnuts. I found the sushi to be decent enough. The service was quick to clean and refill water. The establishment was pretty clean. I think the price was fair. Overall, I would go back.
Chopsticks is definitely a hot spot of the perennially hungry on a budget. The food was mostly tasty, particularly the hot and sour soup and orange chicken. They have a big selection to choose from, too. Based on the clientele they attract, keeping everything clean and orderly is a Herculean task, to say the least. People who cherish screaming, playful and unruly kids will love it here.
Stopped by chopsticks looking to try a new buffet. Upon entry it felt as i could tell the food was about to be delicious. Those high ceilings with the food on a raised platform and the tables surrounding the buffet...it's quite a sight. My server never let my cup empty. The food was excellent and I will be returning.
*This is an all you can eat buffet. * You pay at the counter when you enter. Your tip is also paid upfront when you enter. * The buffet has traditional Chinese offering such as beef pepper steak, Gerneral TSO, beef / broccoli, egg rolls, Lomein noodles, rice noodles, egg drop soup, hot & sour soup Additionally, they have lemon chicken nuggets, fried shrimp, sushi, steamed rice, fried rice, & dinner rolls At the salad bar, they have tossed salad, pasta salad, potato salad, apple salad, coleslaw, semi Ceasar sa k ad with a creamy dressin. The desert bar has things such as jello, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate / vanilla pudding, spiced pineapple, ice cream (with about 6 flavors), and Key Lime cheese cake, They have an American food bar with things like mac & cheese, chicken nuggets, baked potatoes, bourbon chicken, corn on cob, flautas, baked tllapia, & ribs. Drinks are served by the wait staff. The Waitstaff also clears your dishes. The cost is around $13.99 per person at lunch and around $16.99 per person at dinner. drinks are additional. The diinner tab with drinks (we had tea) was around $43.48(tax included), plus whatever you choose to tip. The food is good for a buffet. is kept fresh. The foods are kept at the appropriate temperatures. Overall, it's like most good chineese buffets. The one complaint is that I would rather tip after I dine. I base my tip on over-all experience; food, price, and wait staff service. Tipping before I dine gives me no way to determine what my experience will be on a given visit. UPDATE: 8-16-25 FOOD; The hot food was average at best. Seems the food sits a bit and is luke warm. The only real hot (temperature) are the soups (Eggdrop and Hot & sour).. The white rice was not fluffy, but it was not Sticky Rice that many Oriental restaurants have. The food at the hot stations does not seem to be as up to temperature as it was on my first visit. The c salad station is still very good. My only suggestion is that the oil based dressing on the pasta salad is bland. The dressing needs to be a vinaigrette type. The pasta salad could use a few more black olives, and maybe some celery or bacon bits to jazz it up a bit. Service: Waitresses and waiters need to be aware that special needs individuals need to be seated in thevare nearest the ramp to the buffet area. Our hostess was seating us fairly far from the ramp and a gentleman, whom I assume was the head flloor associate (or possibly some type of manager), came and told us ge could seat us closer to the ramp and buffet area. Kudos to this gentleman because my wife haas a bad knee, and her back has spasms from time to time. She was using a walker on this day. The table wautress was phenomenal. She cleared ourvdishesvinba timely manner and kept our drinks full. The only thing we had to ask gir was the traditional offering of a fortune cookie. The cookie is not a must, but a nice littlebtreat to end the meal. ATMOSPHERE: The Philly k ace us not a cozy or quite place. The sheer size of the place and volume of people at lunch or dinner ((especially Fri - Sun) makes thus one of the louder retarunts in town. The birthday wishes given by the wait staff are somewhat annoying due to what sounds likke banging on a tin pan after singing Happy Birthday. The birthday geature is nice, but a toned down version would be nice. KITCHE / UTILITY: The staff dropped the ball as far as utensils go. All one is given upon seating is a fork. No knives ever seem available. On this night I got a biwl of Hot & Sour soup. All spoon dispensers were empty. I waited a bit a checked again; no luck. How do they expect you to.eat soup.witg no available k e spoon, My new ratings are: FOOD: 3☆☆☆ Food Temp - lukewarm, TABLE SERVICE: 5☆☆☆☆☆ Great ATMOPHERE: 3☆☆☆ Bangig birthday wishes a little annoying KITCHEN UTILITY: 0 Utensils lacking
My first visit and probably won't be my last , let's start off with the positives which were the price was affordable , the food was tasty and the service was good . The negatives were the crowd meter was too high for the normal people and worse for special needs . The cleanliness of the tools used to serve the food with especially the ice cream scope !! The noodles weren't the best , flavorless and they didn't have any teriyaki sauce on the buffet to add some flavor to them and The baked potatoes were plain !!
This was my first time checking out the buffet with my daughter. The food and buffet area was well stocked and clean. The server was attentive and kept checking on us for refills and to clear plates. My only issue was the seating, only the white and Asian people were seated near the buffet, myself and the other Hispanic and Black people were seated in the back room. Do better, it was not even packed it made no sense to seat us in the back room and have to walk over to the buffet.
They have many options, but the flavor is mediocre and the place is overall kind of dirty looking. I have been here twice. I am not a fan.
Their rolls when fresh and with butter were GREAT! They have a large variety of food. Seems like a large selection of sushi ( although I don't eat sushi) So you can get your money's worth. However the steamer tables were not keeping the food as hot as needed. By the time I got back to table and start to eat it is barely lukewarm. I normally like egg drop soup, but there's was kinda weak. I normally like crab rangoon, I'd say there's is ok. Overall I will come back when nearby. My husband said everything he had was good. So now you have it!
Would give this place a 5 if they provided plastic gloves to serve yourself, other wise your touching the same spoon everyone else is touching and you dont know were everyones hands have been which is gross IMO.
The restaurant is very busy right now due to it's popularity. It will take you at least 30 minutes to get a table here so be prepared. The wait staff is friendly but super busy. I was really surprised they were able to keep checking on us as much as the did. The dining area wasn't the cleanest because they are struggling to keep up with the amount of people going in and out. The buffet had lots of options which was awesome. From Asian cuisine to fish and even steak. I will say the Asian dishes weren't really seasoned and that was either due to choice or trying to keep up with demand. For me the visit was just ok. It's a great deal for the money but I'd rather just go to a regular restaurant instead of a buffet.
The salad bar is great, the fish items not so great, has bar options, wait to be seated
This place is not as good as it used to be. Most of the food is very small portioned and you can’t eat anything with chopsticks. You definitely need a fork or a soup spoon. Most of my food was very salty and the flavor they used to have isn’t there any more. I don’t know if they changed ownership, but it is definitely different.
This place was so overhyped. I saw the tiktoks saying this was one of the best buffets in San Antonio so I decided to give it a try. Safe to say I won’t be back anytime soon some of the food wasn’t hot enough and a majority of the food was just greasy and lacked flavor.
Walked in and was confused about what to do. Immediately when you walk in there is a register to your right. There was a long line. We walked out of the way when we saw a sign that says wait to be seated as well as pay for your meal first. So we moved back and went to what we thought a second register was and it was not at all a register but we had to figure this out on our own as the two men who were standing there didn't look up at us or say anything. We finally made it to the register, paid and went to our seats. The food was plentiful and as you can see by the picture looks fantastic! I took a couple bites and figured out we had wasted our money. I was so sad. The food was bland and had a strange taste to it. The vegetables were ok thank God! We will not be back.
The food was lukewarm, barely hot. The selection of food was more sushi and appetizers than anything that a usual Chinese buffet would have. I was recommended by the locals here but definitely won’t be back
The exterior and interior of the restaurant were very nice. The server was friendly and attentive. That's the end of the good stuff. I've been to Chinese buffets all over the country and this one was more comparable to those in very small towns. We were there during lunch hour. The chicken on a stick and white fish were both very dry. Everything I tried was either mediocre or unpalatable.
I'll start off by saying that this place isn't terrible, it is mediocre, but the staff is friendly and quick to cater to your needs . The sushi has a lot to be desired it seems to be mushy rice and wasabi so the sushi all tasted the same the best one they have is the fried sushi and the worst sushi is their own chopsticks roll. I do realize that it is a buffet but using imitation crab and salmon that taste horrendous is not okay. Enough with the sushi everything else taste like it was either left out for too long, had no flavor or was soggy examples being the Mongolian beef being very tough, the fried chicken is dry, the pizza is very doughy, and the lo mein was soggy, also disclaimer: do not try their tequila lime wings they're just awful. All in all this restaurant is very over hyped and packed for no reason if you want good quality and quantity go to lins.
When I review a Chinese Buffet place, I always compare it to Jumbo Buffet in Louisville Ky. This place is nowhere near Jumbo Buffet in Louisville Ky. Firstly, it's over crowded and that's partly because of the size of San Antonio, but also because of the very poor way they laid this place out. Much wasted space, with the elevated Buffet area, if they had kept it all on the same level they could have saved space. They are working on the Bldg, though it doesn't look like an expansion is taking place. Also, this is a converted restaurant as it looks like it might have been a Texas Roadhouse or something similar before. The food is what I would call below average for a Chinese Buffet and most certainly well below Jumbo Buffet quality. The selection is poor, the taste is not that good, the way it's presented on the buffet is really not good. The "hot" foods aren't very hot. There is no Ambiance at all. You feel like a Heard of Cattle trying to get into this place and when you do make it in, they have a Window to the left (NOT MARKED) and a Window to the right (NOT MARKED) with people behind. Apparently the left window is to order drinks, and the right window is the pay for your Buffet and get receipt, then take that to the guy who screams the numbers at the end of the counter so you can get your number and your place in line. Oh, and for ONE Person, it's $27 for a Buffet and a Lemonade! WAY OVER-PRICED!
Food was OK… Nothing exceptionally great that all pretty much had a blah taste … Not worth going back for sure… The age of the place and the bathrooms are old….. The floors are dirty. The walls in the bathroom are gross and the floor is nasty. Could use a really good deep cleaning, but I guess nobody cleans these days. They just sweep and that’s good enough. The walls need a good scrubbing … and sinks as well. Could use a whole new paint job and remodel…
A man vomited while walking down the aisle covering his mouth trying to get to the bathroom, vomit getting all over the carpet, i told the waiter he just shrugged. Needless to say that ruined our appetite after just getting there. Same man who vomited i saw was again at the buffet after leaving the bathroom.
I went yesterday during lunch early (11) I hadn't been there in a long time like years I don't do buffets so yesterday I was invited gave it a try omg it was bad okay let me start by mentioning the Chinese buffet area is so small very LITTLE OPTIONS the fried rice was so dried and blaw no flavor the bar had more deserts and fruit than Chinese food the Mexican area had more food I will never go back NO OPTIONS !!
Chopsticks used to be great, My wife and I haven't been there in a while Went yesterday and it was the very worst Asian buffet we've ever been to. Horrible, would not recommend this place to anyone.
Our waiter was great however the long wait to get sat down is not worth the food quality. The white rice was very hard even though they had barely taken it out, they only had two soup options, and the fried rice was flavorless along with the rice noodles. The Walnut shrimp was the only good option, most if not all the chicken variations were hard. The food was not good overall.
Good food. Lousy service from all the staff. This IS A PREPAY buffet. If you’ve never been here, it’s very confusing when you walk in. The people in front have NO MANNERS. I asked a busboy where could I find LEMONS and he said “no English” and walked away!!!!! The BAD service ALONE is a reason not to return!!!!
Their shrimp on the ceviche weren’t cleaned right… they still had the poop inside… they charge so much to eat there but can’t clean the shrimp right and that’s a bad healthy hazard for the customers… I’m not eating here anymore for an overpriced buffet
Pretty expansive and when you ask for Strachan they only bring a little container of ketchup full with that little container they expect that all 4 people get from there crawfish were not go good had a bad taste like if they were no longer good! Never again ill come to this place!!!
I got food poisoning from I believe either the salad or ribs. Idk but ive been shitting and vomiting for the past 12 hours, I cant even keep water down. I tried to call about the food poisoning and the management was completely disrespectful, called me names and hung up on me. They were so nasty, im having to call the health department DO NOT GO HERE
I have give chopsticks a 1 star because they use to be the spot back in the day. There buffet has limited options. The seafood is over cooked and dry .The desserts have a bad taste last night I tried 4 different dessert dishes. I have to say overly seasoned in salt and cinnamon I spit it back on the plate. I'm not a Chef Gordon Ramsay from hellz kitchen but I have worked in professional highly recommended and rated kitchens in San Antonio as a chef i know taste. So for me to return I would not I have to retire this restaurant on my list of places I have been back to in over 20 years .I for got one other thing the fried shrimp and the BBQ pork Ribs was most definitely cold when I got them and sat down I was like yea noo pass .The heating elements might be out on the table .I'm sorry I have to make a bad review but this use to be the spot now its a rendered from the past but thats has came and gone The the decor looks like it hasn't been updated in years and I think it's time for a revamp the restaurant. The atmosphere had a very downward somber feeling that you don't see in most restaurants were your like whats going on here and also the servers overly do their service like my server came to my table like seems like every 2 minutes which meet my family feel uncomfortable which made it seemed it was very overbearing and that's another reason why I will not return and also there's too many staff members just standing around not doing anything there just there .Good luck Chopsticks
I normally don’t ever leave negative reviews because I’m a business owner myself and I always try to speak with management before ever even thinking of reviewing them on google but I just left this place and I’m never coming back. The food - it wasn’t terrible but I lost my appetite once I saw flies on the desserts. Our server was sweet, attentive and such a hard worker. I wish she would know and trust that this review has nothing to do with her. If my review was solely based on HER service I would give her a 10/10. She mistakenly threw away our utensils and drinks when we went to grab a dessert and when we came back our table was wiped clean so we sat down and figured when she came back we could ask for our drinks again but one of the hostesses who was wearing a black mask came up to us and looked at my husband and I like why are you here??? We mentioned to her that we just got up to get dessert and she kept saying “RECEIPT?!” Where’s your receipt???? To which I replied “our receipt was on the table and our table got cleared by our server on accident” I don’t think she could understand English because as the other servers were trying to help us she got in their face and just kept saying “RECEIPT!! RECEIPT!!!!” At this point I turned to her and said maam, our receipt got thrown away by our server by accident … how would you like me to prove I’ve already paid??? She got a receipt from the table next to us and put the receipt in my face and pointed at the receipt and then pointed her finger at my face. By this point I was done. How are you going to talk to me like I’m a child when I’m a paying customer?? You could tell the servers have to deal with her because my server had to come apologize for her behavior. I’m assuming she’s either the wife of the owner or in management, who knows but save your money and go somewhere else. If the owners don’t give a damn about treating their customers with respect and dignity go spend your money somewhere else! You can find wayyyyyy better food and management at so many other places.
