love the atmosphere! lo fi, cozy, views looking on the park, the decor was icing on the cake. mix of vintage, modern 1900’s high ceilings, huge chandeliers, windows and green everything. customer service was great. had a little wait time. food was good, loved pastries. a good high end breakfast gem.

It was a sweet surprise finding this gem after a Health and Wellness Expo spent in Travis Park as a vendor! Came famished and the place was elegant, we were served well and the staff was nice even when we felt we were not dressed appropriately! We had brunch and the food was delish. A pride in San Antonio! Recommended!

I love the atmosphere with the lo-fi background music that was low enough to allow conversation but subtle enough to notice the upbeat vibe. The decore was a nice mix of historical classic 1920s with modern touches of green velvet, warm gold accents, and floor-to-ceiling windows for natural light. I was there for lunch, so the menu was small, which helped me with decisions, but still included healthy options. I don't know why other reviews say the service was poor. In my experience, Derik was my server, and he was excellent! He was patient with me, let me stay and relax as long as I wanted. He was attentive and even a bit sociable, yet taking note of when I needed space. The menu is a bit on the pricier side, but this should be expected in a 4-star upscale hotel. You're paying mostly for the ambiance and the service, which I felt was unique and memorable. I would recommend this restaurant for a nice romantic dinner.

Kind and customer-service oriented staff. Rise and Shine and eggs benedict were fresh and flavorful. Appreciated the gluten free bread option. Bloody Mary was good and peppery and willingly adjusted the spice on request. The renovation is beautiful!

This was a five star breakfast as far as I’m concerned. Great service, it came out fast, good full plate of food. I think they switched the staff or something since the past reviews.

Cozy little hotel restaurant, great views of the park, and really decent food for being located in the hotel. The wait staff was great and it's a really cute experience to eat and watch the park.

We spent our first ever Thanksgiving away from home in San Antonio to visit our daughter in military training. We had a party of 5 for Thanksgiving dinner and the Chef accomodated our gluten and dairy allergies (with advanced notice) for the pre-fixe four course menu. The food and service was outstanding. The restaurant and hotel were festively decorated. I am thankful for the team at this restaurant 🙏

Had breakfast here during our stay at the hotel. Food was excellent and the ambiance was great. Not sure why it’s rated so poorly but we enjoyed our breakfasts. Coffee is excellent.

Wanted late breakfast options on a Saturday and we came here. The service was fast and friendly and came back often to check on coffee and to see if food was good or if we needed anything. We both had the rise and shine and our eggs were prepared perfectly, over medium and scrambled with cheese. If you get a meal with an option for bread, absolutely get their scratch made biscuits!! I had mine with whipped butter and honey and might be the best biscuit I’ve had!! Prices were also very reasonable considering located in St. Anthony’s hotel. Each meal was $18 and coffee was $4!!!!

A nice restaurant for the St Anthony Hotel. Food was decent for the price. Server was polite and friendly despite being the only server on staff for the evening. Would recommend going for the jazz event on Tuesday nights. However, expect a semi decent wait for food.

The place itself is very picturesque and cute. We went early morning on a Friday with reservations and felt our service was not great. There were only 2 other tables at that time and our server would disappear for long stretches of time. The food itself was mediocre and expensive. One of the dishes we ordered came with a side of toast and the toast we were brought had visible green mold. They apologized and comped the dish but it was gross thinking they did not notice that! Again, it’s a beautiful spot and they fixed their mistakes but we were not impressed and would not be back.

If you're stuck at the hotel and this is your only option, it will suffice. Main server was not very attentive and a actually a bit flippant. However, the food runner was very kind, polite, and professional.

The food seemed a bit mediocre for the price. Especially, the 3 empanadas, which were smaller than my thumb. How much filling can you really put in there. Just make 1 big one! The egg for my brisket and egg plate was runny, and the brisket (a very small amount) had no flavor and was a bit tough to eat. The coffee was way too strong. Couldn't calm it down with sugar and cream.

Came for breakfast. Coffee cold, potatoes cold, bacon cold, eggs warm. Not a good breakfast spot. Great location. Service was good.

Nice space and good food. Unfortunately, the service is just not trained well. The staff lacked passion, attentiveness and professionalism. Because of this, the restaurant didn’t feel like a fine dining experience.

The food was very underwhelming. The minuscule chicken tacos were mushy, and the beef tasted like it had been reheated in the microwave. It was lukewarm at best. The food lacked flavor. The King Cavalier was nothing but club soda with a splash of flavor. The music is its redeeming quality. There are a lot of homeless people around. The prices are overpriced for the quality and quantity, and the portion sizes are smaller than a kid's meal.

Had a group of 12 they refused to seat us until we all were present even though they had no other tables. This place is supposed to serve brunch but service was snappy when we asked to have breakfast when they were preparing to change to lunch menu.

Host was incredibly rude. I ended up leaving the moment I was sat down because of how frustrating the experience was with her. Not a fantastic way to kick off the Easter morning

Horrible customer service! We waited 35 minutes until I went up and checked on it. She sat us immediately. Husband asked if they forgot us and she giggled and said yes then left! No apology or anything.

We had a 1:45 reservation for Gallery on the Park. We showed up at the hotel at 1:45 and spent 10 minutes trying to find the restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, the host told us they were closed. I told her we had a 1:45 reservation and she rudely informed us that, had we shown up at 1:45 she could have still seated us, but because we were late, she refused. Why would a restaurant allow for a 1:45 reservation with a 10 minute Grace period if they close at 2pm? The host didn’t even attempt to accommodate us or apologize for not being able to seat us. It was an incredibly disappointing experience. We informed the front desk, who promised to have the food service manager reach out, but no one did. Please don’t offer reservations if you cannot honor them!
