I loved the whole experience! We had these fried Mac & cheese balls which were to die for! The pizza was yum!!! The steak frites & mashed potatoes were delicious!! Their bread & butter was great! We tried the pumpkin cheesecake and ordered the classic plain cheesecake, and both were so so good! I loved the pumpkin cheesecake so bad! The service was great & the prices are a high, but it’s worth it because of the quality of the food!

It was good. My friend and I had lunch, and I got the salmon, and she got this delicious pasta dish. Sara, our waitress, was great! They have plenty of seats and lots of options—something for everybody.

Our party (4) was quoted a 30-minute wait time; however, we were not seated for approximately one hour and had to check in multiple times for updates. After being seated, it was an additional 40 minutes before our food was served. Based on wait time accuracy, kitchen throughput, and food quality — which lacked flavor — this visit would have otherwise reflected a 1-star experience, and we would be unlikely to return for the menu alone. That said, our server, Gabriel, delivered an exceptional level of service that significantly changed the overall experience. He was professional, courteous, patient, and highly attentive. He demonstrated strong operational knowledge, accurately remembered our orders, and maintained a calm, service-focused demeanor despite extended delays. Operational opportunities for management consideration: -Improve accuracy and transparency of quoted wait times. -Strengthen host stand communication and guest follow-up processes. -Evaluate kitchen efficiency and food quality consistency. -Enhance coordination between front-of-house and kitchen operations. Gabriel exemplifies customer-centered service and brand representation. While he is an outstanding server, his experience, situational awareness, and process mindset suggest potential value in roles focused on customer experience or operational improvement — a strategic priority for many organizations in 2026. I initially considered leaving a 1-star review; however, Gabriel’s professionalism and human-centered service warranted a 5-star rating. His impact was that significant. Retaining and developing team members like Gabriel should be a priority.

The orange chicken and rice were amazing. Super flavorful and cooked to perfection. We had a large party (15) and the waiter was amazing at handling our table.

Praise for Perry's! Food is exceptional, as well as the service. Typically I go for the steak or pork chop, but on this occasion I chose the cedar plank Redfish, and it was absolutely perfect. The server was very attentive, and kept using the word "we", which we loved. It made us feel like family. The addition of rose petals for our anniversary made it even more special. If you haven't yet been to Perry's, you must try it. If it's been a while - revisit them. I've never been disappointed.

Went here the day after our wedding to celebrated just us. Our server (I think his name was Spencer) was so great. Very knowledgeable about the menu. We did feel our food took forever to get to us but when it did it was great. Hot. Large portions. The steaks were cooked to a perfect med rare like we like. They have a cool wine app that helps you choose a wine for your meal based on your preferences. I thought that was so neat. I would suggest you make a reservation no matter the day of the week. We went on a Tuesday and it was packed. We had to wait for a table. Only a few mins but we were surprised that there was a wait. Definitely would recommend.

We finished the evening with their chocolate crunch tower and orange cheesecake, both stunning desserts that showed just as much craftsmanship as the entrées. The entire staff, from hosts to servers, continuously acknowledged our anniversary with genuine kindness, attentive service, and thoughtful touches that made us feel truly celebrated. Perry’s isn’t just a steakhouse — it’s a full experience built on exceptional food, remarkable hospitality, and an elegant atmosphere. We left with full hearts (and full stomachs) and will absolutely be returning. A perfect place for any special occasion.

Undoubtedly, the pièce de resistance of our evening was the pork chop. This was arguably the finest pork chop we have ever had, with an impeccable presentation. To conclude our meal, we indulged in their delectable chocolate crunch tower, a symphony of pure Swiss chocolate bliss alongside a tantalizing orange cheesecake. Throughout our dining experience, we were consistently greeted by staff members who wished us a happy anniversary. Our glasses were never empty, and the ambiance was simply beautiful. Overall, it was an unforgettable evening, characterized by outstanding cuisine and exemplary service.

They weren’t able to write “Happy Anniversary” on our desert plate which we would like to have had. But none the less the dessert was amazing as well. A good, standard steakhouse. Not quite top-tier and exclusive, not the dress code type, which is nice if you want a really nice meal but still have a relaxed feel. The cost is high though, for not being the highest-end place. The service was excellent and every bite was good. Large portions. The sides are all raved about, and they have good weekly specials. Easy to get a small table Saturday 2 hours before dinner, but don't press your luck with a large group. Ideally, this is a good prom location for kids (we saw these groups) as it's probably the nicest meal they've ever had, but most adults are used to it for good food.

We love Perry Steakhouse because their steaks are consistently cooked to perfection, just as you wish. You have the option to add sauces or toppings with extra fee but we usually just get the plain steak—there's no need for sauce because it’s tasty and juicy on its own. Don’t forget their calamari; it has a soft texture with a crispy coating and a hint of heat, and the pickled peppers complement it perfectly. The side dishes are more than enough for two people. The service is always great—very attentive, and everyone is friendly. All locations are consistently excellent; we’ve tried them all. And don’t forget those pork skewers! It’s addicting!

Finally got to try this place out and oh my goodness. The tater steak bites were cooked perfectly to my preference. The bread was fresh and butter was light. The Mac and cheese was a tad watery but still delicious. Now the Pork Chop. This was the greatest chop I've ever had. Moist and shredded with ease. The flavor was out of this world and mixed with the whipped mashed potatoes took it to another level. The dessert topping was flame baked at the table and it was a great end to the meal. Can't wait to go back again, I literally have dreams about the Pork Chop.

Used Perry's several time during the holidays and they did a great job every time. Used them for the hot Thanksgiving meal to go, for our company holiday party of 40 guests, and Christmas meal pickup. Every time the service was exceptional, especially the full service staff for the private party. There were at least 5-10 servers throughout the meal who kept all the employees happy, glasses filled, and food delivered exactly right. Manager followed up the following day to make sure we had a good experience. For the Thanksgiving and Christmas meal, food was just as good as dining in. Everything was good, but my favorite was the pumpkin cheesecake. I hope to see this on the menu during the year. Great food served with exceptional service.

The Cheesecake Factory is pretty consistent on service, food, and atmosphere. I brought my son for a Father Son day outing. He loved the bread and butter as did i. We ordered the 4 cheese pasta with chicken and the orange chicken. Both were great. For an appetizer we had the world famous (not sure really lolz) Buffalo Blast. Ughhhhhhh this are so delicious. Establishment was clean and fancy looking. We would definitely go back. We didn't get to order any Cheesecake due to the feast we had, had us feeling stuffed. This was my first time visiting La Cantera Mall in San Antonio. We decided to stop for a bite to eat at The Cheesecake Factory and almost left since the wait time was so long. We were in for a spectacular evening since we were seated outside on the Friday after Christmas. We had the best seats in the house for the fireworks show! Our food was delicious and our server was attentive without being overbearing. The only negative, that I'm still trying to understand, is regarding the restrooms. This restaurant seated a large number of people and, yet, there were only 2 stalls in both the men & women's facilities. Even if you're only going in to wash your hands, you shouldn't have to pass a line of people waiting to enter a stall just to use the sink.

We never even got to find out if the food was good because, after more than an hour, we still hadn’t been served. We were seated at 2:07 p.m., well after the lunch rush, and around 3:15 p.m. the wrong food finally arrived. Since we both ordered the exact same dish, it should have been an easy order. Instead of apologizing, our server simply said, “Let me get the manager.” I wasn’t looking for a conversation, I just wanted to eat. The manager came over, said they’d rush the correct order, and we agreed, though we mentioned we were short on time. A few minutes later, they brought out a to-go bag, even though we never asked for takeout. After waiting that long, I wasn’t about to drive home with cold food. By then it felt like the waitress just wanted us to leave, probably because she realized the tip wasn’t going to be great. The manager didn’t seem to have a handle on the situation either. Overall, a disappointing experience and a poor example of how to run a restaurant. It is a nice bag, but not nice enough to make up for all the time that was wasted.

Although the food was decent, we would have a hard time returning due to the service. We visited Perry’s to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and unfortunately it did not meet the expectations we had heard so much about. Our server accidentally dropped two drinks behind my son, lightly wetting him. I reassured him that accidents happen, but the service did not improve afterward. We waited over an hour and a half for our food after ordering, drinks were rarely refilled unless requested (and even then took a while), and one of our appetizers never arrived. We were part of a large party with five children, and the extended wait made it difficult to keep them settled. Additionally, the server’s attitude was not very welcoming. We did share a small complaint with management and sincerely hope this experience doesn’t happen to other guests in the future. There are so many great reviews for this location, which is why I felt it was important to share our experience as well. Unfortunately, our visit fell a little short of expectations. I truly hope this was just a one-off experience and not a reflection of the service others typically receive.
