Taco Broadway San Antonio Reviews
Best breakfast tacos in San Antonio! This is a family run business which I frequent often. I typically order breakfast tacos because they are made fresh and hot. My second favorite is their chicken burrito. Every time I am welcomed with a smile, and the staff remembered the few times I brought my family in. They’re very considerate and make amazing food. Highly recommend to anybody who’s visiting town or a local in the area wanting consistently good options. Thank you Broadway Taco! The picture I took is of the Trashcan Taco. It’s huge! I took it home and added some sour cream great for after a long run or work out.
They started me off with complimentary homemade nachos and salsa, which were really fresh and crispy. I ordered their mini tacos plate with asada, which was super juicy and tender. 10/10, would visit again.
It was our first visit, but not our last! The tacos were delicious and the ladies working there are awesome!
Hands down the best tacos in San Antonio. I come here for breakfast every weekend and the service and the food is so incredible every single time. When I come in they recognize me and know exactly what I’m gonna order so they also appreciate loyal customers. I’m sure they have plenty of them too given the fact this establishment never fails to satisfy. 10/10 recommend.
Yesssss You can definitely taste the love in the food 1st time visit with my mom and we both ended up having breakfast - dine in and a few hours later decided to order lunch to go Ready to go back with the hubby I didnt take any pictures but the tacos are a good size
It was a sweet quaint restaurant. The workers were absolutely sweet and fantastic and the food was brilliant I'm from Tennessee and have family there in San Antonio I will definitely go back and eat more!
It was a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon, excellent fall weather for a drive with the three dogs to run a quick errand with me. I knew tacos were gonna happen, I just didn't know where yet, and it needed to be a place with a drive thru. I found this place on Google, and based off the high rating and good reviews I decided to give Taco Broadway a try. Nidia, at the to-go window, was so sweet and friendly. After she took my order, we chatted for a bit about dogs, and how I found their little taco shop. Even though there's a sign that basically says good food may take a few more minutes, I didn't really have to wait that long. They make their breakfast tacos to order, and they were hot and fresh! The ingredients were definitely quality! Honestly, these were probably the best tacos I've had in the last few months. I will certainly be back for more!
So good!!! We in San Antonio for the weekend and happened to come here for breakfast ne morning. The owner was so kind and the breakfast tacos were so amazing.
The taquitos and enchiladas were great! Good salsas and home made tortillas. Only downside is the restaurant is somewhat small inside. Great place to stop for Mexican food!
I'm very thankful we went here instead of the taco chain down the road. Taco Broadway had two sweet ladies who waited diligently on us. The prices were good, and the decor, hospitality, and food were 100% authentic Mexican - and 100% delicious. If only they were in my hometown!
We always get our breakfast tacos here because the food is amazing. It’s a small spot with a few tables, but has a drive through window, and more parking in the back. Taco Broadway recently catered an event for us at Roadmap Brewing Company, and did a great job. They arrived early, serving street tacos and accompaniments. Everyone raved about the food, especially the pastor tacos and the green salsa. I definitely would hire them again!
Great hole in the wall. Staff is super friendly and the food is great. Tacos are amazing. I got 3, the machacado & egg, papa a la mexicana and the bean and egg. They were amazing. Even after sitting in the car for 15 minutes they were so good. The salsas provided were excellent. I asked for the extra spicy ones since I told the cashier I wanted to cry. I was crying. I’d definitely come back to try more of their menu.
Great service only thing the tacos was a little soggy and leave a bitter taste in your mouth Other than that, it’s OK
It was ok, nothing special. Food took longer than expected and since there are no servers, had to go up to the counter to ask for more tea and napkins. Potatoes and beans needed more seasoning. Chilaquiles uses store bought chips, no biggie. Tortillas were good. Paid $25 for two plates, two teas.
Pros: great service, a ton of food. Cons: low quality ingredients, questionable recipes I threw the barbacoa taco away after trying a bite because it was greasy fat and liquidy after trying a bite. The pastor taco I had to drown in lime to cloak the flavor, never had anything like it in SA before. The egg/bean/cheese taco had good size and tasted good except the egg tasted really off. I was expecting a lot more given the high ratings of this location. I could see the bean and cheese by itself being good.
Hours stated they open at 9am Sunday showed up at 9:20am and they were closed. Would recommend having hours correct online.
