I went back here to eat today at lunch. The food was good, especially the tofu! It's a good deal for what you pay. The male server is helpful and showing a great customer service.

The food is okay and service is also okay. Place is clean & neat. But the great deal is... Their hibachi grill is top class. Not costly but extremely testy hibachi..

This restaurant is an all you can eat buffet that offers many entrees to choose from. There is a Sushi bar, variety of soups, chicken, ribs, rice, a salad bar, as well as a dessert bar that has fresh fruit, pudding, ice cream, and much more. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Kid friendly. The restaurant parking is easily accessible from the main road. Parking is free. It is also Handicap accessible. The restrooms, and dining area are also handicap accessible. The price for the buffet dinner was extremely affordable.

This used to be my favorite place but it's not as clean as it used to be, the food was delicious and the people are sweet but it wasn't that clean. The tables wore sticky and the hot sauce on the table was covered with sticky substances. Over all if they just cleaned up the tables and floors an walls I'd give them a 5 star again.

I've been here a couple times. Some things taste horrible and some things are delicious. So it's a hit or miss. The people are nice. It was clean. I did like the Thrifty ice cream though.

Its gone down a lot since pre covid. I remember it being one of my faves for Chinese but now the options arent the same, the food quality isnt as good either and of course food prices have gone up also. I know the weekend is better as far as the food options goes if you're a seafood fan and its still relatively fair im price compared to most places. I've always been seated when ive came in and parking has never been a problem. The service has never been a problem either as they are friendly. Check them out if you havent!

The lunch buffet was good. Love their shrimp. The Mongolian style bbq not so great. It was really dry. They didn't pour broth on it when cooking. Really nice staff. The food seems to be getting better. Lunch is better than dinner there.

Went there about 1:00 in the afternoon a lot of the chicken based food was dry but it was a cheap price.

The food, like you have seen in other reviews, tasted off. The chicken, and rice for the most part were the ones that tasted really weird, like if it had been left out for a long time. The service, however was really good along with the ice cream!

The food was mid. Then again we visited on a Sunday evening, probably would have been better during the week day instead or maybe a Saturday. One thing I do got to say for sure is that their silverware has to be a little bit better cleaned, but then again it's a buffet. What can you expect? Jasmine tea was good. Fruit selection was a bummer. Sea food boil was not good but it's ok. Maybe a bit of attention to detail would bring this place to a five star. Paid $64 for 3 people including drinks. Not too bad at all.

Brunch & Lunch 4⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommend expect your regular buffet trays nothing fancy or seafood style trays just a quick bite still for the price it's Way better than McDonald's or any other fast foods restaurants. 😡Rating on Dinner 2⭐⭐ only Food is important if you go for crab legs this is not The place since the crab legs are very small and they take long to add more in the warmers once they are gone usually the waiting time is 25 minutes or more for them to replace the empty tray with Crab legs, but hurry up because they only place 25 legs on each tray. 👎👎If you go for the shrimp with mayonnaise it's not going to happen either they stopped serving those as well here. 👎👎The place have built and strategy by delaying the exchange of empty trays at the warmers the only trays they replace constantly are Chow main, broccoli and beef and others not so popular trays. 👎🤬👎Expect delaying on trays like crab legs, pork ribs, oven or bake white fish fillets, mayonnaise mussels, panko shrimp and sushi. Please be very careful when you grab chicken wings lately they have been undercooked this is a food safety concern😬. The Hibachi grill is good but sadly suffers from the same lack of attention the food warmers suffer the frozen shrimp and vegetables will get empty and staff will take a good amount of time to replace the trays as well. I have provide 2 pictures made at the Hibachi grill I do recommend without a doubt... Just have in mind you may have to wait for cilantro, onions, jalapenos, broccoli, sprouts, pineapple, shrimp or all the above for the trays be filled with their corresponding items. I hope the owner instead of getting mad or ignor my review takes action and begins to pay attention on how people have been noticing the dramatic changes specially with all the competition around they have hope they go back to their quality food or the long time customers will take their business somewhere else. I will update my review 2 weeks from now to see if the owner have made any progress on food quality and specially about the undercooked chicken or I will be contacting the San Bernardino health department and place a complaint.

If you are hungry and care not of the quality of food then by all means gor k out to your hearts content. Family run and I understand that Covid kicked many out of business. This is a survivor restaurant and is possibly good for people who have nowhere else to fill themselves up. The young man in the front tries to do his best working the front and tables. He is not a jerk. I have been to better restaurants where owner looks like a snake with evil eyes. But this guy is kind. I noticed many regulars, elderly and disabled. In a way they are providing a service to people nearby. But for me it is a one time try but not again

The people who work there are very pleasant & nice. The food is horrible. The music is literally BLASTING non stop. My first & last time there. It was almost empty yesterday afternoon. Maybe 2 other diners. I thought we were in luck. But apparently the locals know this place sucks. Rice dry & hard. Everything dry & old. The meats are all hard. Like it's been there a long time. I didn't even take any pics. Oh the hot & sour soup was good. Ice cream machine wasn't cold. The soft serve was the consistency of a shake. I like buffets cause I like to eat. But I kept thinking this place is so bad when it comes to food quality, presentation & flavor that the sanitary standards no doubt are bad also. I can't find the words to tell u how awful the food is. It doesn't even smell appealing. No smell at all. If u don't believe me just try it.

I found two hairs in my food, specifically the sushi. A lot of the food is prepackaged, I know because I’ve bought the garlic bread at Walmart and recognized it. The chicken wasn’t good. After I found the hairs the waitress said “so sorry” and that was the end of it. Children were crying, screaming, and running around but I guess that’s not the restaurants fault. The ice cream left a bad aftertaste. Wouldn’t recommend.

Alot of food was missing for it to be a dinner buffet, the chicken wings were bloody, I showed the server and she said she'd show the cook but never said nothing else, $30 for my son and I we both got water, we had to call the server over 3 times so that we could get a refill.. not going to lie, it is not worth it, unless your really hungry, then again... it is California, nothing like Texas!

First walking in it was very empty which should have been my first sign. Got down to sit and they got my drink order wrong, gave me a full sugar instead of diet. Then went to go grab my food, everything was... ediable until I got my fish, it was RAW and not just in the middle raw the whole underside was light pink!

The food was not that good 😕. the egg rolls are the worst thing I have ever tasted but the ice cream was good. The rice was just rice and the chicken was ok for the most part it was not the best.the bathroom is not at bad as I thought but it is still not that that clean.

Food wasn’t that good, not really a good variety of foods. My stomach started hurting literally 5 minutes after eating . I do not recommend coming here. Service was decent. Bathrooms were kinda dirty as well. When we arrived we had some food residue on the table.

Many of the foods were not very fresh — the poke, sashimi, and chicken thigh tasted a bit off. However, I really loved their apple pie, it was delicious, and the fruits were great too. Every staff member was very friendly and warmly greeted and chatted with customers. The environment was clean, and the restroom was also very tidy. The price was extremely cheap — it’s the most affordable buffet I’ve ever been to.

There's a small food variety and the few times I've come it's always stale or raw even during rush hour. The service is basically non existent, you have to wait on average about 10 to 15 minutes to sit down and after that they usually never check up on you. The atmosphere always feels depressing as well. The only redeeming thing was the Mongolian grill but half the raw food seems expired. You get what you pay for basically since it's cheap

Food was terrible, no variety, cold and iffy looking. I thought I risked sickness with every bite, not good. The service was terrible, we got no refills in 45 minutes on our drinks. The atmosphere was abysmal, they did not keep a clean restaurant, and Christian radio was playing loudly the whole time. Don't go here, 3.8 is too kind a score.

last time I went here there were BEES inside. Food was old and raw. The chicken on a bone was yellow inside which makes it bad and not edible. Spit it out. The only good thing was the garlic bread. Not much to eat there for 50-100$😬 overall this place was disgusting and haves a lot of cons. After eating my stomach hurt like hell. Please save ur money 🤦‍♀️

Horrible experience and nasty food. Orange chicken was mushy, fried rice tasted like plain white rice, beef and some other items were cold, and to top it off the hot chef at the grill upon preparing my food was eating an egg with his bare hands and then licking it as he was preparing my food. I left and upon paying they Still wanted to charge me full price after I told them about what happened. They Only took $2 off!!! Never again! PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE. I visited king buffet 2/24/24.The fabric of my seat was wore an I had to sit somewhere else but other seats looked worse..The buffet was no buffet some of the trays were empty an no crab legs only 2 skinny ones , sushi& fish were flavorless , oysters looked old ,honey dew melon & melon were hard that I had to used a knife to cut it .Cookies were good an chocolate putting an breaded shirmp an the white rice .This place needs improvement .Paying to much for just rice & shrimp an desert is no all you can eat .P.ss waitress did not seemed pleased getting a 3dlls tip. The food was dry, there were items that needed to be refilled and the pans were dry with the remaining food stuck to the pans. The cashier was rude and acted like she didn't want to serve me smh. Noticed a B health rating walking in, which was a warning for what was to come. Cold soggy and greasy. Ordered a coffee and got a luke warm concoction, tasted like the kitchen sink.

Unless you are strapped for cash you can do better with neighboring restaurants. The prices should tell you how "good" the food is. Went in an it wasn't packed but the food was off in many areas. The fish for the sushi was two tone due to it being sold old. The pork ribs were bad, like should have been thrown away bad, but were still cooked and served. They had that distinct way past due smell. After 2 plates and 2 drink refills the servers push the check at you in hope you leave quickly. I had high hopes.

Went here with my family and the place didn't look in great shape it was kinda dirty but we decided to stay since we were already seated. When we got to the buffet area it wasn't any better the food looked questionable at best, some of it looked like it was sitting overnight and not fresh which we avoided to not risk potential food poisoning. Also the plates and spoons didn't look washed well and some of the plates still had bits of food on them which is a health hazard. Anyways when we came in we asked the lady at the counter if refills were free she assured it that they were and that we didn't need to worry about it. what we thought was her being nice and constantly offering refills was just her trying to add extra charges to our bill. With that being said eating only one plate each of unappetizing food the four of us proceed to ask for the bill and when we saw the bill it was way overpriced over one hundred dollars and a huge over price fee in the drinks of almost 35 dollars so the catch was that the refills weren't free and the front counter lady had lied to us and was acting nice and kept offering refills because she knew she was going to overpriced them and add additional overpriced charges. When we told her that she had reassured us that refills were free she pretended like she couldn't understand us and couldn't speak English very well which wasn't the case when she took our order. If you think about going here don't and save yourself from going through a bad experience.

I've been to many buffets and sorry to say but this one is the worst. A lot of the food was very dry and what was supposed to be chicken or beef tasted weird. Fried wontons should not even have been called that, they were awful. The orange chicken was mushy and did not resemble chicken. The ribs were so very dry. They didn't have much to choose from as far as veggies to put on your plate for the Mongolian grill. The salad bar was not even that it consisted of lettuce and lemon. The California roll was good. The little square coffee cakes were yummy but obviously they're store bought. And we were happy to see that they had thrifty ice cream but immediately disappointed the ice cream was hard and old like if they don't cover it when they store it. I'm completely surprised no one in my family got sick. Our server was too faced he would smile when he was close to us but when we looked at him from a distance he would be looking at everybody weird. I walked over to use the bathroom and I saw him watching me out of the corner of my eye just staring at me with this angry look. Please don't come here, they are obviously in violation of health code. And by the way their rating is a b rating, I didn't see that till we were leaving. Please eat somewhere else even if that means you have to take a little longer of a drive.

The plates aren’t clean .. there was poop on the toilets poop in the trash cans.. bathrooms weren’t clean at all.. they served us a dirty table and the chairs had food on them and the male server was rude.. worst buffet

The food especially the meat was very under cooked, some parts of the food tasted a little good, but tbh I will not be going back for seconds, I had my hopes up for this place unfortunately they over taxed me for just three people it was well over 60$ and there was few selections for the buffet not much food even if I didn't like one section they didn't have much to choose from anyhow, I will choose other places to dine in especially if I'm going to a buffet. King buffets best days are years behind them... SMH the audacity they have to serve this old outdated food. Dry, overcooked and old. Didn't touch the meat because you could tell how old it was. I have to agree with other reviewers food tasted old and was cold and bad quality. The crab legs bin was empty and asked thee times when they were putting more out and then put out just enough for me very low grade kept open mind because if the price but omg it was really that bad. I figured before I left I would get Mongolian bbq better quality right. There was no steak or chicken and nobody there and it was 6 pm will never come back

If you saw the caliber of individuals that frequent this place, you’d see why their still able to get away with serving that garbage. You would also understand why the prices are so cheap. The food is subpar and the owner is clearly racist. Never encountered a racist Chinese woman before, now I understand the horror stories. It’s a hole in the wall establishment to say the least. There were dead bugs in the bathroom, they didn’t refresh a single entree in the warmers the entire time I was there. I had to ask for my drink refills, ask for my check, ask for new silverware. Huge red flags for a buffet style restaurant. You won’t catch me in there ever again.

Very dissatisfied. We used to be regulars at this restaurant. The food was not as good or enjoyable as it used to be. The prices went up as to be expected in today's times. Service was the worst. The girl said it was her first day on the job. She would completely forget about us. Other employees had to check on us and assist us. Because the new girl had no idea, how to serve in a timely manner. Or that she should check on us occasionally. And of course she never came by with the bill. We had to ask another employee for it

The man politely told her the waiter allow me to walkout with my ice cream he said and she just said pay or dump it. The man ask how much and she answer $3 dollars. Charging a customer $3 dollars for a 4 to 6 oz ice cream is unbelievable and ridiculous. holy crap was that bad! they don't even try to make good food. oily shrimp, hard over cooked chicken, the clams we so bad, the steamed fish tasted like it was steamed in the same place where they wash dishes, I wouldn't even try the sushi it looked sweaty. The food was not looking right. The water was green and the muscles were orange. The muscles were coming out of the shell. It’s just not good place. I would not recommend strawberries. They were nasty. They were rotten.

I didn't like it here as much the food was not good in my opinion I had better before and the chicken didn't look cook and it was a 3/10 I don't recommend it. The fried shrimp was plain and you need to have a sauce with it to actually enjoy it and if you are a picky eater like me I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. Anyways some of the food was burn. Among the worst Chinese food buffets! I arrived on Sunday 12/29/24 when the restaurant opened at 11:00 AM and expected the food to be fresh and hot: NOT. All the food was cold, tasted as if it was from the previous day. I mentioned the cold food comment to the server, who simply said, "You want hot lamp ova food?" Never again wack establishment.

I went to King buffet on Hospitality Lane on the 6th of January 2025 for a late lunch. The food appeared old and dried out. But because my wife and I were so hungry we decided to eat there anyway. That night when we got home I experienced severe stomach pain and excessive liquid bowel movements. I don't think I got food poisoning but I know I ate something that was old. I will definitely never go there again

I spent $150.58 for my family to have dinner I will never ever come again although the lady was nice their wasn’t really any food no chowmain, no rice, absolutely no sushi we came 2hrs befor closing. Was excited to visit, seeing the pics on Google but oh no, did not like it one bit. First thing of the bat the horchata I got was sour which that means it's spoiled. Well, when we first got there, there wasn’t that many people in there there was hardly any food and the food that was there. Kind of looked old. Never really ate anything we just got up and left. I doubt very seriously will never go back..

This restaurant was the absolute worst place, CiCi who worked the front and seated me had No personality at all, the food was cold, white rice was hard and they had it sitting on what looked like plastic wrapped over a pan and it was hard, the waitress never came over or even looked my way so I could ask for better, almost everything was cold or Luke warm , maybe it was the time of day 1 o'clock to 2 o'clock, a total waste of money, will not be coming back.

Shrimp and crab (stone crab and crab salad) obviously frozen. Stone crab fried on the outside (to deceive one to think it was fresh) but had unfresh smell once opened. All meats looked dry. Mongolian grill not functioning because there was no attendant. Dinner is $12.99 (M-F) because do not offer great selection. Skip it.

Would not serve green tea. Reason being they said they don't have any more hot water !? We asked for green tea at 7:30 pm and they close at 9pm but they said they don't have any more hot water for tea . To me that doesn't make any sense when we're speaking $60-$75 dollar's for dinner ???

Be the judge yourself. I filed a complaint and this is what the inspector noted when they did their walk through. I have wrote a review prior stating how bad the food was here 2 YEARS AGO. Don't eat here if you enjoy being healthy. It's like a shell of what it once was OVER a decade ago.... I edited out the inspectors name for their privacy. This inspection took place on 12/9/2025 I filed the complaint 12/8/2025 for reference

The Mongolia part wasn’t open food is trash taste like re warm micro wave food from couple of days old was warm temp Chicken was dry cucumbers taste nasty like bitter Coconut shrimp was hard and rubbery I got a plate it was dirty the ice cream scooper didn’t have no water in the bucket and dirty scoopers Wanted to leave half way threw eating My kid didn’t even eat it and almost everything was empty or dried out Not worth 15$ a person maybe 7$ concidering we barely ate and pizza was crunchy bottom and crust

Don't ever eat here unless you'd like to get food poisoning. I have worked many years in the food industry and I don't understand how they're still open. They reheat old food, nothing is at the required temperature and they're food is just plain disgusting and not fresh.

Went there last night and everything was like terrible. The chicken has a odd tasteless taste cause it been left days, chow mein was devoid of taste. According the pizza, it been hard to take a bite and taste is like a cheap version of dominions pizza. My mom on another hand is much terrible, see tried the sea food and nothing that great. Potatoes were disgusting with a pinkish color when you rip the layer, it wasn't cooked right. I cannot Fandom to not recommend eating this place even if looks good enough. We left everything half eaten.

⭐ (Poor quality food & cleanliness – not worth it We had a very disappointing experience at King Buffet – All You Can Eat. The salad bar was just iceberg lettuce, no toppings or dressings. Shrimp were rubbery, BBQ pork was dry, orange chicken was nasty (my son’s words), and the chow mein tasted like it had been sitting out for days — chewy and old. To make it worse, the bathroom was dirty. Hygiene is clearly not a priority. After leaving, we checked reviews — only 2 stars, and now we know why. We left most of our food uneaten. No lo recomiendo para nada!!...

They have bad service like they didnt wash their plates at all right food on plates still lied about their prices they stare until finished eating dont know how to cook food was still cold and not cooked right they charge $20 For each soda and dont tell u the price until you pay everything was sticky food tasted old the meat taste like soap they lie about there prices and they have poop on there stalls and there restrooms are disgusting everything was dirty the tables were dirty never again!! And they didnt even speak english she couldnt understand me at all this food on my plate was absolutely horrendous they just let me grab raw meat and i thought u were supposed to eat it they had no warning labels or signs 0/10 dont go here!!!!

Chow mei was burned Food wasn't good at all. There were no names on dishes. Ribs were really dry. Teriyaki chicken was dry and saggy at the same time. Strawberry jello was like rubber. "Clean" spoons were, in fact, not clean! California rolls were displayed on top of a dirty plate. Way to expensive for the quality of the food.

Came for dinner at 4:00 there was no food on stream tables, not a lot of people possibly 5 tables with customers, so decided to wait for the food before starting our dinner. At 4:30 no refills yet, so I ask politely the waiter the time the dinner starts, and he guided me and pointed at some food and said there's the food, so we had to walk out. Almost 40 minutes we waited, no excuse because it's a Tuesday, we been customers for long time, but this place is degrading more and more

This place has a Class A rating which are not supposed to be. Their Fried Garlic Shrimps are the worst I ever had today (September 12, 2022). You can smell it 2 to 4 feet away and even worst when you have it front of you. The head easily comes off and the meat sheds when you peal it off I tried complaining it the server and referred it to the manager. Who just ignored me and left the whole tray by the counter for others to get them. These lady from the sushi bar saw me taking pictures of it took the whole tray out.

Not much to choose from. Food is old and cold. Meat is really dry. Isn’t fresh at all. Food has been sitting in those trays for a really long time. The sushi tastes really dry and spicy mayo tastes nothing like spicy mayo. I spit mine out. I only liked the Thrifty ice cream. Can’t go wrong with that.
