Pita Gyros San Bruno Reviews
Great people and great food! Wonderful lahmacun, urfa kebab plate and wraps are delicious. The bread is always fresh and tastes homemade. Fairly good selection of beer and some local favorites on tap. The salmon plate is also very good. Try one of the combo plates if want a little of everything.
Gyros are amazing. Chicken was the best chicken I’ve tried for years. Also baklava was pretty good. Totally recommend!
So my wife dragged me to the mall. Except im stsrving amd stuck here. So i go to the food court expecting major disappointment. Lol chipotle. Im from socal we dont eat that. Panda express. Lol im asian. That rest isnt. The smell of orange chicken makes me Queasy. So i try the pita gyros. IT WAS KILLER. I try the gyro beef and lamb and wow.
Only had the pizza, wings, beef lamb wrap and fries so far the few times I was at Tanforan. Fries were decent, wings were good (not dry), pizza was great (love thin crust), and the meat in the wrap was good, not dry and the wrap was very filling and wrapped tight. Overall I’ll give 5/5, and the staff was very nice as well. Will come back again if I gotta pick up another game or watch movie
Best customer service I have experienced for a long time. The guy took extra care in my food, he made sure my food stayed hot while I was in the restroom. When I came back, the food was freshly made and it was good quality as always. I understand the covid struggle is real and looks like the whole tanforan mall ain't doing too hot. I would definitely come back whenever I get a chance and give them as much support as I can.
Healthy option for the food court. I like to order a beef shawarma wrap which ends up being a beef and lamb wrap. Also had the chicken plate. Food is very good overall, just ask for more sauce to make it flavorful.
This place is so good and I was so glad that I stopped and got the lamb beef pita gyro. I didn't want fried greasy overly sweet food. The Gyro pita is huge and the meat is super tasty. Friendly service too. I'm definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.
Ordered the Chicken Gyro plate. Decent tasting food at a very reasonable price. This eatery is in the Tanforan Mall which a shell of its past and nowadays empty of most of its retailers, so I like helping the few restaurants at this mall that are managing to stay open.

This ace has the traditional Hummus , pita bread and Baklava. I wanted to try pizza from here and ended up ordering a Pizza with hot sauce, chicken and all veggies. I loved the way the pizza was made. It was tasty and the personal pizza was easily sufficient for two adults.
4/1/23: Very tasty pita plate. The workers were professional.

Their gyros are pretty good here for the price. They definitely don't skimp on the fillings and white sauce, which is a good thing. A nice touch that I've never seen anyone else do is that they twist one of the wrapping foil ends so the drippings don't make a mess when you pick it up to eat.
I really enjoyed my Gyro. It was full of wonderful meat and it was spicy like I asked. Also I ordered mine with out lettuce and they had no problem with that. The staff was very friendly and the place was very clean. Would defiantly eat here again.

Okay but not overly excellent. Mostly Rice with a little Meat, makes it healthier, but the price is not justified

Sad food, cold n reheated. Disgusting greasy taste. Service is awful... Don't order here ... just walkover to Chipotle across them. No wonder why the store is empty and others beside have customers. God bless the Owner 🙏 Such rude people Paid decent 20% tip even before got the meal as this is prepaid .... service lacks big time. Food not worth either😒
Yesterday while visiting the mall here in south San Francisco, I ordered to go in the food court and by the time I got home and opened my food I saw the falafels I’ve ordered were burnt and the rice tasted of no savory but stale. I kept the food refrigerated since I didn’t wanna make the commute back after a long day and decided to return early the next morning. When I returned early in the morning at 10am with the food in the same bag and receipt, there was an associate working named Linda who I informed about my food being overdone and that I was visiting in town and trusted my food would be well done and didn’t think I would have to return it. The associate was very rude to me and would not refund my money or give me the manager’s number.

2nd time trying this place. Bland, hard to chew food. Ordered two chicken SHAWARMS and falafel wraps which came out mostly salad sandwiches that tasted rotten, AGAIN. The CHICKEN were hard CHUNKS, but they specifically said it'll be shawarma. Terrible service and food. Do not go
I really wanted to like this place, but it didn't turn out that way. The ladies that worked there were nice but the quality of the food was terrible. It didn't taste fresh at all. I ordered the chicken kabob plate, chicken pita and seasoned fries. Kabob plate was very dry and bland. The only thing that had seasoning was the rice. The veggie salad shouldn't be served to anyone. (All of the food had a sour taste, like it had been sitting out all day.) Upon first bite, I knew I had to throw it away. The wrap had the same taste. That went in the garbage as well. The fries bearly had flavor for what I paid for. I can say with confidence I will never be go back there again.
This is the first time in my life I've ever thrown away food. I ordered 10 boneless chicken wings with teriyaki sauce, expecting some delicious grilled meat, especially as it was $20. I got some tough, overcooked battered chicken, covered in a sweet, sickly sauce. I ate 2 as I was hungry, but I couldn't eat anymore. Just awful.
I ordered the chicken gyro plate and the lady said it was $13.60ish with tax (can't remember the cents) and when I pulled out my phone to pay with Apple card she automatically added herself a tip and the total was over $15.50! When I asked why she's charging more she said she didn't do anything. Buyer beware! Always check how much they charge you! They lost a customer!
Never someone upfront and the workers get mad when they have to do there job. I always get wings here and they give attitude when I order certain flavors on the menu and flat out tell me they don’t have it and won’t have it for months
