Want a low-key, high-quality and delightful wine tasting experience right here on the peninsula ... no need to travel hours away, just slide on over to the eastern commercial district of San Carlos and visit Spencer (and Mike) on any given weekend, or one of their special event evenings. They've been been offering a great selection of local varietals for 17 years and this is one of the spots that makes San Carlos earn the moniker "The City of Good Living' ". Always friendly, knowledgeable and creative with their vinification - there's often something new and interesting to explore. Just finished enjoyed a library pouring of 2012 vintages this weekend that was sublime. Love Russian Ridge!

My absolute FAVORITE thing to drink right now is RRW Barbera... that is, until my next tasting, when Im definitely going to be trying their double gold winning Concerto! 🤩 thanks for the great service, Spencer & Mike! I will be back for another tasting ASAP.

Love everything about Russian Ridge Winery! Owner Scott and his son, Spencer, always remember us and are the kindest, very genuine, down to earth, and know so much but explain without making you feel like a total novice. The wines are fantastic. Both red and white. Have a number of fuller Zins, latest Petite Sirah was very dark and mysterious and delicious, love the light buttery and creamy Chardonnays... I can’t believe it’s such good quality right here in San Carlos.

$18.00 flight tasting of their delicious wines. Chardonnay blend, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Concerto and Syrah. Choice of outside seating or open air indoors. Mike and Spencer are friendly and knowledgeable about their wines. Great place to spend your Saturday or Sunday afternoon!
Absolutely incredible. Staff is super friendly, remembers folks from visit to visit, and great wine. Shout out to Spencer for doing a great job pouring every time we are there, and he makes cool art too!

Went this afternoon my wife’s and I first time doing anything like this and right off the bat I will say we’re definitely coming back and doing more wine tasting in the future right away we were welcomed and greeted any questions we had were answered thoroughly by Mike who is great and the flight menu was superb had to bring back a bottle staff was great product was great just overall a great time on our vacation if you’re in the area I recommend Russian Ridge as a priority stop
