The parking lot was full but luckily I rode a bike. It was pretty busy and I had no reservation but I was by myself so they were able to find me a spot very quickly. Service was great and I really enjoyed the environment they created. I ordered a vegetarian burger with tomato soup and an iced tea. The whole meal was fantastic.

I had the chicken burger along with a house salad and everything tasted excellent. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the salad was crisp and fresh. My friend had the bologna sandwich and she finished every last bite, so I can only assume she really enjoyed it too. The meal left us both very satisfied and eager to come back again.

Meal was excellent! About $30 bucks for a delicious plate of bourbon BBQ meatballs and some fire roasted veggies. Filling, tasty, and great ambience in the restaurant. 👌🏻 Shepherds pie & any of the burgers are calling my name on a future visit! Enjoyed an Eel River Blonde & a Pranqster Golden ale with the meal. Beers on tap are solid!

Enjoyed happy hour ( $2 off a selection of their menu and drinks) at the bar. Daniel was our bartender and he was fabulous! He gave us suggestions on the menu, great knowledge of drinks, a friendly demeanor and conversation that was engaging. He made the experience. The food was excellent too. Appetizers enjoyed were bourbon bacon meatballs, 5 of them with a tangy barbecue sauce and thick slice of bacon. Heirloom tomato and Brie bruschetta was flavorful and good portion. The best was the fried bologna sandwich (this is an upscale adult version of Oscar Meyer!) bologna sliced and piled like pastrami layered with pickles on panini bread with potato wedges. They split the plates for us without any extra charge. Had the mezcal sour that was on their cocktail menu, loved this flavor combo. Nice selection of beers on draft and a variety of whiskey with high end options. Will be back to try their dinner selections.

A hidden gem! We absolutely loved this quaint little eatery! The food was all made from scratch and locally sourced, our waitress was so helpful and made us feel like we were part of the F&I family! One of the owners came to our table and shared stories about his culinary journey. The Dutch doors let the fresh ocean air fill the dining area with its welcoming scent and rejuvenating essence. I could go on and on! I literally can’t rave more about this little slice of heaven in the heart of San Clemente! Don’t leave this place without trying their fresh bread service and tomato soup! Literally the best tomato soup we’ve ever had!

This was our first time here and we picked it from Google maps since we both didn't live in the area. The food was great. We will definitely go back there again. So many yummy things on the menu. We ordered the fried green tomatoes, the chicken burger, the fried bologna sandwich. The fried green tomatoes were very different but good. My chicken burger was very good and I ordered it with a house salad. I forgot to ask my friend how her friend bologna sandwich was, but I think she liked it. She ate the entire thing.

I found F & I when searching for spots in SC, and it had great reviews. We were not aware of it, and decided to give it a go. From the moment we were greeted by the manager, Aaron, we were impressed with the hospitality, service, atmosphere, and overall experience. After a thorough review of the menu and in-depth description of most of the offerings by Aaron, we decided to share the sheperd's pie that the kitchen split into two substantial portions. From the first bite, my wife and I agreed that we would have to return several times in the near term to 'run' the menu. Next time, we're definitely ordering the fried bologna sandwich and Rib-eye! Two of Aaron's top picks. I would like to give a shout-out to Kaleen, who stepped in when her shift began while we were dining. Ultimately, we were impressed with the professionalism and local / feel-good vibe and the amazing food quality and taste! So sad it took me so long to find this truly hidden gem.

This is one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten in a restaurant. I had the California Skillet - piping hot, perfectly seasoned, eggs cooked exactly right. It’s a generous portion but I ate it all because it was so good! My husband had the French toast with apples and bacon, also really excellent. Full bar too - didn’t have a cocktail this time but the Bloody Mary served one table over looked top-notch!

Great little gem hidden in San Clemente inside the palisades plaza. Very cozy and nice, food is very tasty and staff is delightful for sure, we had the pleasure to meet Nichole and Sam, super knowledgeable about the menu and very nice. We will return for more tasty food.

I ordered veggie burger and potato wedges, and my husband ordered ground chicken sandwich with salad. The portions were generous and the food was hot. The restaurant was noisy, but that’s because everyone was talking and enjoying themselves. Unique restaurant with a fun menu.

I was very impressed with the atmosphere, the service, and the food! My favorite was the fried green tomatoes but we also had the ribeye, the bologna sandwich, the jalapeno popper dip, and the bri with tomatoes. All were excellent and then we topped it off with the butter cake with cinnamon ice cream! We will definitely be back.

Our new favorite restaurant. My wife has specific dietary restrictions and they had great food. They don't even have to advertise. The cornbread, Loaded Mashed Potatoes, and Smore desert were awesome. Absolutely filling and some of the best comfort food I've had, second only to the Amish.

So, We went to the Speak Easy first and listened to some amazing Jazz. Get tickets early for this, as they sell out. Drinks only in the Speak Easy, and they really lean into the theme. The entire place feels like a set right outside of prohibition, and the Jazz was top notch. From there we went to the main restaurant, where we had a great dinner. It is a family run business and they do an amazing job on every detail. Highly recommend!!!

Cozy place with great food and a good beer and wine selection served by staff that understands how best to deliver it. At our table we had the baloney sandwich with house salad that was well prepared and served; the baloney taste was good but subdued in the many other flavors in the sandwich — a bolder move would be to sandwich a slab of baloney. The salad fresh and tasty. The chicken burger somewhat bland as it was ground chicken but very nicely prepared and served with salad. The roasted chicken excellent “best chicken ever” served with awesome mashed potatoes. Wines and beers served expertly. We’d go back tonight to this place to further explore the menu if we could.

Good food, service was great but lack of situational awareness left us scratching our heads. The entire restaurant was empty yet the hostess put us in a table directly behind the other wait staff conversing about their lives and looking at their butts the entire meal. Awkward as hell, I'll never eat their again, first impression was terrible, manager should have done something.

The food was ok, the experience not so much. We were there for a very late lunch and the place was almost completely empty. Nobody sat us, we had to ask for menus to someone working in the kitchen, and after a while we could finally order. It took half an hour to get two burgers and a savory chicken. I had ordered a lettuce wrapped burger but got a regular bread burger instead because someone forgot to either give the information or make it as requested. We were brought water once and there was no one in sight to ask water again…. I can’t imagine how it would be if the place was crowded.

This is a perfect hangout place. The ambiance is relaxing, and there is a wide selection of drinks that would satisfy a wide variety of pallets. The pork wings were amazing — very juicy and tender for pork! I highly recommend that starter dish! The rest of the food was good too. We had lunch here and each ordered an entree. We were a bit disappointed by the cold plates and lukewarm food, but the food quality and flavors were good. All the dishes were good (but not too memorable) except for the pork wings. See photos for the other dishes we ordered.

French onion soup was a joke. Piece of bread with a dab of cheese on it. Really? Don't they know what it should be like? Tasty enough but a fraction of the cheese. They also seemed to use a Swiss, which didn't seem to be the appropriate cheese. Had the salmon. Tasty. Butter on top of the skin? What's the point? On mashed potatoes then with roasted potatoes? Why two potatoes? Vegetables didn't exist. Friend ordered a salad to start. Specifically selected a dressing. Salad didn't come. Well at the soup came, had to check on it. Overall, mediocre

Very subpar. We arrived early for our reservation (we got done earlier than we thought we 100% intended to wait) about 30 minutes. We were sat at the table right infront of the door. Worst spot ever. It was also where the host were so they were practically at our table all night since the table was right up against where they stood. They were gossiping quite a bit so we heard all of there conversations lol one girl kept running her hands through her pigtails. It was super cold at the table since we were directly in-front of the door. Our server was nice but took so long to get to our table each time. The manager was nice. The food was not great. Simple bar food. Got the smores thing it was SO much chocolate we couldn’t eat it. We are in our mid 30s but the vibes fit a much older crowd. We won’t be returning.

Very unfortunate experience....we were regulars of this place.....have brought them plenty of business and will absolutely never return. We were treated extremely poorly when we arrived for our reservation and realized we had mistakenly made our reservation for four instead of five.....We were immediately apologetic and indicated that we understood there was a key difference and were willing to wait, etc .. instead we were treated like second class citizens, were immediately turned away and literally asked to 'leave since they couldn't accommodate our extra person'.....never in my life and zero words. That is just not how you treat people.
