Almost a magical place. We often leave Milan for a freshly squeezed juice and ride our motorcycles to San Colombano. The aperitifs aren't bad either; I drank a lot of them before going on a diet. 🤣🤣🤣
After being turned away by everyone, the central bar lives up to its promise: very kind, helpful, and always smiling. They pushed two tables together to ensure company and turned off the slot machines in the back so as not to disturb us. Very good, they even brought some biscuits to go with the hot tea👍

Historic venue in San Colombano located in the main square with an excellent location... large sheltered outdoor space... ideal for breakfasts, aperitifs and ice cream service...
Quiet, family-friendly, and not too noisy. The owner's daughter is friendly and approachable. A fairly wide selection of spirits, including quality ones. The only drawback: the three slot machines, even though they're in the corner at the back of the room.
A café with an unparalleled selection of pastries, including vegan options. Delicious coffee! Courtesy and professionalism are always available.
We had two medium beers with a side of pizza, coppa, olives, and chips at the outdoor table under the gazebo, without adding table service. Fair price.

This week (September 2025), Bar Centrale underwent a change of management. I can't give a higher rating because I don't know the new ownership. I reserve the right to update the rating later.
An evening with friends. We sat down at the restaurant, ordered, and some of us expressed a desire to pay by debit card. After ordering, the owner left the restaurant, walked over to our table, and with an arrogant and authoritarian attitude, allowed only one person in our group to pay by card, forcing the others to pay in cash. The service was as poor as the owner's behavior. We won't be returning.
Very poor aperitif. 3 watered-down spritzes with lots of ice and a measly plate of chips for 21 euros... Are you kidding?
We happened to be in town on a day trip and decided to stop for ice cream. It's a shame I'd never found such dirty bathrooms, not even at the stations.
