Starbucks San Cristobal De Las Casas Reviews
I come here quite often to work on my laptop while staying at La Fortaleza hostel in barrio la merced in San Cristóbal de las casas as it's just as short walk away. They have great internet and plenty of places to sit and relax.
Super friendly staff, great service, products and atmosphere.
I like a good mocha and they have it. The staff is very nice too. Enjoyed a ham and cheese croissant for breakfast. Great outdoor seating.
Ashamed to admit to loving Starbucks, but the latte was actually better than what I've had at two supposedly artisinal coffee shops on Guadelupe... I do not doubt there's better coffee available in this town, but my 5 shot venti did the trick, and the pastries were unusually fresh and delicious. And the place was quiet and I got to relax in comfortable seating, because we nomads are supposed to be too woke for Starbucks ;)
A bit more of a fancy starbucks but the prices are the same. The wifi works most of the time, but as in anywhere in in San Cristóbal, some days the wifi is spotty especially if it's a bit more busy. Plenty of seating, friendly staff.
Good but not great Starbucks outlet. Super central. Atmosphere and design is okay, but not great. I definitely visited some nicer Starbucks places in Mexico and neighbouring Guatemala. Internet was good, prices the same as in all other Starbucks in the country.
Ok...typical SBs burnt coffee. Local coffee shops are much better. Why would you go to SBs when in the coffee capital of Mexico.
It's Starbucks No surprises Friendly staff Decent coffee Clean restrooms No one has ever bothered me about sitting too long with my laptop at a Starbucks
I want to give a 5 star review but the internet here NEVER works. You'll see a network available. You can connect. But the signal is so weak you can not connect to any site or do anything because it's too weak. I always thought of Starbucks as a place with internet and every other Starbucks I've ever been to has it. Not this one. If the owner or manager fixes this problem and provides internet that doesn't only show up as an available network but actually provides a signal strong enough for its customers to actually use the internet without issue, I will be very happy to change this review to 5 stars.
Get starbucks out of san cristobal please, big corporations should stay away from This town. Mediocre food, coffee and service, just usless. Only use for me is the bathroom and free wifi, that's why i gave them 2 stars.
I guess there is a meeting event or something like more than 40 old women gathered and laughing and chating vrry very loudly! Staff seems fine with the issue. All sofas and chairs are full of their jackets and bags. So no place to sit. But noone sits:) I haven't seen this kind of Starbucks before.
This is the dirtest most disgusting Starbucks I have ever been in. On top of that, a dead bee was in the drink. Bathroom, floors, everything really dirty.
I waited in line a while; only to be told I MUST order the specialty item on their APP!! TELLING ME THIS INSIDE THEIR STORE! Ofcourse I walked out.
This place is pretty meh, even for a Starbucks. It is very popular with local youths who do not realize they are paying an exorbitant price for drinks that are considered trashy in the place that originally popularized them. I can't say they are the same quality as those prepared in the U.S. The flavors always seem to be off or weak. The service is a bit touch and go depending on who is running the cash register. I do like the paintings on the walls though.
Such slow service - I have been coming here for 6 weeks and on average it’s takes me 20 mins to get a coffee - even when the place is empty - slack staff - speed up!
They open at 7:00 a.m. but don't expect them to be ready to serve you until at least 7:30 so plan on that as the real opening time. I changed that to 1 star this morning. 7:37am the following day and they still don't even have coffee brewed.
