Excelente lugar para ir si te gusta el Chocolate. Don José te hace una plática en la que te enseña acerca del cultivo y proceso del cacao. Al final tomamos el cacao preparado x el y está riquísimo. Igual tiene un cafe sabroso

Delicioso el chocolate! El dueño hace su propio chocolate y te explica su elaboración desde que está sembrado hasta llegar a la mesa! Muy rico el sabor, se nota que es verdadero chocolate! Totalmente recomendado!!! Compré chocolate para llevar de lo mucho que me gustó! :)

"Adelante, estás en tu casa" Que mejor recibimiento y estás fueron la palabras de este gran artista en la elaboración del chocolate al entrar a su local, persona muy sencilla y orgullosa de lo que sabe hacer mejor, entre mezclas ,olores y sabores te transporta a tu infancia.... Excelente experiencia que no puedes dejar pasar en tú visita a San Cristóbal. Pero eso no es todo, cuando pensé que ya había visto todo, recibimos una cátedra Nivel Barista con respecto al buen café que Don José vende en su pequeña tienda....quedamos sorprendidos, con su estupenda explicación al respecto.. En Resumen, un lugar muy sencillo pero con años de historia y una explicación contundente en algo nuestro del cual deberíamos estar orgullosos, recomendamos ampliamente este lugar y reconcideremos apoyar lo nuestro.

Chocolate artesanal sin azúcar añadida servido en vaina de chocolate blanco. Un chocolate para paladares que aprecian los sabores sin la adictiva azúcar,es una bebida guardada celosamente por el propietario quien te atiende y explica proceso y origen, lugar rústico con encanto donde el tiempo se detuvo.

El chocolate está exquisito en ese lugar, fuimos varias veces a tomar ahí nuestro chocolate caliente que además tiene diferentes formas de prepararlo. Lugar 100% recomendable. Y te hacen sentir en tu casa.

Don José es una persona maravillosa que narra su experiencia con el cacao, historia antigua, tradiciones contemporaneas de familia. El chocolate es muy especial, tiene un proceso diferente a la mayoría.

Amazing natural chocolate! Jose prepares the chocolate by himself, from bean to hot drink. The chocolate is naturally sweet due to the fructose that he adds to the 100% cacao. This fructose is coming from the fruit itself. You'll see it in a crystallised form in the chocolate. So he is right when he says there is no 'sugar' added. It's not industrial sugar but the fructose! So educate yourself before you judge. He is a very passionate man with a lot of knowledge. I highly recommend it when you want to try something different. :)

Authentic cacao! It’s so delicious and unique. The owner (Don Jose) prepares everything by himself. He came up with his own method of processing the cacao beans, he does not ferment them, but dries them on the sun. That makes them taste uniquely and authentic - just like Mayans used to drink it. The place feels like it travels back in time. It has its soul. Don Jose is a beautiful human being, so knowledgeable about cacao, and life in general. It was a pleasure to visit this place and have a chat with him. If we ever come back to San Cristobal we will for sure visit this place again.

Its a small place thet serves a great caco drink. The drink is served in caco shell. The owner is so nice and gave alot of information about the difrent local prodacts and tasting.

You need to come try the chocolate here. This man makes the chocolate from farm to your cup. People come from as far as Europe and Korea to try it. Do not miss out while you are here. If you understand Spanish, this man is full of wisdom and is more than willing to share. Take the opportunity to learn from him. He pours his love for humanity into his product and is proud of it. You definitely feel it and taste it.

The sweetest people run this place, so nice and friendly. A huge range of chocolate drinks. I had chocolate with water and cardamom on top. Highly recommended and much more authentic than the "fancier" chocolate places in the tourist parts of San Cristobal.

The chocolate drink was whatever, here in Chiapas you can easily find much better. Meanwhile most reviews seems to focus on the owner. Who is to me more that willing to engage in conversation about personal views on any topic. Please do your own research, unroasted chocolate has been around for a while, and has been chosen to be roster for a reason.

The man serving was very rude. We told him we didn't want sugar, and he was insulted and rude that we even asked, and we were served a drink *laced* with sugar. Will never come back or advise anyone to go there.
