IHOP Express San Diego Reviews
Friendly staff. Large space and sitting area! Great selection!
Nice location and small meeting room
The new renovation they did looks Awesome and coffee is good too...
I can afford coffee here once a month, nice to know I want get accosted due to my attire and I can go P
Great staff and leadership! Baristas always seem to be in a great mood. I love the community wall, I feel welcome whenever I visit!
This is easily the best Starbucks I've been to in the area. They make the drinks better than average and they're friendly. The Starbucks by the MWR near Pier 2 is nowhere near as good; go to this one instead. I choose this location whenever I can help it.
Went here on veterans day for the free breakfast pancakes, eggs, and bacon/sausage and thought it would be a nightmare with all the people already waiting on a table. It was nothing short of a great experience. They got us seated a lot quicker than expected. Our order came out quickly. And the quality of the food was surprisingly perfect. Best pancakes I've had in a while. Gonna have to return again soon.
I Actually Came Here For Some Delicious Pumpkin Spice Pancakes And Ordered The Sampler. Oh Yeah Definitely Wasn't Disappointed. Yup The Food Was Great Service Was Fantastic. I Totally Recommend This Place.
We came for a very late dinner and Rodolfo was our server. He was amazing and so genuine! He exhibited exceptional customer service and helped me on what to order (as I was debating between several items). My food tasted delicious and service was very prompt.
Any time I'm San Diego, I try to stop here if I'm going to have time to grab some breakfast. It's family friendly, but can get busy. The food is always on point, and the servers I've gotten are always friendly and patient. The food always come out hot, and they make sure my coffee doesn't go empty. I love getting their chile toreados. Somehow, all the ihops have spicy Serranos. They do have a kids menu and occasionally they have specials going on. Did you know they give you a free scoop of ice cream for your birthday? They also sing to you a happy birthday song! I am a little disappointed that they no longer carry the new York cheesecake style pancakes. They've changed it up by putting a layer of cream cheese on the pancakes with strawberry syrup vs the traditional chunks of cheesecake on the pancakes. Those were my favorite pancakes but other than that, I don't have any complains.
We were welcomed in as we stepped in to The establishment. The atmosphere felt welcomed The smell of maple syrup fills the air with the smell of coffee theres plenty of parking spots. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The staff is very sufficient and fast. The music is loud enough for it to be not completely overheard by your voice.
We went to breakfast on a Saturday around 10 am, and we were seated right away. Our server was very quick to come over to get our drink order. I had the savory breakfast crepes, which was so fantastic! It's like a French breakfast burrito filled with yummy goodness. My husband had the lemon ricotta blueberry crepes, which were light and refreshing. Definitely worth trying the crepes!
Great breakfast spot close to where I live. Great pancakes and omelets. I like how they conveniently leave a carafe of coffee on your table so you can have a refill whenever you are ready. Eliminates the problem of looking for a server to refresh your cup. I had the new New Mexico chicken plate. It was tasty but the chicken needs for grill flavor and the serving was not filling. The spicy Poblano omelet is really spicy. I like spicy but not for breakfast.
This is just a normal Starbucks. It's on Naval Base San Diego though so you need base access to go there. It's in the NEX complex (food court) so stop by while shopping.
Your average Starbucks the folks inside are very kind and do a fantastic job.
Very organized store with nice staff. Love spending some of my free mornings here.
This store is one of the few places open late near where I live. I appreciate that very much. Their food is always consistently above expectations..the service is fast, accurate, and polite.
This is the only commercial chain I can get good gluten free pancakes and they are still a great size.
Visiting on a weekday we were surprised how busy the place is. Wait time of 20mins. Banana and strawberry french toast was good as well as the omelette with serrano chili's. Its a lot of food we had to grab a box for the 3stacks of pancakes. Our server, Heather was really nice too? Always checking on us despite being busy with the other tables.
They recently stop taking online orders which is so discouraging. Drinks are not as good as before anymore. New workers seems not to pay so much attention with their customers. It takes the awhile before entertaining them. I hope they can improve their service.
Bought a grande cappucino, the cup was half full. Half of the cup is foam. The coffee doesn't seem to fill in a tall cup. 😬
I walked in, and one of the two workers were having a full blown conversation at the counter, so I waited fifteen minutes for them to stop chatting, which I wouldn't have minded uf their coworker hadn't been just standing around literally 3 feet away from the chatting women. Then the chatting woman behind the counter started making a drink, and the other one continued to do nothing. I got my drink but the efficiency could be improved.
IHOP is a great option if you’re looking for a quick American-style breakfast. The restaurant was quite busy, which shows how popular it is, but the service was still efficient. The menu has all the classic American breakfast items, making it easy to find something satisfying. If you’re in the mood for fast, casual American comfort food, this is definitely the place to go. I wouldn’t order black tea there again, though.
Store is nice and clean, staff friendly, unfortunately the lattes are not very good. Perhaps barista in training?
I dislike leaving bad reviews, but today, it was super disappointing, so I have to. For starters, my toddler was served his food in a chipped and dirty looking bowl! How is that bowl still being used? That's a safety hazard. Our server was the middle-aged woman, with black hair in a bun and dark eye makeup. She seemed to have somewhat of an attitude serving us. Like she was bored with her job. After we had ordered, we decided to add one small item. We never received it. Also asked for water, which took so long, and she wasn't busy serving anyone else. As a matter of fact, she kept going towards the back of the restaurant to sit down. Food was bleh. Do better.
What kind of humans are you?. I would love to pay evem a dolar to charge my phone during my trip.
Incorrect service hours posted. In the website is listed as 1900, in the store display has no specified closing hours Mon-Fri, but yet they are quick to close before 1900 as posted in the website.
Used the starbucks app at this location and it was hacked by someone at this location so be careful.
Why is this Starbucks cost more than all the other Starbucks in San Diego.
The worst Starbucks service we have ever received. We were just there about 5 minutes ago and we’re completely disturbed by the lack of customer service provided by the employees. The cashier openly stated, “I hate this job.” And the barista clearly had preferred to glare angrily at patrons as though smiling would be a difficult task. Not only is this a Starbucks store which deals with daily social interactions with its community but it is a Starbucks store that interacts daily with our military- which in most cases in my opinion deserve a level of respect or at the very least a smile. We will probably never go to this Starbucks store again, we only hope the employees receive proper coaching regarding quality customer care.
This place likes to charge extra for secret menu items that normally do not get charged at normal Starbucks. I paid almost $9 for a coffee here. This is ridiculous! And they made a little extra, and I asked the lady behind the counter, that since I paid almost $9 for the drink if I could have the little extra that they made. But she said “sorry, no,” as she drank it in front of me. December 9, 2017 (3:37 p.m.)
The worst Starbucks in the California. I wanna give it negative. When I ordered a double shot espresso over ice in a venti cup, the cashier didn’t say anything. But when I got my coffee, the barista told me they can not provide the espresso over ice in a venti cup, only in grande cup. So you charge me venti size and give me a grande size? And I asked ice in a venti cup, she told me need to charge me 50 cents for that. Do I need to pay 50 cents for a venti cup of water? I talked to the manger in the Starbucks, she said that was correct, they are licensed by Starbucks so they are special than the other Starbucks. The most important part is no sign shows they can not provide the normal espresso , they are licensed by Starbucks and they are different! Thanks for your different services to the persons who serve this country! Other than that, most of the time they don’t accept the Starbucks app and told you their system is down. And also waiting time is about 15minutes in morning.
Well people if you in the mood to be treated like a substandard person, and be the last one to be served, specially if the waiters has a regular customer, then this is the place to come. Every one that came after us and order after us was served first, specially the regulars. My food when finally arrived it looked bad and the first plate even had a hair on it,we order sunny side up eggs they look medium but like they were from 3 hours ago, they were dried, well just not appetizing. The second plate took another 5 minutes to show up and the crepes were badly wrapped and were not appetizing. They tried to make it better but they didn't succeed, and they reduced the amount of payment for the meal, but just not right for a place like this to treat customers this way. Once again good luck to you all when you come to this place, maybe you get lucky and are treated like a normal human being.
What a horrible experience for Veterans Day here in mission valley, San Diego Denny's service was terrible. You feel like why are you here? Bothering them.
I had a terrible experience at this IHOP. We sat down and waited patiently, but no one ever came to take our order—no greetings, no water, nothing. After a long wait, and asked 3 different waiter if they can take our order, I approached the manager to ask if someone could help us, and instead of apologizing or offering to fix the situation, he told me “you can leave if you want to.” Absolutely unacceptable behavior from someone in charge. I’ve never felt so disrespected at a restaurant. Needless to say, we won’t be coming back. If you value basic customer service, I suggest you go somewhere else. I hope the owner it’s looking at this review, because he needs to put attention on his people.
