Jordan San Diego Reviews
We had breakfast here and it was amazing!! Highly recommend the breakfast burrito! Service was great, a little slow but it's a great atmosphere to hang out and view the ocean.
Absolutely fantastic! Great bar and dining with a view. The tuna nachos were amazing!
Great location right on the water. Can use the hotel valet service which is very convenient. Great food and service from servers.
I recently enjoyed brunch at JRDN, located inside Tower 23 Hotel in Pacific Beach, and the experience was truly memorable. The menu was thoughtfully curated — not overly extensive, which I personally appreciate — yet every dish description sounded inspired and inviting, with creative takes on familiar brunch classics. That balance of focus and creativity set the tone for an excellent meal. A highlight of the visit was seeing Executive Chef Gabriel Merino, whose cuisine I’ve enjoyed at other locations in San Diego. He graciously visited our table, introduced himself, and walked us through several menu selections. His passion for the cuisine was evident, and his attentiveness elevated the entire dining experience, including a thoughtful check-in and a tasting of a specially created Valentine’s Day passion fruit cheesecake and a beautifully executed panna cotta with cherries — both exceptional. Having followed Chef Merino’s career, it was especially rewarding to see his continued success reflected in the quality and care coming out of the kitchen. JRDN delivers not only on food but on hospitality, and brunch there is well worth the visit.
Service was great, tomahawk was steakhouse quality, lobster sliders were amazing, and sushi/ceviche was fresh and tasty. This place is WAY better than it used to be after getting a new chef and doing some aesthetic improvements. There's massive screen in the bar area now as well.
This a hopping place right in the action of PB. The food was delish and the service was top notch. I love it when a restaurant has a team that works together to get the food and drinks out efficiently. They even gave us a complementary Chocolate mousse for my wife's birthday. Make a reservation!
Morning Glory is a brunch dream—over-the-top pink decor, massive chandeliers, and creative dishes that go way beyond basic. The soufflé pancakes were fluffy heaven, the shakshuka packed bold flavors, and the breakfast fried rice with pork belly was addictive. Great cocktails like the espresso martini, lively atmosphere, and outdoor seating. Perfect for a fun group outing, though it gets busy!
We recently held a celebration of life for my dad at this incredible restaurant, and I can’t imagine a more perfect place to honor him. The stunning ocean view provided a peaceful, uplifting backdrop that truly set the tone for the day. The staff went above and beyond — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. They handled everything with professionalism and compassion, making sure we felt supported throughout the entire event. And the food… absolutely fantastic. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — our guests are still talking about it! Big shout out to Robby and team who was incredibly helpful navigating the entire process. They were a pleasure to work with. I’m so grateful to the entire staff for helping us create such a special and memorable day.
JRDN at Tower23 exceeded our expectations. We were seated right on time at a perfect outdoor table with a sunset view. Drinks arrived quickly and set the tone for a great night. The mussels with chorizo were a highlight with a rich, savory broth. Our salmon and braised short rib were cooked perfectly, and the mac and cheese was the ideal side. Service and overall quality were outstanding. Ashley made us feel like VIPs and Arnold looked after every detail. We will gladly return and highly recommend it for a seaside date night.
The ribeye is the best! It's one of the best steak ever I eaten! I'm glad I decided to ask them to cook medium because they were a little overcooked to medium well - still perfect! My wife said salmon wasn't that bad. The baby carrots were pretty plain... The mashed potatoes were delicious!!!! Mac and cheese was good! The drinks were good!
Plans changed last minute and needed a restaurant in the Pacific Beach area to celebrate a birthday. Luckily we were able make a reservation on line for a party of 7. The restaurant is loud but not annoyingly so. Our server was very attentive to our needs. The food was DELICIOUS! I would definitely recommend this location for any occasion!!
It was amazing from start to finish. I booked online and Haily sat us. Everything was smooth, parking was free (with validation),bathrooms were clean and view was superb. Arnold was our server and just fantastic! The food was delicious, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese are phenomenal. Good portions and great service, we will be back. Thank you!
The food at JRDN was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I shared the steamed mussels and seafood platter. I don’t have words for how much I loved the mussels. The seafood platter was fresh, delicious and a great size to share. The view is immaculate even from indoors and the staff is very friendly.
This was an amazing dining experience! I recommend getting reservations on the patio, it was so nice to watch the sunset over the water and people watch. The bread was really good, definitely very different. The lobster risotto was very very good!!!! A must try!!!!! I will definitely be coming back here the next time I'm in town!
I recently enjoyed brunch here, and it was fantastic! The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made for a delightful experience. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious options, from classic breakfast dishes to inventive brunch creations. Every bite was fresh and flavorful, and the presentation was impeccable. Whether you're craving sweet or savory, this restaurant has something to satisfy every brunch craving. A definite must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious morning meal!
This place looks like it’s about to impress. Beautiful, upscale vibe with a sleek dining room and a big sports bar up front. Service was solid, and it definitely feels like a “special occasion” kind of spot. The Wagyu burger, though, was a letdown. Amazing fries, but the burger itself was surprisingly bland—even with grilled onions and cheese. For $26–$28, the “Wagyu” label felt more like marketing than magic. I’ve honestly had more flavorful burgers at In-N-Out (animal style), which isn’t a great look for a high-end burger. On the bright side, my wife’s risotto was excellent—easy 10/10. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the risotto was rich and flavorful, and even the waitress said it’s one of her favorite dishes (advice I should’ve taken). Bottom line: great atmosphere, good service, one standout dish—but skip the burger. I wouldn’t go out of my way to return unless someone else was choosing. Street parking only, mostly free if you’re lucky.
Excellent place for a sunset dinner with party vibes! Food is good and the only thing that can be slow is the service because it gets pretty busy. Other than that, a solid pick in Pacific Beach if you’re celebrating something with a larger group. We had a party of 8 and aside from some slight service delays, we enjoyed our time here. I got the Skirt Steak and it was cooked just the way I liked it. The Pork Chop was good too and very filling.
Get the mussels. We’ve been there a few times and the muscles are a highlight. There was one time we got them, and there was not much of the chorizo sausage, which was a bit of a disappointment because they weren’t as tasty that time. But every other time we’ve gotten them, they have been absolutely to die for. I think maybe the one time had just been an off night. But service is good views are nice and typically the food is amazing.
I ordered the Chilaquiles + Eggs and the Truffle Fries. The fries were cooked perfectly to a nice crisp. However, I couldn't taste the truffles. The garlic aioli was overwhelming the dish that it disguised the truffle. They should've been called garlic fries. I'm not too impressed by it. The chilaquiles had excellent crispy texture. The eggs were poached perfectly. Although, there wasn't enough seasoning that the dish tasted bland. Furthermore, the lime crema hardly had any lime taste to it. This restaurant was not too terrible, but not too great either.
