A recent addition to the neighborhood and it is soooo welcomed! Such a great vibe, menu, and staff. We have ordered delivery thru apps, pick-up, and dined in and all were enjoyable ways to get down! One of my favorites is the Chinese Chop - I add chicken :) other salad pictured is the East Coast. You must try Mary’s Salads if you’re in town!

The bright, clean brick walls and beautiful mural feels welcoming. It’s the kind of space that feels suited for a casual lunch after the beach or a purposeful stop for a healthy meal. What truly elevates Mary’s Salads, however, is staff. The team was friendly, accommodating, and impressively knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful suggestions and answering questions with ease. I ordered “The East Coast” salad, and it was outstanding. The combination of sliced Italian meats, crispy bacon, fresh tomatoes, and chicken was bomb. Each ingredient tasted fresh and intentional, with generous portions that didn’t overwhelm the dish. It’s a salad that feels substantial enough to satisfy, but still aligning with a clean approach to food.

I’m so excited that the highly anticipated Mary’s Salads has finally (soft) opened on Cable Street next to Dirty Birds. I’ve heard nothing but great things about their La Jolla location, so I had to stop by and see what all the buzz was about. After my first bite/first visit, I can confidently say, it not only lived up to that hype but well exceeded it. OB, we have something special here! I ordered the Santa Fe Salad in a large, made with romaine, spring mix, avocado, queso fresco, cherry tomatoes, corn, black beans, fresh cilantro, tortilla chips, and their housemade chipotle southwest dressing. I added chicken, and everything was perfectly tossed before its served in a bowl so each bite had that excellent balanced mix of flavors. I could honestly go on and on about this salad, but I’ll just keep it short to the point and say IT IS the best Santa Fe salad I’ve ever had!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Also the staff and owner, Michael, were incredibly welcoming. Since I have Mondays off, I’m starting my own little tradition: “Mary Mondays” which I’ll be trying a new salad each week for the next few weeks or however long. 😁 Can’t wait to go back!

Came to Mary's Salads on day one, loved it, came back on day two like a loyal customer already. It tried the summer breeze and the The Med and both were amazing with lots of flavor. Told Michael I'm here for a couple months while taking care of my mom after her surgery and he immediately hit me with "what a great son" and handed me a cookie. This man knows hospitality. I was ready to order the same exact salad as yesterday, but Michael told me to live a little and try something new. Ended up getting The Med salad and it was fire. Ben made it perfect. Great food, even better people. See you guys soon.

The new shop is super cute, workers are always super friendly and sweet and the food is BOMB!! I actually cannot get enough of these salads I get them every weekend and lemme tell you- they’re exactly what I need every single time. Healthy, filling, and freaking DELICIOUS!!!

You can tell everything is made with care, and the quality is consistently excellent. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and service is quick even when it’s busy. It’s the perfect spot for a healthy, satisfying meal. I highly recommend Mary’s Salads to anyone looking for fresh, delicious food done right.

I was so excited when Mary’s Salads opened in OB! We needed a great, affordable, healthy and delicious option in OB, and Mary’s most certainly delivers. Fresh, high quality, and diverse ingredients and more than enough combinations available to satisfy even picky palates like mine! :) It is absolutely spotless inside, and the service is warm and welcoming. The beautiful ceramic bowls make the presentation even more bright & beautiful. My only suggestion is if you could please add a description of what is in each of your dressings to your online menu, we would greatly appreciate it. Welcome to OB, we love you Mary’s Salads!

I absolutely LOVE everything about this salad shop! It’s a feel good neighborhood place that is getting a big fan following. They offer options for Carnivores, Vegetarians and Vegans. The vegan Superfood salad is made exceptional by the addition of goji berries and a sensational green goddess dressing. I will be getting this salad as often as possible!

Ocean Beach needed a restaurant like this! Mary’s kitchen has a great selection of specialty salads as well as the option to build your own. The service is very knowledgeable and kind. Don’t pass up the seasonal soup, it’s soooo good. I love the options to add whichever protein you desire and am impressed with the quality of the products. Featuring cage free eggs! Great flavors, fresh ingredients, and friendly staff. It’s nice to eat out of a real salad bowl (they’re also pretty). The space is bright and clean, but even if you’re taking your salad to go, they’ve got you covered. The Med and Super Food are favorites. Was there today and can’t wait to go back!

Mary's salads just opened around the corner from me and I could not be more excited. They have a ton of cool recipes and flavor combos that I wouldn't have thought of myself. Actually obsessed……. There is nothing better than Mary’s Salads. I have been a fan of this place since their original location in La Jolla and now they are finally open in Ocean Beach! The ingredients are top notch and freshness is their top priority here. You can taste the quality and care in every bite. I always leave here feeling satisfied and well serviced. They have a great crew and the vibes in the new location are immaculate. I truly can’t get enough I am working my way through the whole menu and have not been disappointed once. Every salad is well curated and the ratio of goodies to lettuce can’t be beat. I have to hold myself back from ordering here everyday day for lunch and dinner. I think I could survive on only Mary’s salads.

The flavors of my “Rustic Comfort” were unctuous and unmatched!! SO GOOD would recommend!! I also love their salads a lot but those are good all year round. This soup is seasonal so get it while you can me and my family love it!!

Happy there’s finally a salad place in OB! We both enjoyed our salads but I do NOT recommend the seasoned tofu add-on. I ordered it for my Chinese Chop and it was unfortunately so dense and hard I was shocked tofu could be so bad. Left it all in the bowl. I would like a refund on my $4.95 😂

I would highly encourage you to save your money, and chop your own lettuce at home. I have been in twice to the new location, first time I came the brothers who I presume are the owners had a weird passive aggressive tone towards staff. Sweet greens is a better priced, and way fresher.
