⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolute Must-Try! What an amazing experience at New York West Restaurant in San Diego! From the moment we sat down, everything was on point — the service was fast, friendly, and full of good vibes. Huge shoutout to Cody, Jenisha, and Chef Andrew for making our night extra special. The food was 🔥 fire 🔥 — the Chicken Piccata was perfectly cooked with the most delicious sauce, and the Kraken Calamari was next-level good! Every bite was perfection. You can tell this team loves what they do — great energy, amazing food, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back!

We were visiting from out of town and chose New York West based on reviews praising their gluten-free pizza and I’m glad we did. Here’s the truth: that pizza was perfect. The gluten-free crust was excellent crispy, flavorful, and hands down the best I’ve ever had. I’ve tried plenty of gluten-free pizzas, and this one takes the #1 spot. Unfortunately, they don’t deliver across state lines (yet 😅), but the next time we’re in San Diego, we’ll definitely be back. Easy 5 stars.

Our server Angel Gonzalez was the best! From the start we felt super welcomed. Tables were put together for our party. Service was great! Food was perfect and I even got to try a local beer 🍺 Thank you can’t wait to visit again!

We stayed at Embassy Suites and New York West is right next door. It did not disappoint! Delicious! The brussel sprouts appetizer is a VERY generous portion. Was almost too much for 2 people. Roasted crisp with amazing sauces. The burger was done just right with yummy fries. The Caesar salad also excellent! Excellent location in San Diego and fabulous food.

Great burger and the truffle fries added a slightly different taste that went with the burger wonderfully. Brought my picky eater of a daughter and she loved the food on the kid's menu.

Found this restaurant after being told we would have a 2 hour wait at the national chain restaurant across the street. So glad we gave it a try. Great service and delicious food, and in and out within an hour. I didn't get a picture of the humongous burger because my daughter immediately dived in, but she said it was great. My husband and other daughter shared the Meatza pizza and said it was perfect. I had the cheese steak and it was definitely at the top of the list of cheesesteaks I've had. It became steadily busier as we were there but our server continued to give us great service.

Absolutely wonderful food and service. The parmesan garlic wings were wonderful. Crispy and very flavorful. The pizza was crisp, cooked well and excellent flavor. Or server Phil was awesome and next time we're in town I'll definitely be back.

I love this place for hand tossed pizzas and happy hour. The beer selection is great and a full bar. The menu is large with plenty of good choices. We enjoy the patio for people watching and hanging out before our evening downtown.

Good pizza at a decent price. We tried the classic pepperoni and another one called the caracota, so good. Service was friendly and fast. No complaints today. They had sports on. It was a slow thanksgiving day lunch.

We had a meet and greet dinner for our wedding guests here. We mainly picked this place because other restaurants wanted to charge $1,000+ for a buyout, whereas they only have a $200 fee for set up. They accommodated 70 people on their patio. We were able to pre order most of our food and they had it ready right at the time that was requested. We mainly ordered pizzas which were delicious. We only had one server for our party who was taking all of our drink orders. I forgot his name but he was a great server, very quick and efficient. My only complaint was that the speakers on the patio didn't work so we didn't have any music, but other than that we had a great time.

We went to New York West twice and it was the one of the best restaurant we ate on San Diego. The pizza was freshly made, the wings were well cooked, and the staff were extremely friendly. Definitely recommend if you are near the area.

It's a nice little hotel bar. I had some bread sticks, churros and ice cream, and a couple drinks. The wait staff were amazing and friendly! I personally would go back just for their great staff!

Missed the mark with me. Their pizza and appetizer home made potato chips with onion dip were both decent, but tasted pre-made made and then warmed up when ordered. Reasonable prices though, and pleasantly/efficiently served.

The pizza was good, except for too little meat (e.g., two cubes of ham, no sausage, and 3-4 pepperonis), more like a vegan pizza.

An Embassy Suites hotel restaurant with God awful service. They’re not busy, they have 4 wait staff, about 8 tables occupied, and we waited 25 minutes for drinks and over 70 minutes for food. To be clear, I’m writing this 70 minutes into having no food still so it’s 70+ minutes. My kids got their food at minute 55 since ordering it. My wife and I…not so much. Probably leaving soon. An update: After 90 minutes we asked them to cancel our order since my wife and I had yet to get our food.
