Went to the new Panchos Mex Grill and enjoyed the Euro Cup while indulging a tasty Torta Especial alongside a bottled Coca~Cola! Friendly staff and clean restaurant. Try the Chile Verde burrito also!
Driving for Uber got stuck by the border and had to charge my EV so I came to check this spot out. Surf n Turf nachos are excellent! The shrimp are as big as an elephant’s head! @RurrTheElephant
Amazing food and customer service! Highly recommend!

My Cali fries were amazing! And the salsas were all very tasty! 10/10. Excited to dine in and try other things. Good vibes going in as well!
Food is delicious and big portions. Place is clean and excellent customer service. I enjoy having a beer while waiting for my food. Make sure to check out the salsa bar, they have a tasty variety.
Great Mini Tacos for the price. Breakfast served all day. Inside and outside seating with beer on tap!
Best taco shop around. The Cali Burrito is packed with flavor and super filling. Staff is friendly, service is fast, and the vibes are great

California burrito was amazing 10/10 recommend can’t go wrong with the birria quesadilla as well super tasty and definitely made fresh. Location was very clean and a lot of parking in front so very convenient. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Recommend any of their locations throughout San Diego!
The good, the so-so, and the rating.....Overall the food is good, to start off. The Carne Asada Chips were the best I have had, the tacos are good, but did notice it said ground beef on the roll tacos so that was out. Carne asada fries were ok, I had one with chipotle and bacon and the fries have this seasoning and the bacon bits for me it was too salty, I think it was because of the seasoned fries, which other places don't use. So I was not a fan of that. Torta was good, but for the price it should have been a lot more healthier. Great little salsa bar, with (i think vinegar?) flavored onions they are great. The menu is large for such a small place, and the prices are on the high end, I don't mind paying higher but everything has to be on point if I can just roll down the street for the same thing, at a cheaper price. Customer service, could be improved, I have only gone in the day time to be fair, and the lady behind the counter is good at what she does but not on the welcoming side. The atmosphere, is a little better looking than a normal taco shop. They have outdoor seating and as you walk in on your right they have 2 booths, and a music playing on a speaker, in the corner under one booth, we sat in that corner and that was a mistake. The music was turned up and we could not have a conversation because you are right under a speaker with music playing, they should consider moving the speaker to the other corner where the bathroom is at, no seats over on that corner. I notice dead plants outside, and paint missing on wall near that corner, (home depot right behind them!). And they had a beer display on the shelf, probably 8 or so, but they have a Coors Light neon sign and they don't seem to have Coors Light for sale, well at least not displayed that they sell it like the other. One TV has ESPN, which is great, but the other one had Judge Judy than some game show, why wouldn't both TV's be on ESPN, you don't need sound for sports, like you do for a game show. Over all good rating, food is good, quality of the food is good, in fairness I have only visited in the day time, I think they can do better customer service. Overall I will be going back, I still want to try some Items on the menu, but prices should be considered and they don't offer a military discounts, in a military town. The place did not have a lot of people when it first opened, but it is starting to pick up, every time we have gone, different times of the day they are picking up more customers, which should tell you that people do like it and it is good food. Get a movie in, then go over and try it out. I would say a 4 out of 5.

I dined in and got loaded rolled tacos with beans, that was delicious I enjoyed it. The cashier was great and understood what my family and I asked. It wasn’t until I ordered a simple Cali burrito to go to take to my husband and another cashier showed up since the previous girl left. The other cashier got my order wrong and the cooks messed up my husband’s order. Be careful eating the shrimp there, they don’t devain the shrimp so the poop is still inside of them when you eat it. And he said, the shrimp had the consistency of mashed potatoes. I’d recommend not to eat their seafood.
I've only gone once, and was underwhelmed by how bland the breakfast burrito I got was. Might have been a 4 if they would just add salt and pepper to the eggs. I will try again because the people working there were extremely friendly and the place was very nice looking and clean.

We ordered a California burrito and Panchos nachos. They accommodated our special request to switch the meat in the nachos, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the amount of inedible pork fat that was mixed with our meat. A quarter of the meat was just fat and not even cooked properly. It was still very rubbery and hard to chewy, adobada should be crispy and tasty. I am not a picky eater but this is hard to eat because it is rubbery and chewy.

I feel like when they first opened the food was so bomb but now that they have the traffic that they need coming in & out of there they stopped caring about the quality of their food and customer service. Husband and I decided to stop by for lunch and we ordered 7 seas soup, shrimp taco, pollo asado taco and shrimp quesadilla…. The only thing that was good was the soup….. the quesadilla had way too much rice (soggy rice) & cheese, plus the whole quesadilla was soggy (don’t know what was up with that), the shrimp taco was fried which I felt is something that should be in the description on the menu because I never seen a fried shrimp taco before. Also the pollo asado taco was off. Overall the food left a bad Taste in our mouth for $60. Again customer service could’ve been better. There were two women at the front counter and the one with the dark hair was pleasant. But the one with the blonde hair could use a little more customer service training. I don’t think we’ll be back because I am so disappointed about this experience. But these are all things that can be changed so hopefully you all take this review as constructive criticism.

A Promising Start with Room for Improvement I recently visited Pancho's, the newly opened restaurant in our neighborhood, and had a mixed experience. While the food was undeniably delicious (the fish tacos were a highlight!), the service fell short in some areas. Upon arrival, the employee at the door was engrossed in a phone call, neglecting to welcome customers. Additionally, the cashier struggled with English, which made communication challenging. I understand that language barriers aren't inherently problematic, but in our neighborhood, where communication is key, it's essential. Moreover, the menu lacked flexibility, with no options for substitutions. I drew parallels with Menolo's Seafood Restaurant, which failed to thrive in our neighborhood due to similar issues - neglecting customer greetings and menu rigidity. Despite these setbacks, I believe Pancho's has potential. The food quality is exceptional, and with minor adjustments, they can win over the hearts (and taste buds) of our working-class community. I hope management takes our feedback to heart and makes the necessary changes to ensure long-term success. Good luck, Pancho's!
Honestly the worst food I’ve had in San Diego. Don’t waste your time. Had a Cali burrito and Jamaica. Their Jamaica is fake and from a machine. The burrito has shitty meat and no quality ingredients.
Ordered three adobada tacos and they were filled will mostly pieces of fat.🤢 gross
They have terrible customer service. I waited almost 20 minutes for a simple burrito. I tried to cancel, but they told me they couldn't refund my money. It takes too long, and the staff is rude. If you go, try to go without hunger and with a lot of patience.

Horrible, I first went on opening day and the person messed up my order, I asked for beans and rice on the side of a California burrito. It came with it inside. So they re-did it and there was hardly any meat and fries inside a flimsy small burrito. I gave them a second chance today thinking they worked out all the kinks. Nope. I ordered a California burrito and when it came it was small flimsy had hardly any meat and fries. This place has the smallest California burritos I ever had in my life. Never eating here again. And it was pricey for no meat and no fries in a greasy, flimsy burrito.
Ordered here twice but I would never give it another chance. I got went through sickening pain last week after having a California burrito from here and thought nothing of it but had some same reaction last night. The female cashier who helped me was cleaning before I got there and all the way until I left and never did I recall her wash her hands or replace her gloves when serving my drink and food. She never even checked to see how everything was. I called today and spoke to a female cashier who said I have to call the owner after 3. I would think this would be something important to report to the owner. Instead she continues to talk to another customer she’s helping instead of placing me in hold. I think it shows that they don’t care about food and health code violations. Check the cameras!!
I order some carne asada fries for my kids and they only serve me 10 pieces of meat and the rest fries. food wasn't good either worst taco shop
I was the only customer from 1-2pm. I was with my toddler and the lady working the front counter had terrible customer service. You go in and order at the counter and seat yourself. I chose a table and with a toddler on my hip, I grabbed the high chair from a stack in the corner because she didn’t both to ask or offer to grab one. I was seated 10ft from the counter and again THE ONLY CUSTOMER and when it was ready, she placed my order on the counter and called it out. I was confused but got up to get it no problem. After an hour went by she happened to be wiping something down behind me so I kindly asked for a box. She went behind the counter and AGAIN placed the box on the counter and said here are your boxes. It’s almost like she does it on purpose. I 100% want to take my tip back but it was digital. The food was alright, my enchiladas were warm, so the cheese inside was not melted. Carne asada fries were good Place was clean
Theres only one server and all she does is take your order, even if you tip well and it is not busy. She doesnt take it to your table and if you want utensils or napkins, you have to ask for them. Not sure if they expect us to eat with our hands. Cali burrito was a 2/10 compared to others in the area. Guacamole was almost white, def not fresh. Do not recommend.

Ordered some surf and turf chips to go. Got home a saw that they put them on top of a three partion to go box so that it looked full. Only had three shrimp and a lot of cheese with little carne asada. And paid almost $20.00 basically for some chips and cheese.... I don't recommend this place unless you want to get ripped off, Just saying....
