Sisters Pizza San Diego Reviews
Best slice in San Diego! Yes, better than Bronx. Super fresh and crust is the perfect thin/crispy. Good neighborhood atmosphere too. We also got the Sisters Salad which was incredibly disappointing for $18. The veggies were fresh, but the greens were tasteless romaine hearts and the dressing is just a store bought balsamic. Meh. Would give the pizza 10/10 though!
What a great pizza by the slice joint! Very friendly service, large assortment of pies available and even had 3 vegetarian options. The interior and patio are nice. The mind blowing thing is they know how to really move a line of folks efficiently. A lot of other restaurants and breweries could learn from this place on how to quickly serve people in a friendly manner. Great neighborhood spot for sure.
We eat here about twice a month, and this place never misses. Last night I came in craving the meatball sub, but the chicken parmigiana pizza was calling my name. Somewhere between craving and counter, I must have mixed things up—because when my food came out, it was a chicken parm sandwich instead. Total user error! The owner happened to be right there, and when I explained what happened, she couldn’t have been sweeter. She immediately offered to fix it with a smile. The cashier was just as lovely—he even offered me garlic knots after I mentioned I wasn’t really in the mood for fries or a salad. They really go the extra mile here, and the fun, welcoming neighborhood vibe is exactly why we keep coming back. If you haven’t been yet, definitely check it out :)
It was on October 24th Friday. Me, my son, my nephew, and my son’s friend definitely had an amazing experience here in sisters pizza, my nephew said that was one of the best pizzas he’s ever had. I truly agree 💯. I work at the knotstop and I always walk pass by and I ate it one time and wow! I was really impressed! I can definitely tell they make the pizza with a lot of love and passion. So I wanted to take the boys here for dinner and these boys really enjoyed it very much. I also did too. We will definitely return back again for a second round. Lol the female employee that was taking our order, she made my night. She said that she I look really young to be a dad lol. She was shocked that I told her that I am 40 years old 😂. I said well thank you so much. I told her she looks young herself.
Sisters Pizza is one of my all time favorite restaurants in San Diego! The vibes are immaculate, staff is always extremely kind and welcoming, and the food is delicious!! Sisters is perfect for a celebration or for a quick lunch. The Uncle Jesse pizza is my favorite. The fried artichoke appetizer is also a can’t miss. I’ve never had trouble finding a seat, even when it’s crowded. They also offer great to-go options!
This is an excellent place to get a slice of pizza 🍕. The pizza 🍕 me and my parents had here came out nice and hot just like the way I love it. The service was very friendly and the overall ambiance of the place was quite nice for a pizza 🍕 place. It was a very enjoyable experience for me wile I was on vacation to San Diego. I give them 5 stars ⭐️.
The pizza and Salad is exceptional! The pizza crust is so fresh and buttery! The quality of ingredients is phenomenal! The customer service is top tier! The vegetarian options were yummy! Even the owner was taking orders and getting the job done! 🍕🍕🍕 I love it here! I enjoyed looking at the throwback pictures on the walls that are full of memories!
Awesome pizza not very thin still has a doughy feel to it with a bit of a crunchy bite. Definitely would recommend eating your pizza once its warm. It'll taste different once you let it get cold the crust won't be ideal anymore it would be more chewy by then unless maybe you warm it up again. Definitely recommend the pesto and the cheesy uncle one.
We ended up here after going to the SD Zoo, and I’m glad we did. We got the Chicken Parmesan pizza and it was great. We also got a small order of garlic knots that were really good too. We got the 16” pizza which is more than enough for two people. This is a good laid back pizza place that sits in a neighborhood. The outside seating area is larger than the inside and nice. We got there just in time because 20 minutes later the place was packed. Parking is a bit of a pain. Fourth Street is paid parking and spots were limited. After a little bit, I found a free spot on Brookes Avenue which runs next to the business.
I appreciate a pizza place that offers slices all day long and not just for lunch. I got two slices - they were awesome. The key for a good pizza IMO are two things. The sauce and the crust. Sisters delivers on both. The sauce had a nice flavor, but wasn’t overpowering. And the crust was absolutely divine. Fantastic combination of crunch and chew. If you typically don’t eat the crust, you will want to here. Definitely give this place a go and I you won’t be disappointed.
Best pizza in San Diego!! Slices are excellent NY style, fantastic prices, have yet to find a better fried calamari either. The neighborhood and the overall atmosphere - awesome. I’ve gone a couple times a week over the last month as it’s easy to get to. Staff is super friendly. Do not miss out on the ranch dressing, it’s homemade and outshines all others. I frequently get Ms. Piggy, Uncle Jesse, Obecian, and Chicky Chicky Parm. Love them all.
This is probably the best New York style pizza I’ve ever had in San Diego. We lived in NYC for years and we brought our friends here who grew up in Brooklyn. We all loved here so much. The pizza is so thin so juicy and flavorful! I highly highly recommend! Even their salad is so delicious. The service is so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is kinda small but very comfortable, they have a big patio outdoor so there are plenty of seats. We will definitely come back!
We absolutely enjoyed this place. We were looking for a place to watch the playoffs. They had a couple of TVs, great food, good service and a very very chill vibe. Please note, this is not a sports bar by any means but it does have a very very nice outdoor patio. Heaters for the winter and shade for the warmer weather. Great place. Definitely be back. We shared some mozzarella sticks, buffalo cauliflower and a chicken Parmesan pizza. We had a great time and will definitely be back.
Excellent pizza spot. Parking is tough and the place is small so I would recommend it for a smaller group. I got the Pepperoni Patty and took it home. It was absolutely delicious. The service was great!
The soup of the day was great and they heated up the sliced pizza. Find a table, then go order at the counter. You are given a number. Ordering can take a bit so it's a bit of a log jam. They bring the food to you. There are bottled drinks and fountain drinks to the left upon entering and there is a bathroom to the right. We were not sure if we were supposed to bus our table because of the barrel table outside. I tried the pepperoni which had small pepperonis on it. The basil and mushroom was good as well. I can't wait to try more. The salads looked good! There is a heater outside. I'd go again and I'd like to know the origin of the name.
Good selections of pizzas by the slice or individual. They have a few good salad options for the heather side. Or you could go the opposite direction and get the delicious garlic knots. Plenty of options. The have beer, wine, and soda to wash the food. This is a good place for medium size parties because everyone can pay at the counter separately.
