I visited here on New Years Day hoping to find a lunch spot after a long run and Tacos El Panson delivered. The salsa bar was stocked, the food came quickly, and the service was friendly and attentive. We came hungry and enjoyed our food. I had the three tacos special with a drink which was super affordable with the fish, chicken, and carnitas tacos served alongside beans and rice. The fried fish had a slight aftertaste from the oil but the serving size and meat were good and filling. I also tasted the carne asada California burrito and the tortilla was perfect. I hope to return and try more tacos, especially the adobada which I regret not ordering. The mild salsa is perfectly smoky and a little sweet, but all three options were packed with flavor.

This is still my favorite place for Tacos in all of San Diego. I just realized I've never reviewed this place. My traditional order is are always the Carne Asada Tacos, Al Pastor, and Tripa . Tortillas are hand made this is a big deal because they must use high quality cornmeal. All the meat have good flavor and are high quality and the tripas are crunchy not soggy like other places. They have plenty of self-service salsas to choose from . I always go for the hottest one. I've been coming here for years and still is the best Tacos in all of San Diego County. Only down side is parking is tough to find

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tacos El Panson, a fantastic Mexican food that left me completely satisfied. The variety of Mexican food I tried was all delicious and full of flavor. Let's start with the burrito. It was bursting with fresh ingredients like grilled meat, fresh guacamole, and cheese. Each bite was a delightful mix of textures and flavors. The mulita was another standout. The combination of tender meat, melted cheese, and toasted tortillas were heavenly. It was a delicious treat for my taste buds. I couldn't resist trying the quesabirria, and it did not disappoint. The juicy meat, crispy tortilla, and flavorful cheese were a match made in foodie heaven. As a side, I ordered the fries, which were perfectly golden and seasoned just right. They added a satisfying crunch to my meal. Last but not least, the enchilada plate was a true winner. The enchiladas were filled with a mouthwatering blend of ingredients and topped with a flavorful sauce and melted cheese. It was a tasty celebration of Mexican flavors. The service at Tacos El Panson was exceptional. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, creating a pleasant eating experience. In conclusion, Tacos El Panson is a must-visit Mexican restaurant. Their burrito, mulita, quesabirria, fries, and enchilada plates are all fantastic choices. If you're looking for a delicious Mexican feast, don't hesitate to give them a try. Your taste buds will thank you!

Came here after work around 2:30 pm on a Thursday. Overall not too busy but really easy to order. I got a Carne Asada Burrito, Adobada Taco, Fish Taco and Carne Asada Taco. The tortilla was extremely fresh, amazing taste. The meat was solid but nothing too out of the ordinary. As for parking, I was lucky to find metered parking in the front, I assume parking can get tricky when the restaurant gets busier. Nice employees and solid food.

I left 4 stars only because there is no place to park and the taste of the taquitos is good but nothing spectacular. They are very well served and at a good price 👌🏼. The attention was very friendly and good too.

Solid taco spot on El Cajon! My good friend took me here and we had a great meal! I personally had the carne asada, lengua, and pastor tacos. Salsa is self serve, The tacos are on the 2-3 biter size. I did enjoy the carne asada the most! Seating inside. Street parking is extremely tough during peak hours. Surcharge for card use, so I recommend bringing cash.

Typically everything is great, yesterday I met up with my son for lunch, unfortunately the service and food was below their standards. The young lady at the counter had a bad attitude. The Tacos de Buche smelled funny, I ate them anyways which I suffered the consequences later. The Salsa Bar was good but missing the radish. The Cabeza & Asada Tacos were delicious.

I think they changed owners here, cause I went there the day after Thanksgiving… I purchased a Carne Asada Burrito It was full of fat… You could tell the cook didn’t care and it’s unacceptable… I tried contacting the place, but all they do is give me a battle. This is the first time this place ever lets me down… And I’m only doing this because the guy thought that I was lying to him and he didn’t wanna make it better. He just wanted to argue and prove himself right and told me that oh well basically just take a loss..
