Urban Bubble San Diego Reviews
Had the creme brulee brown sugar boba. 1/2 sweetness is perfect. So good! Parking is tough though
Quick order kiosk. Very chill place. Orders come out quickly. Creme brule brown sugar is the best.
Very nice and delicious boba! I had a signature urban milk tea, with 0 sugar and 0 ice, it is awesome!! It’s still slightly sweet and with the yummy milky cheese foam on the top, it’s nice balanced. I love it. The young man cashier is very patient and welcoming. I think he’s really professional and helpful.
Decorated for Christmas time! Has snacks, lots of options. Clean, friendly. Attached to the new coffee shop next door.
This is our new favorite boba place in SD. The smoothies are icy thick (not watery) which always gives me a brain freeze but I still love it. Can't go wrong with taro, mango, pink bubble and matcha. The taro boba had more taro flavor than other establishments. Reasonable prices than Daboba. We ordered at the kiosk and somehow they didn't find our drink. After waiting 25 minutes we asked about it to the counter staff. They did prioritize making our drinks
Stumbled on this cute new place serving Korean hotdogs and bubble tea. They had some unique flavors so we had to try. Staff was good at explaining what ingredients would go well together. The hotdogs were fresh and hot. The bubble teas were yummy and unique. Will definitely be back!
One of my favorite late night boba spots!!!! It does get a little crowded in the evening, especially on weekends but the boba and food is delicious. Although the space is small, there are lots of seating, we have never had an issue. When busy be prepared for a bit of a wait but overall the food and drinks are good and the dining space is great. There’s a small parking lot but might have to find street parking.
Went during their buy 2 get on free promo! Good drinks, love ssongs hotdogs and the space is clean and modern. Parking on Mercury street since the lot was full. Lots of people in line, longer wait for drinks. But totally understandable for a place being new. I recommend their chicken bites, and the waffle fries that tastes like jbox. I would return !
My new favorite boba place!!! An original San Diego boba spot with milk teas, fruit teas, and speciality drinks that are uniquely made just by Urban Bubble. There's so many options of milk teas that are infused with things, such as strawberry purée, creme brûlée, lemon/lime juice, or orange juice. I tried their Urban milk tea which has creme brûlée and brown sugar, and it's chefs kiss. I also got their mango yogurt, which is blended with cheese cream and Greek yogurt.. also amazing. I love their interior, decorations, lighting, and logo. There's many seating options, definitely can come to hang out or study here. I cant wait to try many more of their drinks!!!
Really cute spot and yummy food! Parking is a bit tricky, especially those of us in trucks xD But will definitely be back! The rice cakes are really good!
Very cute cafe. The Urban Milk Tea and Taro Bubble were very good but still very sweet even at 50% sweetness. The potato corn dog was good but not the best I have had.
I love the atmosphere, space and quality of drinks. Screen self order. Good design.

I've ordered from here so many times and have not been disappointed. I usually get the taro or mango sago. Never tried any of their food though. Anyway, highly recommend Urban Bubble for a Bubble tea fix.
Got a chance to finish our night cap at Urban Bubble! The kiosk ordering seems to be the point of choice for the service staff. Coming on a Saturday evening, around 8pm. Staff seemed overwhelmed and flustered. Once putting in our order, it was about a 25-minute wait. Got a chance to try Taro Bubble with Lychee Jelly and one with Sago. For $6 base drink, this was an overall well-rounded find! The taro was not artificial, and the sago was the perfect texture! Overall, would revisit again!
We ordered some snacks and Boba. The smoothies with Boba are amazing; really great flavors. The sausage and rice cake skewers were unique and a tasty snack, as were the fried calamari. The flavors on the basil popcorn chicken were delicious, but the chicken itself was very dry.Overall, we would visit this spot again!
Ordered online for pickup and our big order was ready when we arrived. They didn't give us any utensils for the food. The chocolate bubble and the Mango sago drinks were good (50% sweet). The chicken sandwich was too spicy; it came with regular fries (can switch to waffle fries for $1 more). The rice combo and popcorn chicken were good compared to some other places. Parking is limited.
Very cute boba shop with lots of creative drink options. I don't often like blended drinks, but the honeydew bubble was great! I only give 4 stars because the drinks are unexpectedly very sweet by default as compared to other boba shops. My friends and I tried a blended drink, a fruit tea, and a milk tea, and all were very very sweet. If you don't want a sugar rush, go for 50% sweetness or below as even 75% was a little much for me.

The place was full on a Sunday late afternoon. We tried the Jasmine Green milk tea and dragonfruit drink. Drinks we're ok. I was hoping to taste the tea more than being overpowered by the milk. My milk tea had some taro pudding too, but i can't really taste it. It was more for texture.

Nice little boba spot on convoy. Parking is a little small but thats usual in convoy. Easy to order kiosk, very reasonable priced .
Cool place to hang out and chill. They have hot food along with the yummy "bubble" teas. They expanded to a space next door (the different name escapes me right now). Young crowd. Poppi music. Usually a good size of peeps there. Can get backed up when crowded. Still a great place to get great food..parking can be a challenge!
I ordered the crème brûlée brown sugar boba on DoorDash for pickup. When I arrived after the estimated pick up time, it was still not ready. I waited about 5-10 minutes until it was since the shop looked busy. The parking lot is really small and tight. I was surprised to see how many people were hanging out in the shop but they do have many tables, nooks, seating with WiFi. The workers were friendly and apologized for the wait. I was late for an appointment so had to take the drink to go. Crème brûlée brown sugar boba - delicious flavor and the *cooked* bobas were good, but sadly about 1/4 of the boba were crunchy then I realized they were raw! This is the first time I have ever been served raw boba. :( I’m sure they would’ve fixed the boba if I was still in shop but I didn’t have time to go back. My husband’s drink had raw boba too.

Ordered a matcha latte and got a clumpy, bitter mess instead. It was undrinkable—even an electric frother couldn’t save it. Tasted like dirt and disappointment. Honestly, I’ve had better luck mixing matcha at home with a spoon. Total waste of money. Never again.
We ordered 12 bobas (3 flavors, 4 cups per each flavor) through a delivery app. We found some tens of plastic pieces from two of Taro-flavor ones, so we had to throw the remaining two away. It was a terrible experience. Very small pieces of them could have been eaten without my realizing it. If those foreign objects had been broken glass instead of plastic, I could have been seriously injured.
