Delicious cakes and drinks. I also had a great experience because one of their associates took her time to help me figure out a drink i would like and gave me an excellent suggestion which is now my favorite drink at this cafe. Thank you Frances for your patience and knowledge. I highly suggest their pudding milk tea.

Nice bread and great bakshop ambiance.

I come here pretty often on my lunch breaks! The pastries are always perfectly made, and I'll usually get the passion fruit green tea with boba, which is always delicious. The prices on the pastries go as low as $1, from what I've seen! They also have seasonal treats and really creative limited-time drinks!

I was able to go pick up a few favorites prior to my 9am doctors appointment, even though they technically open at 9. They were still bringing out many of the baked goods but everything was hot and fresh in the bags, and they had both the cheesy hot dog and ham and cheese already out. Service was fast and friendly, and parking plentiful this early in the morning.

Fast efficient and good foods. When I'm not super hungry and I just need a quick snack, 85° always has something that works.

The perfect quick and cheap pastry place on the go! 85 degree bakery has a wonderful selection of sweet and savory baked goods that are very good for their price as well as some great drinks in case you start feeling thirsty. The separation of the bakery style goods that you can choose without worrying about taking time to order and the restaurant style counter for when you want something fresher or a boba/coffee means that most people will be able to find something they enjoy and the seating lets you have a chat while you eat a snack. To top it all, being in stonestown lets you just have a quick stop there while shopping

Bought boba and a few bread/pastries from here. 1 thai tea and 1 tiger sugar. It was pretty good

I've been here several times, and always love the goodies here. I recommend the taro bun and milk bun.

Omg this was the one the highlights of my trip. PLEASE bring this place to Canada 🇨🇦 Every pastry I had was so perfectly made, better than most boutique pastry coffee shops I've ever been to and a quarter of the price. The bubble tea was so flavorful and the boba was fresh made. I wish I could give more stars.

Hey! The District manager was in today and actually told me about how they got an app to save points on! Im a suuuper regular and never knew, so thanks! :D Maybe if the staff remembers the regulars, they can probably mention if we have the app- it'll help with that customer connection a little more if thats something 85 bakery is looking for! ✨️👌 The workers always try their best on getting lines through 24/7, I usually always come in for the bakery items, salted bread or the spicey sausage- usually always pretty good!!

I have been coming to this location since it has first opened. I usually stop by for a drink or for a cake purchase for someone’s birthday. They have a good selection of freshly baked goods, pastries, cakes, drinks, etc. The staff here are very welcoming, friendly and understanding. I highly recommend this place for anyone on a limited time, for a quick bite or just want to try something new. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

This is the best Asian bakery in all of San Francisco.. no one can compete! Their selection of fresh baked goods beats all their competitors by a mile. They have panna cotta, cheese and jalapeño pastries… doesn’t end

Small store comparing to other 85C locations. Limited selection of pastries but same drink menu & price. Great customer service with outdoor sitting area. Sea salt jasmine green is all time favorite in my opinion. Tried smoothie/slush/other sea salt drinks, but jasmine green tea is the best. $4.10 for large size. Such great deal.

Do love a good Asian chain bakery. I think they've really stepped it up and innovated their offerings for the American audience and the Bay area. We've got vegan meat buns with Impossible meat, mochi egg tarts, the works! All nice and warm and fluffy and fresh. I was extremely pleased with the selection. Better than in China, where 85c is no longer hip and popular.

The hokkaido cheese tart is prettt darn tasty. Its crust is very different from the regular egg tart in that it is not layered. The regular egg tart was good too but the bottom was stuck to the foil and after biting into it, I discovered the crust was quite thick on the bottom. The custard balanced everything out though. Would I get both again. Yessir!

Bought a Tiramisu cake for my mother's birthday, and everyone loved it. People kept going back for seconds. I should have bought a second cake because the cake was not big enough to hand out big slices. But overall amazing cake.

** edit after store response Thank you for offering for remaking th tea. However I have already left the mall and is from out of town. If ever visit again, will definitely try it while in store. **** I love bread! Esp pineapple buns... delicious!!!!! Since it's a taiwanese staple aka the pineapple buns as well as bubble tea.. my trip would not have been complete is I didn't have the tea too. Fast service, tea and puddling or great.. however the tapioca is on the soft side.. not Q at all. Forget to call them and let them know... So here I am. I truly hope they try their tapioca for each batch. I have had bubble tea at a breakfast sandwhich place at Palo Alto and the bubble is better ...

Boba drinks prices are relatively cheap comparing to other boba tea shops at Stonestown. Taro Lavender milk tea is my favorite along with this chocolate cream cheese bun, just the right amount of sweetness and softness. Fair price and plenty of variety with the perfect bun size, not too big or too small.

1/15/20: It is ok. I prefer heavy rich European style cakes & pastries. Their offerings are light and airy, not very tasty for my liking. A few of their treats tasted great! I need to try more of their offerings.

Love their walnut wheat roll and their spinach pastry! However as much as I love them with so much plastic being I'd rather support bakeries that use more biodegradable paper wrapping.

We loved our pastries, I had a sausage pastry that had a nice balance with hot sauce and cheese, as well as an awesome mango custard. We were a bit disappointed that that both our oolong and Jasmine teas were extremely sweet, which is just too much on top of the sweet pastries. I would not expect hot tea to be sweet unless requested.

Self serve for most of the pastries here, except for the cold cakes at front counter (by slice or whole) along with drinks like milk teas (or you can order at a kiosk). Nice selection, I got the spicy sausage (just ok), milk tea bun (has the hint of milk tea which is nice), and the 2 egg tarts in a yellow box (so good!!). Saw a lot of people getting the mochi egg tart in the blue/green box, need to get try those next time. Prices are a bit high, but food is good. Check out was fine, not much of a line.

During my most recent visit, the location was clean but messy. Staff were friendly but obviously stressed and losing patience. I witnessed the staff handling the drinks literally running to the back to make some drinks, then run back to the front to help take a few orders, before running back to the back to complete the previous drinks and start new drinks. We went during the morning rush and it looked like there was only 3 staff to cover everything, including baking \ restocking baked goods, taking orders, and making drinks. The self order kiosk for drinks was also out of service that day.

This an Asian bakery. The food was delicious, just not something I'm used to. I could go for it again. I was celebrating a mix of Palm Sunday and Purim when I went. Jews celebrate Purim, which is a celebration of Queen Esther's rescue of the Israelites in Persia. They would go all out in their celebration. My celebration of Palm Sunday was anticipating Good Friday in 6 days, which tinged my celebration with proleptic melancholy. This was lighter and still felt festive. I dined outside. Outside birds are very adventurous there. Some may not like that.

Your typical Asian bakery. They have both sweet pastries to salted breads. We tried both sides and they were good enough. Drinks were hit and miss. I liked none from their sea salt series, but the Vietnamese coffee was on point. The store was medium sized with 2 separate areas, one for pastry selection and one for checkout. They didn’t have an indoor seating, but I noticed outdoor tables were available. The staff were attentive and quick during hectic hours.

Dyanna Volek

It's a standard Asian bakery with all of the pastries - savory and sweet - your heart can ask for, but they take it up a notch with Impossible meat and fancy lattes. The prices are still pretty cheap though, and it's a great spot for a quick, affordable bite if you're hungry. I wish they had this around when I was in high school! I would stop by here and stock up on snacks before heading to the movie theater. One note on the Impossible BBQ Bun - it smells foul but tastes great. The jalapenos are a nice spicy touch. The entrance is right in front so you can't miss it.

Y
Yü Wu

It's a bit far away from the city center but at least we can say there is one 85C in the city. This location is relatively smaller so the indoor space feels compressed but it has a nice outdoor seating area. All my favorite items are available here so I am happy with a trip to this side of the city, although I kind of have to wait for it to open, 9am opening time is definitely too late for a city bakery.

Great tasting bake products. They need to make their points account easier to access. Price runs a bit expensive.

For a quick Asian savory beads and dessert too, this is a great place to do a quick pick up. They have a medium selection, into been to other 85c that's larger. The sweets are lightly sweet, the breads are typical of what we would eat for a quick breakfast. It's a bit price than the smaller mom and pop bakeries.

We got milk bun and white chocolate bread - milk bun was decent and white chocolate bread was just normal white, slightly sweetish bread (only got the white chocolate flavor in the last bite)

Iced taro lavender latte, half sugar - 2/5 way too sweet, tastes artificial and made from powder, could not taste the lavender or the coffee

There is no issue with the bread though for the past weeks I have came in the morning I have seen an older worker smoking while pushing a cart of bread. This is unhygienic and an issue regarding the possible smoke particles going in contact with the food. Second/third-hand smoking. 🫥

It’s pretty nice, the atmosphere is peaceful and the vibe in the bakery is cozy. I come by a few times a month to get some baked goods but I’ve come to notice recently that some of their breads are undercooked. The Hawaiian pizza that I’ve purchased multiple times in the past has had raw dough. The first time I assumed it was just once but I went again and it’s even more undercooked, I only realized it at the last minute and I had to take medicine for my stomach ache. I will not be purchasing from here again.

I recently visited 85C Bakery and, unfortunately, had an unpleasant experience with one of the staff members. They seemed to have an unfriendly attitude, were noticeably impatient, and didn’t offer any help when I needed assistance with my order. I was especially surprised when they didn’t even pack my items for me, which is something I expect from a bakery known for good customer service. I hope the management addresses this to ensure a more welcoming experience for future customers.

The taro bread tastes good but too sweet. My heart felt bad every time I have a taro bread. They must add too much MSG to it

My nephew bought a mango cake for my birthday. As you can see the mango is still green. It tastes sour and hard. I don't understand why they still use these mango. Mango isn't expensive or hard to find a ripe one to put on the cake. It is so disappointed. We never buy a cake from them. By the way, this is not the first time. My suggestion is don't buy any cakes from them for your occasions.

I am a regular customer at your bakery and have always been satisfied with the quality of your products and service. However, recently, I have encountered an unpleasant situation. For the third time now, the same cashier has treated me as if I were coming to her home rather than a bakery. Additionally, she is unaware of the dog treat cup and firmly insists that it does not exist, even though it has been offered before. I hope this issue will be addressed because it is important for all staff members to be polite and well-informed about the products. I would love to continue visiting your bakery with pleasure!

I bought a taro bun this morning when it’s still warm, but after I ate half of the bun, I tasted the taro inside it is sour, seemed like it’s already gone bad. Therefore I went back to the store and told the staff about it, they offered me a refund, which was nice of them. But I did not receive any apologies or any explanation regarding the situation of the bun. I am not sure if this is how 85 degrees bakery trains its employees and treats its customers, but I am really disappointed.

Bought a cake yesterday and found all moldy strawberries on the cake. Went to the store today for a refund. They did not compensate at all and don’t seem to care after reviewing these photos including its branch manager. Must have been using lots of expired stuff. Other reviews posted in the past also point out moldy products. Please don’t go there if you care about your health!

I found out that the bread I bought around 7 PM had mold in it the next morning at 10 AM. It’s definitely not freshly baked. I’m really disappointed in their quality and measures for food safety. They should throw out old bread and mark the date and time for all baked items in store. I’m concerned as I just realized that there are so many reviews reporting moldy items from this location!!
