Barebottle Brew Co. San Francisco Reviews
Great brewery- lots of different rotating styles of beer. Everything I tasted was great! Arcade games, a large pet-friendly warehouse, and patio are all on site. Parking is tough, but that’s to be expected in the city. Definitely check this place out!
I absolutely love this place! Barebottle Brewing Company has such a cool, welcoming vibe and an awesome selection of craft beers. Every time I visit, I'm impressed—but their Passion Icon beer blew me away. It’s fruity, refreshing, and totally unique. Whether you're a local or just visiting San Francisco, this spot is a must for beer lovers.
A pretty great brewery all around from the atmosphere to the beer. They have a huge section of beer including a bunch of non alcoholic options which is great for so many people. I ended up getting the double hazy and it was a solid one: Fruity, juicy and a little funky which I like. There is plenty of seating but it fills up fast with how popular it is. Some of the spots are even couches but most are wood tables that extends to their outdoor area as well. There is a bunch of games from shuffleboard to pinball. The outdoor area isn't very big but has food trucks usually which is always a bonus. Parking can usually be found at the top of the hill where we saw tones of open spots. As far as San fransisco goes that's a rarely. Just make sure you are ready for a workout up you take that way though. Overall a great spot to hang out and get a beer
Like a brewery mixed with an arcade. The place is very cool. The service was also attentive and the atmosphere is welcoming and open. I’d be a regular here if I lived in SF. Above average beers.
Bare bottle is a pretty great brewery. They had a great selection of beer, both in style and quality. Some of the best flights we've had. We liked the snifter serving style and really enjoyed the beers. They seem to focus a little more on IPA's but had great stouts and barleywines too. Nice warehouse atmosphere and pretty busy when we visited.
Super popular and welcoming brewery! Wide range of beers, including plenty of hazy and West Coast IPAs, plus a few barrel-aged bottles. Bar staff are ready to help you pick, including with a few samples. Very family-friendly atmosphere. Cool!
Always a fun time at Barebottle. They have great beer selection and we especially like their IPAs. They even have their own wine too. Great location for large group outings with plenty of seats and arcade games. They usually have a food truck outside too.
Love this fun brewery with a tasty, eclectic beer selection and a large open space conducive for parties and hanging out. The beers here are delicious and experimental, and rotate every two weeks. I tried several IPAs and sours and all were really yummy. Also has arcade and board games.
Fantastic brewery serving some really delicious beer. I got the cabanamaniacs (13oz) which was this fruited sour ale and it was amazing, came to less than $9. I'm not a huge beer aficionado but that experience made me want to try out their vast selection of ales, I might go for a whole flight next time. They have a few big screen tvs so I imagine this place gets crowded on game days and they have a nice mini arcade on the side (need to pay though). This is in the Santa Clara Square marketplace so parking can be tricky - best bet is the retail parking by whole foods. Definitely a nice spot to chill and crack a cold one 🍻, highly recommend!
My friend found this place while I was visiting SF, it was amazing. We ordered 3 kinds of beer and three wines, every single one was delicious. I know it’s a beer brewery but I still want to strongly recommend their Malbec wine, it was the best wine I’ve ever had. A tip: the food outside the main door isn’t bad but I feel they overcharge. There is a McDonald’s not far away from the brewery, go get your food from there
Wide open warehouse style brewery. Lots of seating, some arcade games and pinball to play. They have food vendors nightly as well. The beer selection is like 16 beers which is nice. They do crowlers and have some bottled/canned beer. The place is kid and dog friendly as well. My wife and I both got flights here and we enjoyed the beer. My standout was their Coffee Golden Ale, it had a nice coffee flavor that I very much enjoyed.
Was in the city having my car worked on and had a few hours to kill. Came here. They have a HUGE space, beer, wine, coffee and arcade games! Open early, too, as part of their co-working space concept. Really enjoyed the visit. They are dog friendly, too! Oh, and cats. Lots of cats walking around the brewery. Really enjoyed the visit and will be back. Cheers! 🍻
I had the pleasure of a quick visit to this brewery with my coworkers on a Harry Potter-themed game night. We were solving clues and the brewery was part of the spots "in" on the game! The awesome law firm partner who organized the event prepaid for a free round of drinks for the associates visiting the brewery, so I ordered Silky Sky. It was delicious and my teammate and I probably spent a little too long chatting away at the brewery than actually solving the clues! It was my first time at Bernal Heights and was a great way to enjoy the neighborhood.
This bar is a must go! We enjoyed a fun evening with friends while on a road trip! The brewery is so welcoming with a warm atmosphere. The beers are excellent and the people very nice and friendly! We even had the chance to take part of a quiz, that was very fun. 100% recommended! Take a flight it’s even more fun!

Some of my favorite beers in the city - absolutely love the sours! Lots of space, and like that there is outdoor seating as well.

A fantastic place to try beer, wine, coffee and whatever else the team comes up with. The staff is always friendly and kind and the beverages top notch. You'll always feel welcome when you walk in no matter what you're there for.
Fun brewery, and tasty beer. They have an arcade on site and we’re hosting a vinyl record event while I was there. DJ was playing and the energy was great. They also had a food truck outside to round out the experience. Parking was a little rough but worth it!

We stopped by twice on this three day trip to San Francisco. This is a big warehouse style space. Very loud. Good selection of beers of all styles. The food trucks were a plus.
I stopped by Barebottle Brewing and had a blast! Their flight option let me taste some cool hazy and stout beers. The stout was my favorite—it was really tasty! The place is huge and has lots of different beers to try. Plus, they've got games to play, which is fun. It can be a bit tough to find parking, but they've got a food truck for snacks.
We climbed up and over Bernal Heights to get here and sample the taps. Good meaty food was available form the pop up's / food trucks outside (Smokin' D's). Inside were 18 different taps going and easy visibility to the brewing works at the back of this warehouse like structure. Pet friendly as someone bought there cat in with them, and there seemed to be a brewery cat roaming around as well. Lots of drink choices. all fresh and full of flavor.
Big barebones space, with games including shuffleboard (great fun). The wine is not inexpensive but it is good. On days off, families come here with little children. The Colombian food stall serves tasty food, mostly fried. Beers come in a large range.

Great space to bring a group of friends together! Bring your own food, order some brews and hang out. They’ve got picnic style benches, games, food trucks and most importantly an endless supply of good craft beer! The only issue we have is with parking. It's located on a busy and steep decline so finding parking is always a challenge. On the bright side; they allow dogs and babies. Tip: Carpool/ride share recommended since parking is a challenge.
