Bistro Central Parc San Francisco Reviews
I had such a great time at Central Parc Bistro! From the second we walked in, the vibe was super welcoming and relaxed. The staff were all really nice — super friendly and made us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every single thing we ordered was spot-on. You can tell they put a lot of care into what they do — everything tasted fresh and came out just right. We were all passing plates around trying bites of everything because it was that good! Service was quick but never rushed, and the team checked in often enough to make sure we had everything we needed without hovering. It was just a really smooth, enjoyable experience from start to finish. Highly recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already. I’ll definitely be back!
Saw a posting on Facebook recommending Bistro Central Parc restaurant.. Wow, what a find. Absolutely delicious. I had the Rib Eye special and my husband had the Salmon earlier bird special. The portions were generous. My steak was cooked to perfection and my husband loved his Salmon. The salads were light and fresh. The service was impeccable, Ensar took great care of us along with the rest of the staff. The chocolate gelato was delicious. We are definitely coming back with family.
A true delight! This cozy bistro has a wonderful ambiance and fantastic food. The selection always offers us something delicious and the staff are really lovely people too. We were completely stuffed by the end, but then we couldn't resist the pistachio and chocolate gelato....it was an epic finale!
Holy moly - the food is amazing!! Every dish was full of flavor and presentation was superb! Best meal we had in our week in San Francisco. Two of us just got share plates and it was plenty.
We really enjoyed our time at Bistro Central Parc. The seating is very good and it’s a quiet place with a European vibe. The food was delicious and the wine was excellent. Service was impeccable. Thank you for a great time!
Update 3: Don’t know why it took me so long to come here for brunch. It was a rare warm day so we dined al fresco. He ordered a chicken sandwich which had melts cheese and grilled onions. I had crab cake Benedict. Both came with a salad garnish which was refreshing. The potatoes had a nice crunch. Great brunch place as it gets a crowd but not insane. It can handle a big group too! Update 2: This just re-opened under new ownership. The 3rd one since we've been coming here. The menu has a wider selection. My husband thinks that it leans more towards Italian. I still see echoes of the French menu. We ordered the rock shrimp and scallops. Glad that we asked for warm bread and butter to soak the sauce. He ordered a salad and I ordered the salmon. What I love the most is the wine selection. The previous owners offered European wines which was good if you like that style. I personally prefer California wines so I'm thrilled. I ordered a flight of the Chardonnay. The creme brulee was so good but I wasn't fast enough to take a picture. We sat outside though they also have seating inside too. So glad that this is open again! This is a hidden gem. It's off the beaten path that locals go to. We've been going for over 10 years. It's French but not pretentious. We sometimes go right when it opens without reservation. It gets packed on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. We usually order steak and fries, mussels with curry and risotto. They always accommodate kids' request for pasta with butter and cheese. We try their escargot from time to time. I'm glad that they offer California wines too and just not just French wines. They offer brunch which I've never tried though.
This place is an absolute hidden gem. Thought about gate keeping their 3 course meal, but didn’t want anyone in SF to miss out. The ambiance has a NYC village neighborhood vibe. Portions are very generous. The service is exceptional. The chicken Marsala was very phenomenal. Truffle ravioli was creamy and flavored to perfection. The black pepper fettuccine was very light and delicious. Salmon with quinoa perfect portion - amazing an absolute chef’s kiss. Last but not least… the gelato is not to be missed no matter how full you are. My crew and I cannot wait to come back 😋
Searched up "saturday brunch" and found this place highly-rated. We found street parking so easy and went for walk in the Panhandle before our scheduled meet-up and eat-up booked via OpenTable. This is on the corner of a quiet residential area with very nice looking apartment buildings. I don't usually gush about brunch but this was really well done. 1) poached eggs for the Benedicts were well-cooked with runny yolks and soft whites; 2) steak with the chimichurri sauce was so delicious (whole 'nother level of steak and eggs); 3) roasted potatoes are excellent (usually they are left abandoned on our plates at a brunch, but we gobbled them all up); 4) ricotta pancakes were right-sized (one con: couldn't taste the matcha over the blueberry flavor) and had a nice texture. Only other con was that I expected the bellini to have a peach puree vs. syrup. The burrata salad was a little too sweet dressed with the ample dollop of fig preserve and I've had better fresh-oozing burrata. The service was very attentive and friendly getting our order in quickly before the 20+ table, serving us water refills and clearing our plates. The ambience is more in line with evening dining as it's darker seating inside with a fun light fixture on the ceiling and mix of leather booth and wood chair seating. Overall it is a 4.5 star (note: I rounded up).
Absolutely amazing! Both the staff and the food are awesome! I had the Chicken Marsala, my fiancé had the Penne with Chicken, and then we shared the Creme Brulee for dessert. I recommend all three! ❤️ The staff took care of our every need without us needing to ask! The SECOND my glass was empty, they were right there refilling it. They are very polite, respectful, and considerate. Top tier experience! 5 stars all the way!! ❤️ Will DEFINITELY come back for more!
I took my hubby and kid for Father’s Day diner and everything was amazing. We ordered Seabass which was perfectly cooked and meant was tender and juicy. I ordered lobster ravioli and fried calamari which were amazing. My husband also tried Escargot which he found authentic from France. My kid had bolognese spaghetti , she let me had few bites and they were also well cooked. Between my husband and I, we had 4 différents types of wines and they were all fabulous. The service was great as well . We will definitely come back to try different dishes.
We had 30 minutes for dinner before getting to a show and the staff was extraordinary in taking care of us. We started with a complimentary soup followed by the burrata and fig salad which was delicious. We then had the escargots and the mussels which were really good. The escargot had a fresh flavor which turned out to be basil. The ambience is cute.

First time for brunch. Waitstaff was wonderful, friendly, and very accommodating. They allowed us to order dishes from the dinner menu. Who does that these days! I ordered braised shortribs. Meat was tender over French fries since they did not have mashed potatoes available during brunch. Three others ordered seafood risotto (portion is small), mussels and prawns were fresh, served over saffron risotto. This dish is an acquired tasted, has some metallic mussel taste to it. The mushroom chicken was the hit. Brussels Sprouts, truffle mushroom bruschetta were delicious, highly recommend. Spaghetti bolognese was good. Desserts were also good. Give this place a try 👍. Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the main dishes.
Just moved to the neighborhood, and this place is a gem! My parents are in town and I booked a table only 15 minutes in advance on OpenTable. Exceptional service, food, and atmosphere. Appetizers perfect to split: Burrata with fig jam and the Calamari (sooo tender!) Mains: Bouillabaisse and Short Ribs (see photos). Tender. Flavorful without being salty. Both also large portions perfect for sharing. Dessert: Flourless chocolate cake is rich, creamy, and beautifully plated. Looking forward to returning!
Warm welcome by the host, the atmosphere was intimate and cozy. I enjoyed Truffle Mushroom Bruschetta, that's my favorite and we ordered two plates of those yummiest! We were here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and we were happy with the service.
This is the perfect definition of an authentic, honest neighborhood restaurant. We had the steak special which came with a really nice Caesar salad, a perfectly cooked, large and really tasty steak and crème brûlée (you can choose the type of salad and dessert). The fries were some of the best I ever had. We felt very well taken care of by friendly service. Will definitely go back more often!
Had an early Valentine's Day dinner. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Would definitely come back to try more of the pasta dishes, as I really liked the Seafood linguine that I had ordered.
Good food at different price points. Cooked to order. Adult beverages served. Evening happy hours. Great service without anyone hovering too closely. A couple of television screens with sound turned very low. Quiet background music that didn't compete with talking to neighbor or across the table. I expect to return often.
Excellent neighborhood restaurant. We went on a weekday day evening. We made the reservation for the early evening and were seated within 5 minutes. Food is delicious. The special that night was stake, but we opted for the regular menu. Personally, I like these bass very much. The deserts are also good.
Amazing dining experience at a golden hour in fall season. Their $45 promo 🥩 ribeye steak with gelato is a must try!
As you walk in, the restaurant has an old building smell. I got used to it in about 10 minutes. The food was mostly ok. The crab cakes were a little bland. However, the shrimp and asparagus in the dish were excellent. Bouillabaisse had a good flavor, but it was not hearty enough. Eating a bouillabaisse should be a battle, not for the lazy. You should be sweating from the piping hot broth and fighting with all the shellfish. This one was not it. Seabass dish was excellent. The French onion soup again had a good flavor. However, the cheese on top was not charred and did not cover the whole bowl. The crouton was also bland. Then, for dessert, my date really liked bread pudding. I did not, but it is probably not my dish. Creme brulee was very good.
I had the crab cake egg Benedict w truffle fries, a Cesar salad and the bread pudding. The truffle fries and bread pudding were stand outs, the crab cakes seemed a bit bland to me. The service was excellent. I'd go back, the vibe was great, but wouldn't order the crab cakes agbut I wouldn't
Good food, great service, nice place. I like it! Interesting cuisine most French mixed with Italian. Three of us did the early bird 3 course meal, we all loved our choices
We went on a Tuesday night at around 8 PM. It was not busy at all with 4 or 5 tables occupied. It felt romantic and the closest occupied table to us confirmed it's a good choice for a first date. We got the beef medallion with risotto to start. It was creamy, but the flavor mostly came from the beef. The risotto needed to be seasoned a little more. We then ordered one of their specials that night, fettuccine with spare ribs, and their teriyaki skirt steak on mashed potatoes and green beans, topped with onion rings. No complaints on the fettuccine other than it was a small serving. The serving on steak and mash, on the other hand, was pretty generous. My boyfriend liked the marinade on it and how it went with the teriyaki sauce on the side, but I didn't. Wouldn't order it again. Still, overall not a bad experience. Would definitely try their regular steak if we drop by again. They also have a decent wine list that I did not take advantage of, but will next time.

We had dinner reservations last Friday. You could totally tell that we were racially profiled, because everybody had their dinner plates served on a timely manor versus us and we had came in way before other people had came in. We waited for over an hour. The manager did not even apologized the waiter just smirked. It’s really sad. My son had made the night very special before we had attended to a concert at the Chase Center. We had left and paid for our drinks and appetizers which honestly were not all that. If we would of read the reviews priors would of saved us from the horrible service and experience. But I must say if ever want to have a fabulous dinner awesome staff with wonderful employees who value you go to Miller & Lux Restaurant you will not be disappointed. It’s really sad people should not be so discriminating. But I won’t be surprised if they receive more and more bad reviews. For I feel sorry for the ones that had to experience what they all went through for you except a great experience and service with there luv ones. Also to have consideration for all your customers that have to find parking to eat at your establishment. Only to walk in to horrible service.
