If I lived in SF I'd be hanging out here regularly. Their collection of spirits is incredible and their craft cocktails are excellent. As a bonus they have Kilkenny Irish Ale on tap, which is one of my favorites and is a rare find in any pub. The garlic lemon pepper chicken wings were excellent. The curry sauce on the curry fries was a little bland. Dimitry was our bartender and was a great source of suggestions for us as tourists in the city as well as a great bartender.

Stumbled into this pub after a show in the theatre district and experienced a rush akin to what the first prospector must have felt finding golden nuggets in the Sacramento Valley - EUREKA! We have struck gold!! Bottle Club Pub really IS gold — killer cocktails, mouthwatering food, suave atmosphere, and reasonable prices. It’s almost too good to be true. The rotating liquor shelf is the star feature of this lounge, and it’s incredibly mesmerizing to watch it spin around as the red lighting dances on the bottles. It was fun to watch each new group notice it the first time it moved for them — it seems a pretty ubiquitous experience that everyone enjoys watching it. The decor is kitschy Americana but in a classic, timeless way — very Norman Rockwell-esque. It gives off a masculine atmosphere with a warm, sensual vibe. The cocktails were excellent and sit around $15 (affordable by SF standards, for sure). The TL crush was bright and fruity, while the Plum Daisy was surprisingly robust. Plenty of options for cocktails as well as draft beer and a small selection of wine. The real standout however was the food — the fish and chips were PHENOMENAL. They were incredibly crispy and dusted with a type of chicken salt that added a unique layer of umami. The fries were lightly battered (which I loved) and the tartar sauce had fresh dill in it. The Nashville Chicken sandwich was about as authentic as you can find in the Bay — it was dripping in that classic Nashville sauce and had just the right amount of spice. The service was excellent and friendly. They initially mistook my fish and chips order for a burger, but when they brought out the wrong dish they quickly made it right and we didn’t have to wait long at all for the right order. Can’t wait to come back and try more things on their menu. We’ll be showing this hidden gem to all our friends for as long as they keep that cool rotating liquor shelf maintained!

What a find! Atmospheric bar with such a vast and impressive range of spirits on offer. I particularly enjoyed the cocktails.

The atmosphere was great, but the real standout was the bartender Dmitry. Friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about their craft — every drink was perfectly balanced and served with genuine care. He made the whole experience more enjoyable with great conversation and thoughtful recommendations. Easily the best service experiences I’ve had in SF.

Cocktails are fantastic. Sarah was our bartender and rocked five different, tasty tipples on the menu and off. Ambiance is great - feels like a local but also kinda fancy. We had fish and chips from the menu which were also good. Did I mention the spectacular rotating spirit wall? Highly recommend.

My friends and I visited Bottle Club Pub this past Sunday 2/19, and enjoyed this spot for cocktails and food. Every cocktail had a cool name on the menu, and was well-curated, nicely presented, and very tasty. I ordered the Personality Crisis and One Track Mind, both drinks I would order again! My friends ordered a burger and fries, and although I didn’t try the burger, the fries I shared off their plate were so good! Everyone at the table devoured those fries 🤤! Also, my friends said their burger was very delicious (it looked really good, too). Lastly, the atmosphere was great with a vibey and spacious interior! For a Sunday night, it was surprisingly very lively. Although it’s not a country bar (by any means), at one point of the night, the song “Take Me Home, Country Roads” came on and all the bartenders started wearing cowboys hats. My table and other tables started singing the song in the bar. It was a pleasant surprise because they weren’t playing anything close to country music prior. It was a nice change as it gave me a feeling of nostalgia from my college days back in Texas. I’m glad I finally got to visit this spot since it’s been on my “Want to Go” list for a some time. I’m looking forward to more Bottle Club Pub visits in the future!

A true gem of the tenderloin area. Beautiful bar and amazing service and phenomenal drinks. Their espresso martini is creamy and smooth and something I look forward to every weekend. The videos and the crowd are chill with a nice age range and variety of people. Will always be back

Cocktails here were amazing! But service lacked for a Thursday, we waited quite some time to close out. Other than that would definitely would be back to try a bite to eat, we sat at the bar and watched all the food come out looking delicious 🤤

Beautiful space with rotating liquor shelf. Staff are absolute sweethearts with great taste in music. Cocktails are wild but they can make you the classics as well. Food was delicious and very pub like even though it doesn’t feel like a pub. Big fan of the Love Gun cocktail and their mudslide cocktail. You could spend hours here and try so many new things.

We spontaneously stopped by this pub looking for a late afternoon bite and a drink. The pub has a nice, basic interior, with extremely high ceiling, and high and low table seating. There are additional seats one level up, overlooking the bar. The bar is dominated by a fascinating wall of bottles behind the bar counter. The two-row bottle shelves can be rotated up and down so the bar tender can access the bottles in the back row. The bar features more than 650 different bottles of alcohol - we didn‘t miss anything :-). The staff was friendly but stressed as the bar was understaffed, like most restaurants and bars in SF during 2022/2023. The menu is a typical pub menu, with everything from salads to burgers, to steaks and fish and chips. The beer selection is very good, with at least ten different, mostly local, craft beers. We enjoyed the visit very much, and next time we want to just go out for drinks we may very well land at the Bottle Club Pub. Ambience: 4/5 Staff: 4/5 Food: 3/5 Beverage selection: 5/5 Price/quality: 3/5 (average price, average quality)

Everything you'd expect from a big city whiskey bar. Cool ambiance/vibes, a very extensive liquor list, and the automated rotating bottle racks are neat! The mixed drinks were liquor forward with just the right mixers to play up subtle nuances in fun ways. Service from our mixologist left a bit to be desired but the other 2 were good.

Good ambiance, great drinks, service has much to be desired. Pretty much when we came in, we were ignored as the bartender was focused talking to somebody at the end of the bar. We struggled to get his attention multiple times and when we did, he forgot our drink (this was midnight on a Thursday night, couldn’t be more than 10 people in there).

No one is here but the bartender is stress to death. Asked for a recommendation "same as you ordered" was the reply. Got a lime juice with some margarita in it, far from the best, close to the worst margarita I've had.

I've been here twice: once at 8pm and they were closed (doors locked) with no sign on the door. Second time was tonight, where they had one lousy bartender who claimed they weren't serving food, only drinks. I heard they had a good smashburger, but I'll now go out of my way to suggest friends to stay away from here.

Bar tender seems to be pissed off when I ordered beer first and then food after like 5 minutes. He says I should have ordered both things together not to bother him again and again. Worst attitude!!! This sis especially when there is like only 2 people here on Sunday night - no wonder why!!! This is not a good experience.

Beautiful bar. However, I’ve never experienced such a rude and unwelcoming bartender. There’s other reviews saying the same thing.

I ordered a kolsch from the male bartender with long hair because the bar was slammed. He said the keg was kicked, so I asked for "anything light." He gave me an IPA and I asked which it was, he said "beer" very annoyed. I paid cash and he was very annoyed to dig change from the tip jar. Very rude and dismissive. I brought 7 people to this bar because I had a good experience in the past, we will not be back. I still tipped and wish I hadn't.
