B&W Kitchen San Francisco Reviews
First time here and we loved it. We got the pizza birria and Camerones a la Diabla. The pizza could of been cooked a little longer, but it was still delicious and it comes with consome. The shrimp were something new for me, I never had shrimp like these, and let me tell you...they did not disappoint! They were actually amazing. To drink we had their freshly squeezed orange juice and agua de horchata. Their horchata was the best I've had in a long time, it's housemade where you can taste the thicknest of the blended rice 🤤 I'm very picky about my agua de horchata and this was the one 🔥. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the city.
Fun, casual, local taqueria in the Excelsior. Order at counter and food is delivered. Complementary chips and 3 salsas. Try the Birria Pizza! The stars are based on taqueria style food, service and atmosphere.
Best fish taco I've ever had! It comes with a whole slice of grilled tilapia with the most amazing sauce, totally blown away. Went back recently and the fish was chopped into little pieces, still tasted wonderful and a bit spicier than i remembered, yummy! (This time i remembered to take photos before eat;)

Great taqueria. The birria pizza was amazing!
LOVE this place! Been going here for a few years. Open late! They also have a GOOD meat selection including my favorite "LENGUA"!
The food is great. The guy that took my order is chill. Always try to go in for the Super burrito with the two meats of your choice. Comes with nachos and 2 sauces.
I came here for taco Tuesday and I can say that I’m definitely coming back! The food here was amazing the cooks really killed it. And the customer service was excellent the cashier was amazing very kind and helpful when I asked questions about the food she was more than helpful. It’s great to know that the food here is good and the customer service is great. Will definitely be coming back even if it’s not Tuesday Thank you for the service and excellent food!

Been here once for dine in and I usually order delivery from this place. I remember when I ate here it was a laid back spot and was not too crowded. And when I usually order for the delivery this place is quick but food is just okay for what you pay for. This spot is good when you are hungry and tight on time.
Got three different types of tacos. Chorizo was probably the best with asada coming in second. Unfortunately the al pastor meat was bland in flavor. The salsas on the other hand were delicious and very flavorful. It was okay, but there are cheaper and better options around.
Tripas is a interesting thing to eat. I like it on a taco but not on a burrito. Once in a while I'll just have a weird craving for it. La Iguana Azul cooks tripas well. Not too hard and not too mushy. Their burritos and quesadillas are great tacqueria fare as well. Reasonably priced and good and fast service. It's located on a busy area so difficult parking.
Great late night burrito spot. They give you plenty of meat and their habanero sauce is tasty if you can handle it. They give you fresh chips and have a salsa bar. Only downside is they get their share of crazy customers.

I order here a lot. Their tacos are very good. But, everytime I come here their green lime for the taco is very dry. I can barely squeeze any juice out of the lime. I thought it was just me but after giving them a 3rd try hoping their lime gets better everytime I come, I decided to go somewhere else where the tacos are good yet the lime is juicy.

A pungent cleaning chemicals smell greeted me when I walked in. They are doing construction at 5pm on a Saturday. The music was blasting from the sound bar behind the cashier. I ordered a steak quesadilla and got a regular chicken burrito $12 because the cashier couldn't hear what I said. I was confused when the chef said your burrito is ready. I checked my receipt. Sure enough, that's what the cashier put me down for. It already took 15 minutes for them to make it. One of the construction guys told me they will re-make it if I asked. No thanks, I'm not waiting another 15 minutes in that stinky dining room. The food tasted fine. At least they give free chips and salsa. Weird their menu doesn't list prices.

Disappointed because I like this place, but man, they may have new people working here who doesn't know basic customer service. One, the cashier ask what I wanted to order while counter her cash drawer. When I said what I wanted she just continued to count the money. Either take my order or count your cash. I don't mind waiting for you to finish your task first. I just felt ignored. Then, on a non busy time of the hour (this was around 5PM on a Saturday 1/2/24), the cook just flat out didn't cook my order! About 15 minutes have passed and he never once touched his plancha to start cooking, he just kept doing prep work, going to the back opening can of tomatoes. Again, I don't mind waiting, but there's a line between waiting because it's busy, and waiting because they never even once started cooking your food. I asked for my order to be cancelled at that point. I don't mind waiting for my food if the place is slammed and busy, but when I'm the only one who's order hasn't been done, and there's no other customers behind me, and your cook won't start cooking, there's a problem. Food is good, but make sure they cook your food when you come here.

I wrote my review on DoorDash and added the photo of it here. This is the worst food I've had in SF thus far. Avoid.
This restaurant served us a literal ROCK in a beef supertaco. I am lucky I didn’t crack a tooth!! Food is meh too.

I only go here because it's open late and I live nearby. ON MANY OCCASIONS my food has had hard chunks left in meat, excessive fat, and california burrito fries are consistently cold. service is fast because they do the bare minimum
This is an update from the review I made on my other account recently, regarding the matter of the cook not cooking my order and had to cancel because even after 15 minutes of placing the order, they never worked on it. I assume it was the owner who responded to that review of mine. I appreciate the apology, but I don't appreciate the gaslighting. There were several doordash orders ahead of mine? If that's true, then your cook wasn't cooking those orders either. I urge you to please check your cameras! I was there from around 5PM to 525PM today (this is 11/2/24, I was wearing a Sharks hockey jersey). I placed my order within the 5-510PM window, and sat for a good 15 minutes before I cancelled my order. I WAS WATCHING THE KITCHEN THE ENTIRE TIME during this, to make sure I don't get shrimp on my food, because your cashier charged me for an extra camaron, because I asked for extra chicharron meat on my burrito order and she couldn't find the chicharron charge on your POS, and was told it's "the same price" so that's what she would charge me instead (which is fine by me). Like I mentioned, I was watching the kitchen all the time, and during that time, your cook (black shirt, red apron) never started cooking anything. He went to the back at least two times. One time I saw him open a can of tomatoes in the back and he proceeded to use it for whatever it is he's preparing in the front. Not ONCE did he start a DoorDash order, nor mine, during my wait there. The closest thing he did was mixing the tomatoes into a big container. No order, neither DoorDash or others, was cooked in the flat grill until I asked for my order to be cancelled, which suspiciously got started right away after I have been vocal to the cashier about my disappointment. Neither of your cashiers even bothered to check the status of the order, too, nor where they taking DoorDash orders on their pads (one of them was counting money, the other, who just came in during this point, was busy helping a couple, and changing the TV volume). So to say that there were DoorDash orders ahead of mine is just a complete lie. Again, I ask you to please check your cameras to confirm my story. Once more, it's one thing if the place is actually busy. I work food service and I understand this. But it's another when the employees just flat out don't work on the orders. And you're saying they were busy when I literally watched the entire time? This type of gaslighting is unacceptable. I would have just accepted an apology but you're making me seem like an impatient customer when I have supported you guys all these years. Either your employees are lying to you, or you're a terrible owner who stands for your employees' incompetence. Shame on you. I have been a regular customer for years. There were several times my orders got messed up but not once did I complain, and I kept coming back because the food was good and the service was alright, until now. I never would have thought I would be treated like this. If it's your employees who told you that there were "DoorDash orders" I suggest you check your cameras and catch them on their lie. But if you're the one saying that there were orders being done ahead of mine, you're flat out lying.
I had not been to this place in over 15 years; the way I was treated I guess is why I stopped coming here in the first place. 1When you walk into the place the whole view of making your food is closed off; I brought it to the cashiers attention that it makes me as a patron feal uncomfortable, because why would you hide where you're making my food. I mean what could you possibly be doing that you don't want people to see? And it wasn't like that before. 2. The atmosphere is very poor it looks like they are in the middle of renovations it also smells like mildew. 3. The cashier became very rude and dismissive once I gave her feedback about the restaurant; I was in the middle of an order when she started waiting on someone else. When I asked her how much my order was going to be she told me that "she was waiting on him". I was placing my order before this person entered. I just let her know that I would be giving a bad review. She told me to go right ahead and waved me off.
Ordered DoorDash service. Had really good burrito first time a few months ago. Came back to San Francisco recently. I had a horrible pork burrito and fish taco. Both had meats that were dry and overcooked. Could not finish eating either one. It was a late order. Right before closing. But don’t think they should have sent that low quality of a meat out.
