Had dinner here this evening with family and would highly recommend. The ambience is relaxed and comfortable, the service was spot on - professional and accommodating. We ordered a number of dishes, but I would say the omakase sashimi was fantastic. The lamb chops were also prepared with a simple seasoning of salt, pepper and garlic. I would suggest having cushions on the hard wood chairs and benches and fresh wasabi, but all in this is truly a fantastic local neighborhood establishment.

We always have an outstanding meal when we go here. The service is very friendly and the food comes out very quickly. We have had many different dishes here and everything has been fantastic. We can recommend this place enough.

Had a wonderful meal at this place. I love their take on Japanese food! They have a fantastic combination of fun small bytes and classic sushi rolls. We lived everything we tried, and are super happy that this restaurant is in the neighborhood!

Local joint... But the pork ramen is a must. It just has this heartier flavor, that I feel is even better than some ramen-only parlors. The menu has a myriad of options, some being traditional Japanese while others dishes draw influence from other types of cultures. I try to go every week, but I can go overboard on the sake ha!

Excellent food! Sake and beer selection quite extensive and the sevice very comfortable. My personal routine here is: Miso soup, 5 pcs. Omakase sashimi, Suntory draft, green tea cheesecake. Dinner perfection. For what it’s worth, Suntory Pilsner is by far my favorite beer of all times. Except for maybe Prague’s Branícka Desítka.

Great new and casual sushi spot in Noe valley. Everything was tasty and fresh for a reasonable price. Only the huge menu is a little bit overwhelming. Personal favorite: 49er roll

A real gem! I’ve ordered take out here multiple times and dined in, both experiences are 5 stars. Service staff is incredibly kind, quick and attentive. They really create a wonderful atmosphere for guests. Food is also amazing - a large menu with plenty of options and all of them delicious.

I absolutely adore the ambiance and the gentle lighting here! My friend and I were both smitten with the Okra Yamaimo dish to the extent that we ordered a second one! Since she's a vegetarian, we skipped the fish, but they do offer a variety of fish from Japan. (I'm really looking forward to returning to try their omakase! It seemed like everyone was ordering it, and it looked absolutely delicious.) The service was friendly and attentive! I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to sample their Japanese fish offerings!

Ordered delivery and if was an ok experience. The beef carpaccio tasted off and I called the restaurant and apparently this is how it should be and lefr if that. I have had a lot of beef carpaccio in my life and this was really not ok, so bad ai threw it out a shame the restaurant seemed to care less. The chicken katsu was ok; mostly rice with a little chicken. The sushi was decent, however the carpaccio really ruined our whole experience.

Seated for nearly 20 minutes and nobody helped us. We tried to flag someone down to at least get water and were ignored. Not even busy.
