Glen Park Station San Francisco Reviews
Nice quaint Bart stop. Nice friendly neighborhood and a library close by. There's a flower shop right outside as well.
One of the better BART stations in the system. Mostly underground, escalators are usually in operation. One of the few with a bathroom.
It's clean and just another Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) Station. Except, this station has public restrooms in the station.
Time out magazine says it's one of the 10 coolest neighborhoods in the world.
So glad this space is available to everyone! It’s a historic gem.
Five stars because, without it, there wouldn't be a bar in Glen Park. Also, like the original BART decor, it's carpeted. Yes, this is a carpeted bar. I've heard that Ed Lee drowns his political sorrows here. Unfortunately, I've never seen him in the maudlin crowd. One day, I hope, one day.
I took an architectur course in college and found out about brutalism. This station is a great example of it. I never before thought I’d like our local Bart station until after that course. It’s lots of concrete formed around a space for utilization. It’s perfection especially when riding the escalator down. Stunning
Near interesting spots and a main Street.
muy .buena
Nice place
W miarę czysto i bez problemów. W dodatku kilka linii, żeby dojechać do centrum. ;)
Muy buena aplicacion serve de mucho xq con esto no hay posiblidades de perderse
Me parese bien el orario
Great neighborhood clean
Clean for a BART stop
Just a nice station
I haven't been to that part of the city B4.
Nice, clean and safe BART station
One of the more safe bart stations tho there are lots of fare evaders that frequent this location.
Escalators don't break down like they used to. The city put some improvements into the intersection next to the stop making it safer to cross the streets.
Clean station with restrooms accessible, but not much seating on the platform.
Defenitely cleaner than the average BART station. It's cool that they have bike lockers
Just another Bart station. Small, clean, medium traffic. Nothing spectacular
This is one of the "perks" of Glen Park; it feels very rural and yet you get a reasonably nice BART stop. The station itself could be better and also could be a lot worse. As usual, avoid at night.
It is relatively clean and the being above ground the bathroom is generally open. there is also a quaint flowershop right by the entrance and it is only four blocks from my favorite bakery in the city.
Decreased rating from 5 to 4 stars on 3/22/2021. In 2020, I heard some noises of an >200kV AC electric generator running in some Sundays, everything else is OK. The elevator never stops between the platform and the concourse level since there is a button between it (possibly halfway between the concourse and platform levels).
Ok
Fast
Very convenient & accessible if you don't need to park here.
A little bit hard to get to by foot or bike, with a big freeway, busy roads, and hills on all sides.
4 stars because, hey, carpet!! pretty nice
Safe bart and clean!
Soon to be on the National Register of Historic Places, this grotesque brutalist monstrosity occupies space that could be be use for homes and shops. Perhaps they are listing it as an awful warning to architects to do better next time.
If it's convenient for you you'll use it, and if not not. Inside bike parking, though not enough of it -- usually full by 9AM. Bathrooms are open and passable by public toilet standards. Some jockeying with corporate shuttle buses required, since Google, Yahoo, Genentech and others all run buses through here, and it's a congested intersection prone to aggressive driver stupidity where left turns are involved.
Its a bart station
It's just a stop at the BART station.
Atleast it's a decently maintained stop.
4/26/23 THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. POLICE ACTIVITY ACROSS 3 BART STATIONS CAUSED THE BART TO DELAY OVER AN HR AND THERE STILL IS NO SOLUTION. SAN FRANCISCO BART POLICE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOU .
Always broken stair
bike seat got jacked and the attendant didn't even notice or care.
