Imperial Garden San Francisco Reviews
Every time we go here, we're never disappointed with the service, food, & atmosphere brought in this establishment. The food is always delicious 😋 and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back soon! 🤗
This has been a favorite since the 1980’s. My coworkers and I would do the lunch specials but now I can enjoy dinners !! Go to dishes are Imperial Shrimp, almond chicken, chicken lo mein and Mongolian Beef. We love the Moo Shiu Pork but we always get the Hot Sour Soup to start. Not salty. Lots of flavor. Great value for the price with decent portions. 3-4 people can eat well for around $50.
Great lunch spot during a seminar week in Carlsbad. Lots of choices nearby and Chinese is always a great option. Lunch menu is a great value for about $13 a meal. Food was great. Staff was great and offered speedy service. Wasn't too crowded. Had the beef and broccoli lunch special, steamed rice, egg drop soup, egg roll and crunchy chips. Will try other options on the next visit. Will bring a bunch of friends and business associates. 😎
It's hard to find good Chinese food in San Diego. We were up in San Marcos and saw the 5 star reviews and had to stop in. This is a family business and they treat you well! Our food was delicious and we will be back. The Sweet & Sour pork was tangy and cooked perfectly. The Kung Pao Chicken was also very tasty. You have to love that their fried egg rolls are crispy & hot! See you again soon!
I had never heard of this restaurant. But I had an appointment at Kaiser and had time to waste, so me and my y husband dropped in. So glad we did. The gentleman at the counter in front was very nice and walked us right to a table. The lunch menu had a lot of options on it. And for $12, it was a lot of food and so absolutely good. Our server was very friendly and didn't rush us at all. The restaurant was very clean, updated and spacious.
I always come here for American Chinese food. The food is great because they are not oily. They taste excellent. I drive 1 hour here every weekend just to have dinner. Great food. Excellent service. Must try.
Very delicious Chinese food. Panda garden provides Chinese food that not greasy and oily, all dishes are yummy and the meat are fresh. For me, Panda Garden is the best Chinese food in SD.
I previously worked in San Marcos and Panda Garden was a frequent lunch spot for my team. Known for it's hearty lunch specials and have all different options for everyone. I almost always got the Sweet and Sour Chicken or the Spicy Honey Chicken. This always came with Egg Drop Soup with some wontons as a starter. Then rice and an egg roll with the main entree. Always satisfied after leaving and really fast service.
I used to go to a restaurant called China Wok in Restaurant Row to get Chinese food, but unfortunately they closed down due to the pandemic. I'm pleased to find that Panda Garden has been able to fill that need for asian food in this area. They're quick and allow you to call ahead. They'll make catering trays for large parties and provide you with utensils if needed. There's usually not a wait and they currently don't have indoor dining.
Delicious and very tasty. Dishes are not too oily as Chinese food can be quite greasy. Prices are fair and portions are large. Services is very good too
First time here and certainly not the last. Good food and service, along with a clean and peaceful interior. The fried rice was tasty; sweet and sour chicken was a bit overcooked but still fine; and the egg roll and egg drop soup were delicious as well. The only bad thing was I forgot to take a picture before digging in! Looking forward to going back and trying their other dishes.
Great place. Friendly and attentive service. Very good food, good prices. Our go-to Chinese restaurant.

We have NEVER had a bad meal or experience at Panda Garden! Everyone is always delightfully helpful and the food is DELICIOUS! We will defintely be back!
Our favorite Chinese food! So delicious, great variety, and always a bit with our family. The staff are all very kind and courteous, whether getting takeout or dining in. My kids always choose Panda Garden for their birthday dinner. Highly recommend!
Pleasant ambiance, good selection of dishes, good food, and nice service. It's casual and prices are good. Give the deep fried beef a try - crispy and tasty.
Went to pick up an order of their delicious food and while we were waiting they offered us a glass of water. That was a very nice thing to do.

Amazing food, friendly service. The portions are huge. We had lunch, and dinner the next day from the leftovers. I look forward to my next visit.
It was my first time there & i got my food to go. So I'm not sure what happens inside the restaurant as far as dine in. But the lady was very nice to me. & mt food taste very good.
Great service. Good Chinese take out. Highly recommend their combo fried rice as Chicken Lo Mein. Unfortunately, their Egg rolls were actually “veggie Spring rolls.” The General Tso’s chicken wasn’t spicy like the dish normally is.
What a nice find in the middle of nowhere! Excellent Chinese food, especially with a Korean Chinese menu as well including Cha Jang myun, pal bo chae, Tang Soo yook, and my favorite jop tang bop. Good stuff. The servers literally run around. Fast service, although it's a bit understaffed here. The prices are totally reasonable for what you get. I loved the orange chicken, mixed veggies, and beef broccoli. They charge $2 for tea, not bad... The place is clean and new. Nice.

The food is very delicious and well priced, however while eating it I found a piece of metal in the chicken, which was large enough to be a problem if someone swallowed it. I attached a photo to show the metal shard, compared to a fork.
