Los Kuyas San Francisco Reviews
The people were friendly, the space was clean. We split an order of the Super Nachos with Sisig. The egg was fried to perfect over medium. The Sisig was chopped and salty, and there was enough to go with each bite. The guacamole was generous. And the chips were deliciously fried and salted right before being served. A nice acidic green salsa would have gone really well together. Would order again. Thanks y'all
I've been wanting to try this place out for a while and I finally got the chance to try out their tacos. It's located inside stonestown upstairs in the food court, it sits alone on an island. I was really interested in the 3 tacos for $5 deal. I called in my order of 3 longanisa tacos, 3 chicken adobo tacos, and 3 sisig tacos. It took about 15 minutes from my order. It wasn't too busy, but I saw a good amount of people come later on. Once I got home, we were really impressed with the tacos! My favorite ones were the longanisa tacos, but I thought the chicken and sisig tacos were still good. The chicken tacos were quite spicy. I thought the longanisa tacos were really flavorful and not dry. I'm really glad I was able to try this place and I plan to come again soon!
I walked up to the food truck they have parked on 9th and Geary (it sounds like the truck should be there regularly from 11: 00am to 4: 00pm through 2020.) They have five street tacos on the menu and I tried them all...they were crazy delicious. I also got the lemon pepper burrito, and it had some decent weight to it. The seasoning was spot on and the pricing is a steal. Great guys working the truck, I can't wait to go back and try their rice bowls and nachos!
Very impressed by this food kiosk at Stonestown mall. Fast and friendly service, great quesabirria tacos, and overall a good experience.
Great addition to Stonestown and a surprisingly good fusion of cuisines. The prices are very affordable and everyone is very friendly. Get out there and support this restaurant!
Good place to go for taco Tuesday! Only $1

Good place to go for taco Tuesday! Only $1
In all honesty, the taste is by personal preference. I'm filipino so the flavors are familiar but I understand how some flavors aren't just to people's expectations here. I believe the price fits in and isn't as expensive as the stores around it. They have a $1 a taco deal on tuesdays and my family goes there all the time. We've tried all the menu items and they're all great. The mix of the two cultures is really amazing because a lot of the flavors work well together like the (filipino) tocino tacos and ube horchata. Great service and fun time.
Got a burrito from the food truck near the Golden Gate Bridge and it was great. Fresh flavors and the steak was seasoned well- so good! I was about to head home and begrudgingly grab some fast food for my road trip back, but, I saw this food truck. I turned around to get some lunch here and was very happy I did. Was glad to get some real food for my trip home. Classic Steak burrito with guac 👌

First time Los Kuyas. My taco was juicy and veggies were fresh on corn tortillas. The super burrito was huge but no pictures.
Note: I ate from their Taco Truck at the Mexipino Festival in San Leandro. Loved the sisig tacos and wish I got two or three of those. Unlike traditional sisig, theirs is made from Pork Belly. For me it was perfect in a taco for unctuous heaven. I also enjoyed the bisteak, again not traditional but perfect in a Taco. I don’t like sweet so pass on the longanisa or tocino tacos. Regardless will seek them out at the next featival or when I am in Stonestown.
$1 Taco Tuesdays! First time trying Los Kuyas and we happened to do it on a Tuesday. We tried the Longanisa, Tocino, Bistek, Sisig, and Chicken. We enjoyed the first 3 more than the rest. Can't complain about the serving size at $1 each, but we're wondering if they give you the same amount on other days when you have to pay $7 for 3 tacos.
I've only done the food truck so far. The rice bowl is pretty good (I usually get Sissag) and reasonably priced. If you see the truck nearby, give them a try.
Pretty good street style tacos loaded with sisig for $5. Not sure why previous reviewers were complaining about the taco size when it literally says street tacos on the menu.

The food is great. Only downside is sometimes they run out of certain items on their menu. Other than that i dont understand the poor reviews. They make good food and try their best to get you all the toppings you want. I know alot of people dont like fusion places but this is one of the few places I have seen do it pretty decently.

Heard about the place being recommended on Reddit. whoever that was had bad taste, what a disappointment. I did a double take when receiving the tacos. The smallest tacos I have ever seen. a miniscule amount of ingredients. I ate each taco in 2-3 bites. I don't see how this place could remotely be recommended. Meat tasted soggy and was mediocre. But it was $1 a taco on Tuesday so....the sign should distinguish if that arrow means above or keep going straight. I never been to the food court, but it's on the upper level
The burrito was TINY. Probably the smallest burrito i’ve ever had, and i’ve had tons. I don’t usually write reviews but it was aggravating how stingy they were with how much they give you. Not worth the money. Spend it elsewhere!

Overrated Cafeteria food! I should have followed my instinct & never trust “fusion style” places. It’s never satisfying. Rice was chewy & semi hard. Eggs were old. Salsa they put on top(why?!) smelled sour/rancid… & the worst part was they don’t have ice & served room temperature cans of soda. Don’t waste your money. Go somewhere else!
Taco is overly salty and unexciting, and the service was unsatisfactory. There needs to be more focus on the quality of service provided. Additionally, it is difficult to see the value offered.
“Los Kuyas: A Fusion Fiasco” Entering the realm of fusion cuisine is a daring endeavor, one that Los Kuyas decided to undertake with their Filipino-Mexican amalgamation. However, their audacious attempt to blend these two vibrant culinary worlds fell decidedly flat. The Longanisa tacos. The classic Filipino sausage, with its characteristic sweet and savory punch, seemed disappointing. The Longanisa, typically a star ingredient, was instead a sad caricature of its robust potential. Instead of a flavorful delight, the sausage was dry, bland, and lacked any discernible seasoning - a shocking disregard for an iconic Filipino staple. The service at Los Kuyas was, unfortunately, in tune with the quality of their food. In conclusion, if you’re in search of a true fusion delight, I would recommend steering clear of Los Kuyas. Their attempt at blending Filipino and Mexican cuisine is an experiment that, sadly, didn’t pay off. Seek out your adventurous culinary experiences elsewhere, for here you’ll only find disappointment.
Dollar tacos are terrible, I’ve had better taquitos at 7-11 lol.
