Mission Bar San Francisco Reviews
Nice bartender "Gary". He was awesome, funny, and everyone loves him! And the drinks babbbyyy.. 😳🥂😁
This is my favorite bar .... Lots of colorful and fun loving people
The place had a great vibe and has great prices on the drinks.
Classic bar in the Mission..comfy, great owner...Halloween decor not to be missed!!!
Great bar with reasonable prices. Great to support the local community.
Cheapest drinks in town, super friendly bartenders and locals.
Very nice service. Lots of different beers. Pool table👌
Great place for a chat with friends.. It was quiet and chill.
$8 double shot of patron...you can't go wrong when you go here
They have outdoors seating. Please support this local bar and it's people.
Super chill spot! You can bring food in, drinks are inexpensive and good! Staff is awesome!
Great local dive bar. Inexpensive, and good seating inside. Pool table in the back!
Best bar ever
Wow, cheap beer cool music and gr8 friends. It's all you need. Sports screens, pool, Stella. What else do you want?!
Staff was AMAZING. Super friendly and alert. Helping a girl stay safe and get home safe.
Cheap happy hour, quiet, good people easy to go back. it is a bit dark but intimate.
Stopped by last night with a good crew. It was Mission BAR's 25th anniversary!
One a of the best Mission bars. Always a great stop.

Todd is the best. I’ll keep going back if he’s there. He told me about the recent facelift, it looks and feels great in there. Great drinks
Good chill bar with local vibes. Very cool bartenders. Definitely coming back + they have real good food next door.
An unpretentious spot to sip a few pints, shoot some pool, watch Dubs, or just chill. An "old bar" feel, not the same as places in The Loin I visited as a youngster but kinda close.
Solid Dive Bar. If you want a dive bar, this is certainly one of them. It hits the criteria, cheap drinks, jukebox, pool table, the right mood. If you want a "nice" or "hip" bar, you will be disapointed and probably uncomfortable. If you want something that's a proper dive bar, this is for you.
It’s a funky dive bar in the heart of the mission. The bartenders are totally cool. The jukebox plays all day and all night. Bartender Jeff bakes his own homemade sourdough and brings it in on Sunday afternoons. They’ve got a pool table in the back. Lots of drink specials and fundraiser specials. Lots of friendly and talkative locals.
This dive-y little bar was a wonderful surprise. While it seems plain and simple when you first walk in, the bartender is nice and serves quickly, the drinks are generously poured, and the patrons are all pretty nice folks! We stayed here for a few hours and enjoyed ourselves.
This bar is the hidden gem of San Francisco Great service, great food, great service and great music. We danced all night. There wasn’t a big crowd which was great for us because we were a large group. We initially visited the bars across the street from the mission bar and all I can say is I’m glad we chose to go to MB instead. We had an amazing time. I believe MB should be experienced by everyone. Loved it!!!
Super dark and unassuming dive bar with a fantastic jukebox that leans toward soul, funk, hip-hop and rock. I love the simple red "BAR" sign out front. Not for the collar popping weekend Mission crowd, weeknights are super low key and perfect for cocktails with a few friends. And they got a pool table too!
Great neighborhood dive with friendly regulars and staff.
One of my favorite dive bars in San Francisco. Variety of options on draft. None taste fresh, but all are cheap. $3 Tecate and PBR. Fast service. Booth seating which can accommodate large groups. This place has never been dead when I've gone, but I've never had problems finding a seat. Pool tables. Cash only.

It's fun but if you're trying to play pool or play games it's lacking. However the alcohol is cheap
4 star dive bar. Good memories and bar staff... but don't expect a fancy night out.
Cool bar, affordable drinks and interesting clientele. Pool table is always fun.
No frills dive bar with a friendly staff and cheap drinks. Helped me pass a few hours on a weekday afternoon before meeting a friend in the neighborhood.
Always loved coming here in my 20s for cheap drinks and non pretentious people. Glad to see it's not changed over the last decade.
Reasonably priced drink and outdoor seating. Not much more one can ask for these days!
Good place to drink and chat! Not too crowded when we went there on Sat night around 8 pm.
Pros: good beer, no cover, never packed. Cons: Dive bar. Not much to do but talk to your friends over loud rock music
Excellent dive bar, great beer selection. Rock bottom prices. Staff was nice as well. Would come back for sure and spend more time.

This place was great live jazz. That is all I remember honestly not sure if this is the same place
Perfect, central place to meet friends and get a cheap drink.
This bar is a hit or miss. Sometimes is really busy, sometimes not even the owner is there.
Nice bar with a good selection of inexpensive drinks. It would have been nice if there weren't so many flies making it a bit grimy

Most underwhelming bar in USA... bartender was cool and beers were $4 each but not worth the trek for!
Don't go late they discriminate also their security Guard is horrible he took my phone!
Received very poor customer service from the bartender lady. She was not welcoming and very judgmental, perhaps a attitude adjustment is needed. Will not be returning to this bar.
Worst service at a bar I’ve ever had. At 9:00pm, on a date, the blonde female bartender would not serve us, was rude to us for no reason. Worst bar in the Mission.
The guys that work there late night need some therapy. Good place to go if you want to meet an angry 40 year old punk rock bartender who thinks he’s very intimidating
I use to recommend this place to friends but will not support them anymore, rudest staff experience ever. just wow
It was not good. I saw a woman, the bartender asked her to show ID, her male companion who showed up a minute later was not asked to show ID. I get tired of everyday sexism like this. Yes, it was an inexperienced bartender who did this, but the bar manager/owner should have a talk with the young bartender about proper behavior, if a woman asked to show ID her male companion should be asked to show ID as well Women no different from men in a bar, most of them just want to have a drink or two with friends and that's it. Women should not have to wait for their boyfriend so they won't be hassled. Thanks.
I was racially profiled at this bar. The security guard didn’t allow us in because my friend stated that he had to go to the bathroom before walking in. We were in a group of four and everyone else wanted to enjoy the bar. I am so insulted!! He was rude and ruined the entire night!!
