One of the best boba places in the SF city! A must stop by if you’re in Castro! Their soft serves are to die for♥️ my favorite is the ube. The owner is super friendly and gave us a sample of matcha soft serve.

One of the best matcha lattes I’ve had in the city — and definitely the strongest 😃 (Also really nice and friendly staff) I’ll be thinking about this one till the next time I’m back

Oh my god this matcha was GOOD! Super strong matcha flavor, nice and sweet strawberry flavor, and a subtle creaminess. The staff was super nice, and it came really quick. The inside has a bench for sitting, and outside there are three or so tables. Pretty small interior, no bathroom. Overall it was way too delicious, absolutely recommend.

Got a hojicha latte and it was really flavorful. It had a good amount of oat milk and the toasty flavor wasn’t covered. Service was excellent, will definitely be back when in the area.

Fantastic spot for matcha, ube, and crepes! The staff are incredibly welcoming and polite, and the matcha flavor - both in the latte and ice cream - is rich, smooth, and delightful.

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! The matcha is seriously delicious and the staff is sooooo nice. They have lots of great variations so I always try something new! A few favorites are the ube float and the coconut matcha latte. And of course then matcha-ube soft serve swirl! Thank you Oishii - we love you!

Really good matcha and friendly staff/service. The matcha is less sweet than some other places so keep that in mind when picking the sweetness level. They also have a great menu of ice cream and other tea flavors. One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood!

Honestly, the best matcha in SF! The drink was super smooth, and the quality of the matcha is really good — not bitter at all, with a great balance with the purée. The staff were very friendly. I’ll definitely be back to try more.

Amazing. Both workers on 1/19/2026 were so nice. Someone had taken my drink or we had just missed it and he remade it for me including an extra special treat on the side. They also gave us a free sample of their matcha. The matcha soft serve and strawberry matcha latte were both so delicious I am going to come back another time.

The matcha ice cream is a bit on the sweeter side compared to other establishments. Not a fan. It was too sweet. The Matcha Latte on the other hand was great! Now my second favorite in the City!

The matcha soft serve is very yummy! Not too sweet, and you can really taste the matcha flavour, not watered down or too milky. The ube matcha was just in general bad and watery. Staff was really kind and accommedating. No space inside the store to sit, but the two tables outside are good for when it's nice out.

Meh... Can't say we were all that impressed with Oishii Matcha... We visited Oishii Matcha to satisfy our Matcha and Sweet tooth cravings... Small Venue with not a lot of room inside. I'd estimate 90% of the orders are to go due to the lack of room; there is a small bench inside probably for waiting on your order and two small tables outside. #SweetTooth: ~ BOBA SUNDAE UBE - 3.5/5 I thought this was just a bit better than OK. It certainly didn't look like the pictures. This was just Ube soft serve with a some boba and a bit of brown sugar syrup. It looks far better in the the pics. Decent, nowhere near the best Ube Soft Serve I had. They also ran out of Black Sesame and hojicha on that particular day, so were unable to try either of those flavors. Sadly we were a bit disappointed...

The matcha here is strong and the staff were kind—even accommodating us 20 minutes before closing, which we really appreciated. However, some moments during our visit were disappointing. Two of my friends have allergies to soy and almond, which were the only milk options listed at that time. The friend who could only drink the soy, went with that alternative just to try the drinks out of excitement. But shortly after, two customers who came in after us asked for oat milk and were initially told it wasn’t available—until they said they’d come back another day. Then the worker double-checked and ended up offering them oat milk. It felt like oat milk was only offered to avoid losing a sale, not because it wasn’t available earlier. To add to the confusion, one of my friends ordered a strawberry matcha, and only after taking a sip, was she told that they had added mango to it because they didn't have enough strawberry. While we understand it's the end of the day, it would have been much safer and more respectful to inform her beforehand. Allergies are not always visible, and that spur of a substitution could have had serious consequences. In her case, it resulted in a headache due to the drink being overly sweet due to the impromptu resolution—but it could’ve been much worse. We weren’t upset with the service-it was genuinely friendly-but the lack of transparency and attentiveness to dietary concerns was disappointing. At the end of the day, we were still paying customers eager to try the new place, and were very understanding of the situation as we are all baristas ourselves. I had brought a few close friends along to share what I’ve been working on for my club at Berkeley, since I had been scouting all the matcha places in SF with hopes to collaborate with. But I felt bad having to leave my guests with indigestion and feeling slightly dispirited after the mixed experience we had. Despite it all, the matcha is great for those who enjoy strong matcha drinks- they were not frugal at all with the quality of ingredients. The regular matcha and ube matcha had rich flavor profiles, but lacked enough sweetness for me to notice it. The mango and strawberry purees on the other hand, were extremely sweet, which balanced the strong matcha profile well if you like matcha as a dessert!

Ordered a Ube Matcha Latte and was comparable to the quality of drinks at Quickly with a stale aftertaste. A couple of red flags to note about the cafe - the drink prep area is covered so the customer cannot see, there was a bottle of glue/adhesive remover near food appliances, and the food menu pictures are all AI generated images. Would give a second chance if I knew what the ingredients and whisk looked like.

After inputting your order on a wobbly iPad stand, hidden behind an opaque glass divider your drink is made. While I understand the aesthetic, the best part of the experience in this small space was the hand-off where the barista came around from the divider and served the beverage with a smile. I got a matcha latte with oat milk, and selected 25% sweetened. I’m not sure if it was the brand of oat milk, but the latte still tasted sweeter than I expected. It was the better matcha I’ve had in the area and is serviceable.

First off, the menu is entirely AI photos, which should surely be false advertising in some regard. These photos do NOT look like the product. Ube matcha was extremely unflavorful, very little ube and matcha, tasted like milk. (Not complaining about color.) The boba was quite unflavorful, tasted frozen/icy. Not worth the price, not worth the experience, would not recommend.
