Rolling Dumpling San Francisco Reviews
Get the chicken curry. Fast, clean. Very good food.

Can’t believe the ratings are so low. I live in Vegas where the Asian cuisine has a high bar. I had the dumplings day 1 for a quick bite. They were unbelievable. Day 2 I had the beef brisket noodle, Wow. I went back to the counter and told the girl to tell the chef it was incredible.
I am a dim sum snob and I really enjoyed my lunch here. I got the wontons in spicy oil which were really good and the steamed Pork buns, which I thought were super moist and the filling was perfect. Give this place a chance.
Visited SF for wedding dinner, stayed at Marriott across the street. Ate 2 days of lunch here. One day Wonton soup with extra veggies, and Pad Thai. Next day same wonton soup, and fried rice. Wontons are large and delicious. Veggies are fresh and cooked just right. Fried rice wok hei (鑊氣) is great. Overall great experience.

It's a shame to see this place with such low ratings! I had the veggie curry here, and while it wasn't anything innovative.. I thought it was a pretty good vegetable curry! The wonton soup was a bit bland, so I think they could work on the flavor profile there. But it's really not a bad experience, considering it's in a mall cafeteria.

It's too small and mine tastes so average is pain full bruh
40$ — i know it’s downtown food court in SFO, but no. I did post-movie dinner after seeing Avatar. Dumplings were water logged. It’s at best a 20$ meal.
Made the mistake of getting a Tonkotsu Ramen from here without looking at the reviews first. The soup is so liquidy and not anything like Japanese ramen soup so basically it is Chinese soup noodle with ramen noodles. It is ok for Chinese soup but not at $19 price tag meant for Tonkotsu Ramen

Nice employee. Tasty honey lemonade. My curry beef brisket with rice was alright, but at least 50% of the ‘meat’ was fat. Not worth the price. Maybe their dumplings are better.

Worst ramen I’ve had in SF. Canned veggies nothing fresh at all. $18 poorly spent. The chilli oil is straight up cottonseed oil
The service was great, and the food came out quickly. I had the brisket curry and it was not good; the meat was very fatty, sure, but the actual curry was not super great tasting.
what in the asian hodgepodge is this. brother. you cannot put dumplings, egg rolls, indian curry, thai curry, and bbq pork buns on the menu and just call it generically asian. to say that this is an asian restaurant for white people would be an insult to white people. i ordered the veggie dumplings and tofu curry. dumplings? cold. curry? bland. imagine your favorite asian cuisine but no flavor. service was extremely nice and helpful though. i guess that's what you get for mall food.

I got the pork and shrimp spicy wonton...virtually flavorless. The pork and shrimp has no flavor and the "spicy" orange sauce was 0% spicy and also had no flavor. It looks amazing don't get me wrong but past the looks there is nothing 🫣

I have gone here previously and the owner has made changes that made me think the quality is not worth the price for the quantity one receives. Previously the 16oz bowl costs $6 which was considered a half order. Now the same bowl costs $14.99 (add 2 pieces tofu or chicken for $1 additional). The final straw not to go there again was the 16 oz.bowl was 1/2 filled! Another minus was the staff didn't ask if I wanted spicy or not. The dish was not as tasty as it was before, and not worth the $$. Also orders were not cooked in order and that made the wait extremely long (over 20 min).
I had a Wonton noodle soup with shrimp and pork flavour. I paid short of 20 dollars for a couple of wontons swimming in tasteless fluid over some tasteless rice noodles. It was so bad that I had to ask for soy sauce and put two packets of Kikkoman in the remaining 1/3 bowl of soup. Now it at least tasted if something. There is no way I eat there again even if I am starving.
LAST week i went SF Metreon food court, San Francisco first time here at Rolling Thai...Absolutely Awful -DISSAPOINTING in last 40 years the worst I've eaten in San Francisco. Its more a Fake Thai Food that is a masquerade as Thai but really Chinese Restaurant. When your order PadThai tastes like bad Vegtable Chow Mein made with fettuchini rice noodles. This restraunt needs an overhaul, reboot, retrain of staff and better recipes. I ordered Pad Thai 😫 I ask for basic sauce condiments On side, the girl made alot of excuses,I ask was Pad Thai order a vegetarian order since it didnt mention normal ingredients in RECIPE. She assumed i was a vegan but i told her no regular pad Thai had tofu peanuts and dried shrimp she said fresh tofu extra, fresh shrimp extra. I said no. i ask for salt, pepper, fish sauce, after i ordered Pad Thai. She turned around just stared at kitchen, then she showed me a bottle of chili sauce I said no not same as fish sauce, then she kept making strange excuses like no container and cook cant add it, why would i want it, finally she said Pad Thai already pre-made ( which is a lie) can't put any fish sauce, they only had soy sauce and i said you offered me chili sauce? I said no to chil sauce, and ask why would a Thai dish PadThai add Soy Sauce?, i said who puts soy sauce on pad Thai? (The-Soy Sauce was too salty & weirdly strong, thick too even though I tried it later) I ask for black pepper she gave me salt, I ask where is pepper she said its inside container. When I got to theater I looked inside it was red pepper flakes not in a closed container WITH A COVER but Open plastic container to spill everywhere. WHAT WAS IN Pad Thai had 2 tiny slice of lime, a couple pieces of green slivered regular cabbage, chopped green onion, unbroken up- giant lump of scramble friedegg which was too well done brown crusty-egg not mixed up in with noodles, No peanuts, No tofu, No dried shrimp, not made with fish sauce either didn't taste like Pad Thai, About -20 toothpick thin shaved carrots, About-7 single bean sprouts, No dried shrimp or shrimp paste, fresh shrimp or fresh Tofu is extra, Tasted like bad Chinese vegtable Chow Mien, horribly salty, sour & at same time oily & tasteless. NOT WORTH $15.99+. ONLY 3 choices in regular entree other choices were a fried rice, or a fried chicken. Other side dishes offered were pork bun & Chinese dim sum. Terrible menu. No condiments? Or limited to salt, chili sauce, chili flakes, soy sauce only? Terrible food. Strange service inept. Unprepared untrained staff for customer basic questions or request, not authentic No Fish Sauce No Black Pepper Not taught basic responce when ask about black pepper which is not Chili flakes. Item very Greesy and sour taste, not flavorful, not authentic recipe, made me naucious after eating. Extreemly disappointing and they sent me coupon next day? I won't go back. This restaurant needs help to revise menus and recipes retraining staff new menus recipes redone.
It pains me to write this, but this was the worse thai food I've ever had. I ordered pad thai and it didn't have peanuts or lime. Not sure I would call it pad thai, but rather an overpriced bowl of underseasoned noodles with chunks of chicken.
Food took over an hr when the estimated time was 30 mins.
$5 for a soft drink. 13.75 for dry chicken uncooked broccoli on salty white rice. I’m sorry but I was expecting a lot more.
Got the spicy miso soup and it tasted like some cheap microwaved version of itself. The egg was hard boiled (which is disappointing for ramen) , the taste was bland and it cost me 30 bucks for that and a hot tea. Should have read the reviews before trying.

Pineapple chicken fried rice. Chicken is dry and flavorless. Rice is incredibly salty. Fountain drinks are$5 (nearby places area$2.75). Avoid
