Super cool spot! I am so glad that I finally got to check it out. I definitely want to go back to enjoy the upstairs space and get some work done. Their breakfast burrito was a little small but I love how it is crispy/ crunchy (and would order it again). I want to try more of the menu

Their earl grey Cortado was insanely good! Really enjoyed the recs the barista had. No wifi so that was very odd, but tones of working space!

First time here and I fell in love! Love the whole vibe to this place, spacious, modern. Coffee was elite! Got their bake good, Buckwheat muffin (gluten free). Not huge on super healthy food but this muffin was nom! Drip Coffee was rich and flavorful. Great place to chill, study and work. Sunday free parking on streets around the block, perfect weekend visit if anyone wants a coffee rec on weekends! Will be coming back for more!

Cool coffee shop in San Francisco's Union Square neighborhood. We had good food and good coffee. They even had a hot chocolate for my daughter, who really enjoyed the bleating on the second level looking down over the coffee shop. Make a stop in when you visit this area

Really cool spot! I got the matcha which was fine but nothing special. My sister got the chocolate croissant which was SUPER airy and delicious. Tastes like it was from France.

This was not even funny. Never heard of a double baked croissant before. Incredible!!! Always seek their beans in stores, but pastries make it worth coming in person too.

Never seen a coffee shop like this where it’s basically one stop shop of roasting, brewing, packaging, and serving.SF is lucky to have this and I have the best cup of coffee there in my visit. I would definitely come here and pretend to study or do Work just for the vibes. Also, best handwashing station I’ve seen in a long time.

Trendy coffee shop with the atmosphere of your "local dive". Bathed in natural light and with ample space to spread out and work, this industrial loft has nailed multi-purpose. Try all of their flagship roasts to keep it exciting, but I recommend Blueboon as a staple. Also love their croissants. Pictured is the Pistachio Berry croissant. It's perfection.

This is a beautiful cafe. The interior is really cool. We just stopped by for coffee to go before brunch but if we had more time I would've definitely wanted to sit with the coffee. Cool counter seating 1st floor and additional seating upstairs. We loved our coffee drinks. Just the right kick for the morning. I had an oat milk Chai and my friend got the vanilla latte.

I had a great pour over made from their single-origin beans from Ethiopia. The employees are very friendly and it's a fun space to linger, since you can watch the coffee being made.

Super cool space! The vanilla bean paste latte was such a special twist on a classic flavor. Definitely plenty of place for a large group.

10/10 recommend their butter miso latte. It's too good. Overall it's a large space which is almost always crowded. But the staff is friendly and the wait times are not too long.

Visited them twice and loved their roasted beans (the dine in flat white coffee was ok and it could be better). The rating is marked for their nicely roasted beans, of which we bought Kenya and Blend for home serving. Both had great tasting coffee notes. I also liked their “everything croissant” (stuffed with cream cheese and green onions). They sell cookies and muffins. Thanks for the polite and welcoming team.

This location is very spacious and has a roaster inside. Love the pour over flavor recommended by the barista. The coffee shop was infused with the aroma of freshly roasted beans.

Had the vanilla paste latte and it was incredible—super smooth and flavorful, not too sweet. Easily one of the best coffee drinks I’ve had in a while! The ambience is cozy and wood-toned, with lots of natural light. It’s a great spot for working, reading, or just relaxing. There were quite a few people with laptops, so it’s definitely a work-friendly coffee shop. They also sell specialty coffee beans, cool merchandise, and some nice brewing gear. Highly recommend if you’re into craft coffee, unique lattes, and chill vibes!

Super spacious and well decorated place. The espresso tonic was nice. They also roast their coffee right inside which is a very interesting thing to watch. I’d be happy to be back

Sightglass in San Francisco is known for its meticulously sourced, small-batch coffee that many regulars rank among the city’s best The airy, industrial-style spaces with plenty of natural light make it a popular spot for working, meetups, and people-watching Enjoyed cappuccino in oat milk, though prices can feel a bit high for the size

Got a good drip coffee and cold kwa-son (croissant) Remember to check if they heated up ur pastry. They might forget, and can’t heat it up for you once it’s across the counter. Or maybe they enjoy a cold croissant I don’t know.

A really nice and spacious cafe in SoMa! The interior design is really pretty with a cool bike rack right in front. They also do their own roasting in house. The coffee flavor is solid and I’ll come back next time to try their specialty flavors like the brown butter miso. No wifi though :(

Sightglass Coffee: A Stylish Blend of Rustic & Industrial in the Heart of SF Sightglass Coffee is one of San Francisco’s most iconic specialty coffee shops, and I recently had the chance to visit it with colleagues and my supervisor. Although I couldn’t fully relax and enjoy the coffee due to the work setting, the space itself left a strong impression. The cafe features a unique blend of rustic farmhouse and industrial aesthetics. As you enter the first floor, you’re greeted by the visible coffee packaging and roasting operation — it’s open to the public and integrated directly into the customer area, making the production process part of the experience. The building uses a central skylight for natural lighting, and the loft-style second-floor seating is housed under a cozy cabin-style wooden roof. The warm wooden textures and exposed structures give off a vibe reminiscent of a Western saloon, with a modern twist. When we visited on a weekday afternoon, the cafe was nearly full — a clear sign of its popularity among both locals and tourists. I ordered a matcha coffee, a relatively uncommon combination of earthy matcha and bold espresso. Unfortunately, since I was with colleagues in a work context, I didn’t get to savor it the way I would’ve liked — that’s my only regret. Next time, I’ll definitely come alone, grab a window seat, and fully enjoy both the coffee and the carefully crafted atmosphere.

The ambience of this place is very different and worth a visit. Its quite spacious and the aroma of freshly ground coffee is absolutely inviting. The coffee itself was good and so was their special "ICED BROWN BUTTER MISO CARAMEL LATTE". They also do have tons of coffee powder that you buy.

I stopped by Side Class Coffee today after hearing a lot about it. The coffee itself is solid and worth trying, but everything else felt pretty average. The food was underwhelming, and the ambience didn’t really stand out. It isn’t bad, just not warm or inviting. They do have a setup for packing coffee on the side, which is nice, but the overall vibe feels just okay. If you’re looking to try a new coffee spot, it’s worth visiting for the coffee, but I wouldn’t go for the food or the ambience.

Overpriced coffee served in tiny cups. The most uncomfortable seats you can possibly find. No wifi. No power outlets. Unwelcoming atmosphere and argumentative staff. Even the Roastery area looks messy. This place looks great on the photo, but if you’ve been to really good cafes - you know what ‘good’ looks like. Sightglass, you can do better. Much love.

It was an okay experience. Coffee and service was great but definitely only come for the food and drinks. Very important to keep in mind that they offer no WiFi or outlets. There’s decorative seating, which I’ve never seen before, for a place that gets a lot of people. Also what is with the decorative trash cans in the middle of everything? Yeah I’m not coming back here unless I’m driving by this specific area and craving a chai latte. The chai latte is the sole producer of my second star. The food and service was good so that’s one star. The no seating, no WiFi, and no outlets are the reason for my deduction of 3 stars.

I was incredibly disappointed. I saw this beautiful coffee shop and ordered a large caramel latte. The cashier never informed me that beverages are one size -10 ozs, incredibly small. Simply informing me of size would have very helpful. Overall the staff was very cold
