St. Mary's Pub San Francisco Reviews
A favorite Bernal haunt. Great cocktails, same good reliable beers, and even a few chip bags (or popcorn for watch parties) if you need. It's got a bit of a dive bar feel to it, but it's a step up from that for sure. Pool and 1 pinball machine. Great way to start or end a night. I always have a friendly interaction with other customers too.
Friendly, fun and everyone's welcome.
The best dive bar, period. There is a pool table, a pinball machine, popcorn machine, jukebox, weekend DJs, TVs, cute booth seating. Really all you could ask for and more with this spot. Known for their fresh bloody mary's on the weekend....so good they are selling the bloody mary mix now! BONUS: Best bartenders and regulars, including all the dogs you could ever want
Good atmosphere. DJ playing country music. Cheap beer. Dive. Friendly people with their dogs. Excellent bloody Mary's on the weekend.

Amazing martinis from saul. Great cocktails. 🍹i love his hair. Such a cool vibe bar.
Here on a Tuesday night. One of the best dive bars I've been to. Highly..... Recommend
Did you say free popcorn? How about a rocking Bloody Mary to help curb that hangover. Pool table in the back and great bartenders with solid conversation. Usually have a solid IPA by fieldworks or another premium brewery. Trivia night is fun.
The post-punk ambiance is welcome in a world where hip-hop and millennial bars run abundant. The bartender Andy is friendly, easy on the eyes, and pours a great drink. If you are looking for a great place to play pool, pinball (Mars Attacks), and have a drink with friends then thus us it. Tell Andy hi and that 'Florida' recommend this place.
They got popcorn and drinks and pool and pinball and nice people.
What can you say about a bar in the local fashion at one of the neatest your sections in the United States. The Saint Mary's Pub has been installed in this corner for a mighty long time. Bartenders are always friendly and super helpful and the patrons are the Saint Mary's Pub is a great antidote Tuesday tired yet glitzy bars in Noe Valley and the Castro. great San Francisco types.
Dropped by to check this place out. Not a lot of foot traffic but surprisingly busy with locals who all seemed to know each other. Decent but small draft menu but a good number of bottles available. Felt like the outsider who walked into an inside joke but that's on me.
I will start off this review with a disclosure. St. Mary's was my local pub. I was what you can call a regular there and have been for the the good part of the last year or so. I have been a patron of this place since the last ownership change and re-model, and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. First off some quick ground rules: -credit cards are now accepted, but there is a $10 minimum (so plan ahead if you are using plastic) -be nice to your bartender. He/she will treat you well if you do the same -don't ask for bloody mary cocktails when it is super busy Fridays & Saturdays (usually sometime in the afternoons depending on if there is a sports event going on) They have drink specials during the week, and their Bloody Marys are very good (weekends only, with several types to choose from). There is one pool table in the back. The bar is not a big place, but it does have some booth-style seating for larger parties. The clientele is usually comprised of locals from around the area and Bernal Heights with a bit of a dive bar atmosphere (at least with the drink prices), but with a rowdy bunch of locals watching some local games on the televisions, it really does feel like a neighborhood bar and it is truly a gem in the College Hill neighborhood. I urge you to come out and have a bloody mary cocktail one weekend afternoon or stop by for an after work drink-you won't regret it!

I went there to play attack from Mars, which was good. I had a couple pints, and they were quite good too. Seems like an above-average neighborhood pub, although this one has been here for like 80 or 90 years.
Friendly, real value in every glass and a pool table! Additionally, they boast quite an impressive Bloody Mary menu and I don't even like Bloody Mary's.
Classic divey, bar kind of small. Has a decent pool table and cheap cocktails. Free popcorn some nights 🍿 they allow chill dogs :)
My favorite bar in Bernal heights area. Popcorn machine and pool and pinball table. One or two beers on tap that aren't bitter.
Good dive bar. It has been here a real long time; so long that the Clampers put a historical plaque out front. Not a fancy place, lots of layers of paint and classic fixtures. Expect noise, dogs, and a slightly sticky floor by the end of the night, good times.
Chill place, very cool. Maybe a little too chill - there was a big ol dog sitting on the upholstered bench (why do people think dogs' feet aren't covered in as much sidewalk fecal matter as humans' are?) but other than that it's a great place and I'd go back. My Bloody Mary was very good. Loved the quiet and chill music.
Fantastic vintage local neighborhood bar dating from the end of prohibition with popcorn, a pool table and vinyl DJs.
