Taco Primo San Francisco Reviews
best breakfast egg chorizo burrito i've had. the habanero sauce was so good! the egg inside was cooked beautifully.
I had the best Mexican food ever here! The chicken bowl I had delivered from here was awesome! I highly recommend people try this place at least once and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I wish I can give this place 10 stars ⭐️! I can see myself ordering from here again sometime soon.

I love their jackfruit tacos! I also won a free meal today because of the special promo they had today! Overall a great place :)
Really good burritos 🌯 nice that they have jackfruit option for vegetarian! Tastes fresh and healthy - we keep coming back here.
I personally had a really nice experience here. My dog was dying a few doors down in the Vet clinic, so I went in there because I hadn't eaten all day. I ordered a Jackfruit burrito with refried beans, but accidentally made it black beans, caught their own mistake without my having to point it out, remade it immediately. The staff was cheerful, professional and friendly, and the chef who made my burrito was incredibly friendly and likable, personally apologizing for the delay to make the order right (before I even saw it was wrong). I found their burritos to be really great, and I have worked in the Mission for decades. They were compassionate about my dog as well, which melted my heart. The price was really actually good, compared to the "burrito District aka the Mission". I hope others share my sentiments. I really this place and the people that work there. That's what makes a Great local shop that one wants to give one's business to.
I am so excited to have a new burrito option on Fillmore! They are well priced and it is obvious that their ingredients are fresh. I've enjoyed their food with drinks from the Snug and also ordered via a delivery app. On my last delivery, we ordered the horchata milkshakes which were accidentally left behind. I emailed the store and the manager hand delivered them within a few minutes. So refreshing to have a local spot with affordable prices and a team that goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. The fact that this establishment has a 3.8 rating right now is a sin. We will be supporting Taco Primo weekly <3
Ordered on uber eats it’s fresh and tasty You can order all these options for tacos or burritos it was the quality of the food and the home made tortillas were good too.
Delicious and quick! Staff super friendly. Tomatillo salsa sooo good.
So happy they opened! Amazing vegetarian jackfruit "primo" burrito and one of my favorites in the city. It is affordable and so tasty! Finally a reasonable quick service place on fillmore that is actually really really good. Thanks for joining the neighborhood!
Always love this store. Great breakfast burritos and really nice staff.
Our server Gwen helped us find the best Burritos that I have had in a very long time! We tried the Jackfruit Vegetarian option - ask them to add Tater Tots instead of Rice and ooh. That made all the difference. We had Guac and Chips which were good as well. Will definitely be going back to get more recommendations and try more food. Thanks for the recs!
The jackfruit burrito was absolutely bursting with flavor, I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed it! I asked for tots instead of rice and I got medium salsa. The chips and guac is also delicious. And the cashier was a delight! 10/10 recommend!
I appreciate the jackfruit vegetarian option as it’s unique and delicious as both tacos or burrito. The salsas are all good, the hot being 🔥 if you enjoy. Recently, the bean and cheese burrito plus a number of modifications has been the go to move. There are a number of favorite Mexican taquerias around SF but TP has climbed the ranks for me this year..
We love Taco Primo and are so grateful this came to Pac Heights! Their food is fresh, I always get their salad — the dressing is amazing and the tortilla strips are plentiful, it's super balanced. Their prices are also amazing and the service is super quick. We've started going to The Snug more often now that you can order Taco Primo to the restaurant. We also get their takeout all the time. No notes!
The tacos and quesadillas are delicious!! Excellent service and quickly made. Everyone here is super super friendly and it’s always a pleasure coming in! Don’t miss out on this spot

This is a great addition to the neighborhood. I work across the street and live a few blocks away. I often order their bowls and salads. Great portions and flavors. Their spicy salsa is delicious and very hot.

Pleasantly surprised. Burritos are pretty decent and the price is good, especially for this neighborhood. Much better than taco bar for the quality/price ratio. Not gonna beat mission burritos of course, but it’s nice to have this spot in pac heights 👍🏼
The food is great, however we ordered 6 tacos. 2 jackfruit 2 beef 1 al pastor and 1 chicken. Walked home only to find 5 tacos all mislabeled. Ordering the tacos was also an awkward experience. For some reason they make you answer 47 questions for each taco before moving on to the next.
Honestly food is pretty mid. Though I’d say this is a step up from Taco Bar on Fillmore which is even more mid. Bummer because I live two blocks away and was excited for a good burrito close by.

We ordered 4 primo tacos and just got home to find out we were charged for Rimo and they gave us regular. We feel cheated and disappointed. Not going back.

For $20, the burrito I ordered should not consist of half a rolled up tortilla on the inside. There was barely any sort of filling on the inside at all. At that price point and serving size, I might as well have gone to buy a protein bar and drink from the corner store.

Got the breakfast burrito but it was surprisingly mid. They basically put egg and tots in a cold tortilla. Also while we were waiting the cashier yelled at multiple customers because their food was taking a while and they had the gall to ask about it
Taco Primo incorrectly labels items on their menu as “Vegan” but if you ask their staff and chef, those same items contain chicken stock. The Mexican rice, despite being labeled as vegan throughout the menu, has chicken and chicken stock in it. Do NOT trust anything coming out of their restaurant if you’re vegan or vegetarian, or if you have other allergies. Wildly irresponsible, infuriating, and inconsiderate. Response to owner who replied that their cashier misunderstood and that I’m making a false accusation [screenshot attached since my update will remove it]: I ordered the vegan jackfruit bowl, which is labeled as vegan on the menu. Before I asked any questions, the cashier told me that while the black beans in the bowl were vegan, the Mexican rice was not. I asked her to confirm with the chef, and after doing so she returned and said the chef confirmed the rice contained chicken stock. She repeated this several times, and when I showed her the website labeling the rice as vegan, she was surprised and said, “wow, that shouldn’t say that.” Even if the rice is vegan, the fact that multiple staff members — the chef included — said that the rice contained chicken stock is a serious concern. For people who are vegan, vegetarian, or have allergies (myself included), miscommunication like this can cause real harm. I hope the restaurant takes this as an opportunity to review training and communication, because customers rely on accurate labeling and clear guidance when making safe food choices.

Chipotle has way better portion sizes, and the braised beef was dry.
First of all you can easily pass this hole in the wall place the burritos are very bland like you were eating hospital food no flavor the size was small you get better burritos in the Mission
