Taqueria Los Cayotes San Francisco Reviews
I’ve been here many times since they’ve opened, the staff is always friendly, food delicious, and the wait non existent!
First time trying this restaurant, I had the beef Carne guisada it was really good. Rustic looking restaurant, glazed poles tin ceilings, very relaxing chairs, make for a comfortable dinner. The owners are talkative and great host. Our waitress keep checking on us, that's something you just don't get everywhere. Place is a little small but very comfortable. If you want good food give them a try you just might be surprised!
We ate here and really enjoyed it. The family that is running the business is very sweet and welcoming. I had the La Reina. The plate had a chalupa, taco, and enchilada. It was so good. The taco and chalupa shell were homemade. My husband had the carne guisada. He really enjoyed it. My son had the chicken fajitas. He said they were some of the best he has ever had. My youngest had the cheese quesadilla. It was also delicious. The plates average $11-$13 a piece. We all agreed it was a great meal and we will be back again. My husband is already planning to try their breakfast Monday!
I don’t know who Cha Cha is but she has some good food! Enchiladas are so good. The enchilada sauce is different then other places but it is very tasty. The salsa has some heat to it but has great flavor. I am a wimp when it comes to spicy but I couldn’t stop eating that salsa. I also love that they have some American food on the menu as not everyone in my household likes Mexican food. He said the burger was one of the best in Lubbock. This place is definitely a hidden gem. Great friendly service. It’s a really small place but they are worth a try! Price is around $14-15 a plate.
The food was amazing the toggle the enchiladas the Chalupa‘s the Carnegie Sada burrito was perfect the meat was tender the beans were just write the rice was amazing my wife enjoyed her meal La reina a plate and she loved the salsa I recommend coming and eating here the owners are down to earth people some of the best people you’ll ever meet so if you’re ever in the neighborhood come give them a try you won’t be disappointed
We were pleasently surprised at the heart and dedication of the staff into making your experience a great one‼️We even were fortunate enough to meet Cha-Cha herself. She was very friendly, down to 🌎 Earth ,and charismatic 🪄. For all your carnivores 🦖they have an array of menu items to satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. Their children's menu🚸 was great for the pickiest 👶eater. There's even something for all your vegetarians 🦕, that always feel left out (especially here in Texas). They enthusiastically will prepare a delight catered to vegetarian🦕 wants and needs. The 🦕 vegetarian dish came out so great, it had to be sampled by one of the die hard carnivores🦖 . Also don't let the small menu fool you. It's really just a template to work from for your individual tastes. The portions are price appropriate . While the atmosphere gives a very rustic Mexican 🇲🇽vibe. Don't let the small building fool you. Big taste comes in a small package.

Good service y'all go to try green pozole soup great for the cold weather nice people they attended very well am coming back 💯%
I loved it! Ate a burrito 🌯 😋 ♥️. I'm vegetarian, and sometimes restaurants won't cater to my needs as most food is pre-made. Or I still have to pay full price for no meat.. Also, I've been looking for a good papa's a la Mexicana. The burrito was great! Very authentic Mexican taste. I've been to high priced Mexican restaurants but this one here is a little gem 💎. The service was great, the price was great, even loved the location. It's a bit small, but plenty of seating. Muchas gracias a la dueña que me atendio lindamente ❤️❤️❤️
We stopped at this little restaurant, Cha Cha’s Restaurant and it was amazing. I am totally surprised that it was empty at 1:30pm. The chips and salsa were great. Chips were hot and crispy, the salsa was fresh and not too hot but had lots of flavor. I ordered the beef enchiladas with red sauce and the hubby had menudo. He said it was some of the best menudo he’s ever had. Our server was super attentive and the owner offered us a sample bowl of some awesome fideo, it was super tasty. I highly recommend this establishment, the price was so affordable as the food was top notch. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Has to be one of Lubbock's best hidden gems! The food is amazing and the staff is welcoming and polite. I mostly just grab a burrito to go and I've never been disappointed. 2 thumbs up and 5 stars across the board for me.
I walked in and felt right at home! The food looked amazing and tasted amazing. Felt like I was eating the best homemade meal. Will be here more often. The service was phenomenal as well!!!! They deserve more than 5 stars.
So cute from the outside and the food was delicious! I ordered the three enchilada plate and loved every bite. Chips were on point and the salsa was the right heat for me. Excellent, caring staff.

Food was good!! But overpriced for the amount of food given the menu didn’t match on what I was charged, was alittle up set but didn’t question it just paid friendly staff but just price wise not good.
This is my 3rd time ordering from here ever time I’m disappointed but today my chicken tacos were cold like just pulled out of the fridge cold. The lady on the phone was rude and this is my 2nd encounter with her and she just doesn’t come across as if she knows how to talk to customers. I called to talk to them about it and they hung up the phone. We try hard to support local but the customer svc here is sorry! I just wanted a refund cause 3 times of sub par food is crazy.
Wow! Who ever thought if actually order a shrimp scampi at a Mexican restaurant! But it was deliciously simple! You have gotta try it!!! Best meal I have had in so long! Thanks!! Update: I forgot to update but I'm doing it now. I actually got sick the next day because I ate here. Yes it was delicious but I had gotten (please forgive me and I warn you that this next part is going to be a little explicit due to the lack of better words so forgive me please) a very bad case of the runs. It was so bad. I think hand washing or the lack of, rather, must be the cause of my illness but then again, I had shellfish so it could be from the shrimp, how it was store, cross contamination, or how it was cooked, or cooked and cooled or whatever. So not cool guys. I was at work when I this happened. I'll never eat there again. Y'all dropped the ball.
