The Royale San Francisco Reviews
We were new in town, staying nearby and let me tell you. Everything from the locals to the bar attendants were phenomenal. Come by if your new in town, come by if your shy, come by if you want some good company. I promise it will not disappoint. The pool table makes a great ice breaker. #musicchoicemondays!
We did the mixology session as a team building activity. It was great. Mark, our bartender/teacher was great. We had so much fun and learned a lot about mixing ingredients and alcohol. Highly recommend.
Small, cute neighborhood bar with pool tables and occasional live music. Friendly bartenders.
Very cool neighborhood bar with pool table, mezzanine seating, rotating local art and friendly bartenders
Real divey joint frequented by locals. Cool taste of the city, really awesome bartender. Any place with a pool table is a winner in my book.
Nice little jazz bar, friendly staff and good drinks. Music is great.
Randomly came across this bar after having dinner nearby and had a great time. Live music was great and the cocktails were also delicious.
Cozy bar with live jazz and a clever list of cocktails

Best barista I’ve ever met in my whole life.
Bartenders were so nice and chill! Drinks were great too!
Went here to listen to the live music. The Bohrer Bros. Trio was performing and it was some of the best music I've heard in a long time. Live music is so special. I hope they're paying the musicians really well, they really deserve it. I stayed all night just to listen to the music. The bartender was really cool. Really nice guy. The pool table was really nice. Very clean. Very atmospheric. I felt very safe there.
This bar has been my bar for as long as I’ve lived in nob hill for many reasons... It’s got enough room for everyone, the live music is always fantastic (and super varied!), the drinks are amazing (get the Manhattan) and the owner/bartenders cannot be beat. They are working hard to make it through the pandemic so that we can safely bar it up again on the other side. Show this place some love ❤️ San Francisco!
This is exactly what I imagine when I think of a good local bar. It's not too crazy earlier in the evening so if you're looking for a quiet spot at 8 or 9 this is the place for you. It definitely picks up and by midnight the live music, friendly crowds, and haphazard pool games make it a really fun place to be. The drinks are well made, though I wouldn't recommend getting any old fashion's as I hear they're not the best. My vodka based mixed drinks were pretty good though! The live music was great, not too obnoxious and really set the vibe there!
I hosted my birthday party here and couldn’t be more pleased with Will & Co. They were super easy to plan with, communicative, and welcoming to myself and my guests. The spot is huge and spacious and perfect for a big party. I’d definitely throw another bash here next year!
Nice place, pool table, reasonable drink prices $11 for shot of Buffalo Trace. Street parking is very limited. Garage not far
Great little neighborhood bar! Superb staff that remembered us when we came back for night 2. Live jazz (!!!) on Friday and Saturday nights. Very welcoming vibe, and a safe neighborhood.

There was no food. Drink was excellent. I ordered cosmo. It wasn’t huge but tasted perfect and live music on Friday was a plus !

Very sweet bartender who made us great cocktails. Had to get it strong enough to knock me out coz jetlagging
It is a good place, beers etc, what the most impressed to me was the floor, it looks like 70' bathrooms

Barkeeper with the moustache scammed us by selling us a full Guiness but serving it in the wrong glass. We requested a proper Guinness glass so we could „split the G“ only to discover that the glass he had served was LESS Guinness than the G split itself. Upon request to the get the full request the bartender said that we need to pay for another beer. As a European I don’t understand why American demand a default 20% tip for such a service.

Been here few times before and have always enjoyed my time until the other night. The female bartender I've never encountered before was very rude and tried to dictate to our group how much her tip should be and basically told us to leave. Started telling people at the door they could only get beer and shots as she wasn't making anymore cocktails.
