The Sea Star San Francisco Reviews
The most delicious craft cocktails around! I've followed Alicia around at all the bars she's worked at because she knows how to make a damn good cocktail. I'm so happy to see her as one of the owners of The Sea Star and they know how to run a well oiled machine. Every bartender there is super knowledgeable and friendly. I've moved away from here but come to visit family often and make sure to stop in. I don't drink anymore and was super happy to find an N/A mixed drink on the menu. I actually wasn't worried about it as I knew they'd be able to make me something delicious. So cheers to the amazing staff, cocktails, and beautiful ambience!
The Sea Star is enchanting with its dark and captivating decor. Their drink menu has every spirit from Gin to Mezcal and each drink is immaculate. The Sea Star is the ideal location for any night out.
Cute holiday get up on the walls, very festive! Only had one drink but it was incredible. Pool table in the back but mostly just a quaint little bar to enjoy without distractions of TV or otherwise. Friendly staff.
Cool little place. There’s a turntable set up with a bunch of vinyl. Beer selection was pretty great. Staff was very friendly.
Quirky little bar. Very doggo friendly and the bartender we met was part owner and very friendly. Would visit again in a heartbeat
Nice bar, friendly staff, good atmosphere, and wonderful cocktails.
Such a fun bar! Hospitality 10/10! Pool tables and vibes. Came after a Warriors game- highly recommended.
Stopped by for a couple of drinks while exploring the Dogpatch area. We were all satisfied with our cocktails and the service from the bartender. They have a pool table to play while enjoying drinks.

Great place, people, and vibes. Don't miss out on the cocktails. They also have a pool table. Would come again.
Awesome bar. Location is a quiet part of town but this place is open late and offers pizza as food so what more could you ask for. The cocktails though are world class. Very thought out and meticulously procured. The bartenders definitely know their stuff and are super friendly. Highly recommend if you are anywhere near the area. Its worth a little hike to get to.
The drinks here are great and the atmosphere is just beyond welcoming! It's fresh and cozy with a lovely sea-inspired decor! The bartenders are so nice and attentive, going above and beyond to make everyone feel seen and taken care of. My friend and I went here late NYE 2022/2023 and had a blast, can't but recommend this place. LGBTQ+ and dog friendly!
I would give 10 stars if I could!!! One of my fav bars in SF; HANDS DOWN. The owner is the sweetest, coolest boss ever, and the vibe is super laid back. Everyone is extremely nice and friendly and it’s a VERY safe atmosphere. Oh and the drinks are super creative!!!
Steph is awesome! I brought in a group of 20 folks last minute and she single-handedly took care of all our drinks and food needs. This was for work and she made me look good :) Much appreciated Steph!
Came in by chance on a Friday night - full of people! Nice atmosphere, and the music was great. They also have a modern version of a jukebox!
Great cozy spot with scale of options for beer and cocktails. Couches on high top with comfortable seating for all us middle aged people and a pool table in the back. Nice happy hour menu. Staff: Witty, strong customer service, and genuine personalities. Come here after working in dog patch, truly a gem of a spot.
Pizza was great. Cocktails were outstanding. The bartenders took time to discuss and recommend cocktails. Very good service. Nice selection of beers, but we did not have any. Recommend the place.
Alicia and her team are top notch mixologists! There's always a smiling face to greet you, alongside creative cocktails in a non pretentious atmosphere. Love it here!!

Best old fashion in SF. Cool decor and great bartenders. Oh yeah, the $5 Detriot style pizza is clutch.
Nice selection of draft beers, plus some really nice non-alcoholic mocktails, served by great staff.

Love this place! Somehow manages to be approachable and down to earth while still serving an extensive and and sophisticated cocktail menu. Great N/A options too. Love the pool table and jukebox!
The Sea Star is a fun, relaxed bar that provides a nice escape from the modern vibes of the Dogpatch. The decor helps set the funky, nautical theme, and the cocktail menu is pretty extensive and has something for many different tastes. I got the Peanut Envy, which was served with a small snack of peanuts on the side. The drink was tasty, but I was expecting a bit more of a punch given the bourbon, sherry, lime leaf, lemongrass, peanut, lime and chili. It was refreshing and easily drinkable, but didn't have much heat or strong flavors, so I would try a different drink on their menu next time. The salted peanut snack was a nice addition, although it also could've used a bit more seasoning Nonetheless, we enjoyed the fun ambiance, nautical theme, and extensive menu.
Great vibes, splendid drinks, calm, peaceful escape from hustle-bustle of the neighbourhood. Not to forget, courteous and friendly staff. Drink recommendations: Gypsy Tailwind

Hi Alicia. My out of town guests have a bad impression of SF and your establishment after the way we were treated on Dec 5th. No reason for the passive aggressive treatment as we were just trying to enjoy the game on TV. SF snobbery is not a good look.
