Tycoon Kitchen San Francisco Reviews
I want to share my experience with Tycoon Kitchen. The food is really delicious. I come here 2–3 times a week, and it’s always good. The manager is very attentive and friendly. I also love that you can get your food to go and take it up to the park — it’s like having a little picnic in the middle of a workday.
I ordered the Drunken Noodle beef & Shrimp pad Thai Drunken Noodle Beef is a solid 100/10 Just amazing. Best beef noddles I’ve had in a minute Savory, delicious , amazing , and looks great Shrimp pad Thai is a solid 2/10 All u can taste is just spice not heat spice but just spice. And shrimp was like shredded chicken and like over done to the Max. This place deserves 5 stars for the beef noodle alone. I had a couple bites then had to share sorry.
First time eating here for lunch and I was very happy with my meal and service. I ordered at the convenient kiosk and the food and drink came out quick. The salmon was seasoned well and not dry. The soup was spicy but very flavorful. Also, they cooked the rice perfectly lol. The coffee was strong, but delicious.
We absolutely LOVED this place!!! Their customer service, quality, flavors, freshness just perfect 🤌🏽 chefs kiss!!!! Anytime we're back in SF this will be one of the stops we make!!!
Good food, friendly service, short wait. I dined in and sat to wait for my food but a larger group came in. I was kindly asked to switch to another table and the manager offered me a drink on the house as a thank you. Was not expecting that but it was much appreciated!
A diamond in the rough. Tycoon Kitchen has plenty of exotic dishes to enjoy at Salesforce Transit Center. The Florentine Benedict was exquisite, and their Mango -Sticky Rice dessert could not have been tastier. Amazing experience.
Awesome staff and food. Took a little longer, then they gave three sodas to make up for it to me and my friend — very empathetic!
I came here with a reservation on a Sunday afternoon and wow! This was a pleasant surprise. Good: - Table was ready immediately - I was immediately a fan of everything that I got - The Dalgona coffee was not too sweet but so good and unique - The drunken noodles were so chewy and had a great texture! The beef was so good too. Bad: - Somewhat long wait time for food, but it’s also a small kitchen so I understand why - Small tight space Overall, loved this place and the concept and it’s not too far away either!
Update The Tom Yum noodle soup ($17) was as good as it looked from my first visit. Soup was medium spicy, rich, thick, and incredibly flavorful hitting all the right complex Tom Yum notes. It was also huge and I couldn't finish it, packed with tons of large perfectly cooked butterflied shrimp (you have your choice of protein tho), baby boc choy, a softboiled egg, a smattering of sprouts, and some noodles. I really appreciated there wasn't too many noodles or sprouts. You get jalapenos, lime, and yet more sprouts on the side. Service continues to be great, they are so friendly and attentive. Note: this place is tiny, like 4 tables ------- The pad se ew was excellent and filling. Very friendly and attentive service. My neighbor had the Tom Yum noodle soup which looked great, looking forward to that next time
Seriously a hidden gem. One of the best Asian fusion restaurants I’ve been to in a long time. Fried chicken fried rice is genius and it’s clear why it’s their top seller. Staff is super friendly too.
To be honest. The food was not that great, but it is good. I will say 8 out of 10. But ..... Why I gave five stars, because their staff especially the host/server, it was an asian man, he was veryyyyyyyy serving. He gave smiles, serve very well, really warm welcoming. That's the service needed in F&B industry !!!! Very good. Plus, i went there on monday and turned out it's a free drink day. So i bought chicken basil and crispy veggies roll. Very good food, and the best part yet to come. I love spicy food, so I asked if they have chilli powder, the server told me they have chilli paste. When he brought it to me, he warn me its very spicy. And guess what? Exactly the spicy level I wanted and its very rare to get this green chilli paste like that here in the States. I love it !! Thank you !!!
Great experience! So great to see awesome food options in the East Cut. We enjoyed the breakfast menu and found the food to be made with high quality ingredients and good portion size. We’ll definitely be back!
I’ve been here 3 times since they opened and they never fail to impress me!! The food is delicious, sort of a Thai-fusion for the brunch items, and the staff are always amazingly kind and friendly :) I recommend the fried chicken rice, pad see ew, fried chicken sandwich, and Thai iced tea!
What a breakfast… this is place has one the best breakfast I’ve ever had. The taste is a fusion between asian and american, presentation looks great, service was great (even though it is a small restaurant). I would definitely visit again and again.

What a gem. Incredible food, only to be outdone by the staff. Friendly, high energy, great portions.

VALUE. Food comes out fast, wide variety of food, and it tastes great. They have a couple locations across san Francisco, definately reccomend it for someone visiting.

I love Tycoon! A little out-of-the-way under the Transit Center but well worth the trek for this hidden gem (but not TOO hidden - there's always a good crowd of folks waiting around lunchtime, so order ahead if you're on a time crunch). The portions are huge and can easily feed you for multiple meals. I love the pumpkin curry with tofu as a hearty curry dish as well as the pad thai with shrimp. I've also tried the avocado & egg sandwich as a brunch option. The mango mayo on there is super tasty! The owner of the restaurant is also just the kindest, sweetest human being to each and every one of his customers. His joy and positivity are infectious!
Tycoon Kitchen has quickly become one of our go-to spots in the East Cut. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. My personal favorite is the Basil Chicken :) We’re regulars at this point, and every visit is met with friendly service, especially from the cashier, who is always welcoming and kind. Truly a neighborhood gem!!😁

Tasty and speedy fast casual / takeout-centric Thai spot conveniently located on the first floor of Salesforce Tower, making it the perfect workday lunch spot. Tycoon Kitchen has been quite the prominent feature in my rotation of office lunches, and I’ve been impressed every single time by the consistency and quality of their food, the efficiency of their service (especially with only such a small kitchen), and how friendly the staff and owner are. My go-to is their eggplant and tofu stir-fry, which often seems to take a few extra minutes to prepare, so the owner will often offer me a free Thai tea or spring rolls for waiting for what he considers a long time but what I think is perfectly reasonable given how busy they are. To make things more efficient, they also have two kiosks outside that you can order on, or you can poke your head inside if you’d rather speak to someone live. The food is absolutely delicious, and I love how flavorful everything is (including the tofu — a rare sight these days)! The portions are also quite generous. I’m often left with a healthy amount of leftovers, perfect for dinner or an afternoon snack.
This place can be a little tricky to find at first. It's located on the ground floor in the Salesforce Transit center. Food is pretty good. I got myself a Salmon Rice Bowl - Salmon was great. It was served with red curry sauce. Rice was average and the side salad that came in was okayish. Service is lightning fast. They were able to manage so many orders at a very fast pace. You need to commend them on that. The place is good for takeout as the dining area is very limited here. The interior has probably just 2 tables and they have made some makeshift arrangements to accommodate people outside.

Ordered from here for team lunch and got the pad see ew. Portion is hugeeeee the box was hefty and I only ended up being able to finish half of it!! A little disappointed though since there was lack of flavor :( reasonably priced though!

When the food is good it’s great. But for at least 5 times that I’ve ordered their morning crispy chicken salad there’s always some ingredient missing. Sometimes it’s the tomatoes, almost always the cabbage, now it’s the cheese. When I call they tell me it was someone else doing the food and they’ll make sure “next time we’ll have all the ingredients in your order”. No offer to redo the salad, just a vague promise. I’ve left this feedback before for them as well as on the order and it happened again regardless. I am sad to write this because I think their food is a great option but hopefully this gives them an incentive to improve the service when they make a mistake on their orders.
